The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 369: Epilogue 1: The Children <2>

Only Kate was still sitting on Kyle’s shoulder without any intention to get down. Kyle had long gotten used to Kate’s mischievous deeds after living with her for a long time, so he ignored her antics and instead focused on the two guests who came.

"So, what brings you here today?"

"Some reports of the appearance of a few giant mutated animals that they can’t handle and asked for you again." Jake handed the folder he was holding. "Say, they really treated you quite specially."

"That’s just because they didn’t want to cause more troubles." Kyle snorted and read the file for a while before handing it back to Jake. "Say that I reject it. It’s too far away from here and I’m too lazy to make the trip."

Marc smiled helplessly. "They will complain again."

"Let them complain. I don’t care."

Jake shrugged. He was just here to deliver the news since this was a confidential report and better to be handed personally. The security in the network sometimes couldn’t be fully trusted for some matters.

He turned to look at Kate on Kyle’s shoulder. "Say, any tips to get daughters?"

Kate looked at Jake speechlessly. "…Just pray."

After saying that, Kate jumped to the back and with a poof, she returned to her adult appearance. Perhaps because of this mutation, she still looked like she was in her early twenties and didn’t change much.

Kyle patted Jake’s shoulder and smirked. "Don’t worry, if you keep trying, you might be able to have a daughter."

Jake looked at Kyle resentfully.

Recently, Lotte just born him his third son and she was also disappointed. The two of them had long wanted to have daughters because the two boys in Jake’s house was simply complete troublemaker.

He had started to understand why his father and mother loved to beat him so much when he was a brat until now.

Because he himself also ended up beating those two annoying boys.

Now, he had a third son.

Even though his third son was still a toddler, he had the feeling that the troubles in his house would be never ending.

Lotte herself also sighed that she wanted a daughter, why did she end up having three troublemaking boys?

"It’s fine, I also only have one son." Marc shrugged.

And this son of his had been beaten up by Lucy whenever he made trouble. With Lucy’s threatening strength, it was actually a miracle that his son could still perservere. Perhaps, it was within his faint hope that he could be as strong as his mother.

Hopefully.

Watching how his wife educated his son, Marc decided not to have more children. He really couldn’t imagine how Lucy would be treating their daughter should she have one in the future.

It’s better to just have one son.

As long as his bone toughen up, it’s fine to beat him up a bit. Anyway, his wounds heal quickly.

"…I’m more curious how you end up with that…" Jake couldn’t find the words to describe Lucy. Because whenever he said this… Lucy would come and beat him up squarely. The feeling was really hard to describe.

"Why not? It’s fun." Marc chuckled. "And Robby loved her a lot."

Jake looked at Marc speechlessly.

He had the feeling that Marc’s first criteria to find a partner back then was for his partner to like his dog. When he thought of that, he silently lit a candle for Marc’s previous suitor when he was in the university.

While Marc was quite poor back then, he looked handsome and had good grades, so there was no lack of girls who had crush on him. However, Marc was mostly devoted on his study, which break the hearts of who knows how many girls.

When Jake heard about this, he felt that having good grades should have been good.

But his sons…

All two of them have disaster result in the school, giving him headache. Why did they have to be complete replica of him?

Can’t they just follow his wife?

"If you want to continue discuss about this, you can do it outside." Kyle shook his head.

Jake rolled his eyes. "We should all gather together and see whose children among us is the best! I’m sure that in terms of outdoor activities, my sons are the best!"

"You can’t compare with my son who has been under strict training from Lucy."

"Uh."

"If you want to compare IQ test, you can’t compare to Dylan’s son." Kyle looked at Jake with a deadpan expression. "And don’t compare beauty, there are only three girls in total."

Two of his daughter and Dylan’s second child.

Jake looked at Kyle speechlessly.

Kate laughed. Watching any of them dissing Jake has become the norm most of the time and Jake himself also had nothing to say back. After all, his two sons were indeed the troublemakers.

Kyle watched as Jake and Marc walked away.

"Let’s go and continue the experiment after you wash up." Kyle turned to look at Kate.

"Sure~." Kate laughed lightly and hugged Kyle’s arm. Being an adult was indeed better because there were more things that she could do with Kyle.

Their activities hadn’t been much different.

And when it was time for dinner, Kate called the two girls, who happily ran to their mother and hugged her. When Kate was in a child’s form, the two girls often treated her as their close friends.

After all, she did look like a girl their age.

"Mom, I have finished my homework!" Layla said proudly.

"So fast!" Lindsay was shocked. "Mine is only halfway done, Big Sis."

"Hehehe, of course!"

Kate laughed and patted her two daughters’ head. "Yes, you two are really good."

The two of them beamed.

Kyle watched from the side with a faint smile. From the bottom of his heart, he felt happy and complete.

"Come and eat."

"Yes, Dad!"
