The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 332: Last Mission <2>

"That source something?" Lucy arched her eyebrows and then grinned. "Of course. I’m bored as hell here without those giant mutated animals to be beaten up."

The giant mutated animals around City E had been completely cleaned up by the awakened. Right now, these awakened also needed other things to vent their excess energy.

One of the few things that they did was to have some small competition occasionally.

Anyway, these people willing to be beaten up and willing to beat up and the money flow into the city.

It was all good.

"Okay." Kate nodded with a smile, walking out of the research institute and headed back to where Kyle was located.

"You don’t want to come?" Jake came over and asked when he saw Dylan’s answer in the group. Their group had a special text message that could be used to communicate with others. Kyle was too lazy to meet up with each and every single one of them, so he simply informed in the group while waiting for Kate who went to see Lucy.

Dylan glanced at Jake. "Defense."

"You want to defend City E, huh?" Jake thought about it and nodded.

In City E, they were the only rank 7 awakened. Kyle’s father said that he was close, but because he didn’t fully focus on practice, he knew that it would still take a few more months.

General Ryan was also busy with the city development and so on, so his development in terms of his own power was not as fast as these brats.

If all seven of them were to leave City E, who would stay behind and protect it?

What if there was an attack from a rank 7 giant mutated animals when they were away? City E is not only the place for them to stay and rest, but it has also become their home. No one wanted to see it being destroyed.

"I thought it’ll be more fun if you could leave." Jake sighed.

Lotte glanced at Jake. She came with him when she saw the message in the group because he was itching to ask Dylan directly. "Don’t mind Dylan. He’s still busy with the cooperation with White Family. I heard that their little princess will come again soon."

"Oh? Alisa White?" Jake remembered that rank 6 water element awakened. After the third red rain, Alisa was still rank 6. And after a year of practice, she didn’t manage to reach rank 7 but only have another minor advancement.

This only proved that advancement was not easy.

But their group had already consumed a lot of gems and crystals. Added with the special food that had been prepared for them in accordance to their elements, they still managed to reach rank 7.

Aside from Lucy, whose advancement method was so bitter, the others were relatively easy.

Kate told them that one of the reason why they could advance so fast was because of a reverse healer. But she didn’t explain more and the others didn’t dare to ask either. It must be Kate’s secret.

Those white dots that represent the life force could be added to them when they were practicing.

It healed them faster.

And allowed them to have better connection with their elements.

Thus, their advancement was faster.

But Kate would never say it outright. The matter of reverse healer had just passed. If it was known that they could also help other practice faster, who knew how many people would target these reverse healers again?

She would rather stay out of the limelight.

The military under the leader are also getting stronger faster than others, so Kate had long guessed that the leader knew about the reverse healer’s specialties. But there was a limit to how much a healer could heal others.

Reverse healer was the same.

Their own healing ability required a long time to regenerate. The fastest method was to transfer these white dots from giant mutated animals to humans. As long as they only took the life force and not those black dots, they would be fine without any other effect.

But the research would require a long time before they fully understood this reverse healing’s ability.

"Yep. I heard that she will come again." Lotte purposely looked at Dylan’s expression when she said this matter.

Dylan nodded. "Yes."

He still looked as indifferent as ever, but Lotte noticed a faint glint in Dylan’s eyes. Perhaps, a year of interaction with each other had allowed these two to somehow get closer.

Oh well, that was fine.

The others would not interfere with this.

Though, Lotte’s eyes were a little gossipy. She also liked gossip, especially about her teammates. But she would also keep proportion to make sure that she would not cross the line.

"Has Marc recovered?" Jake thought of another matter. Marc’s advancement was a bit forceful when he was outside practicing and battled these giant mutated animals.

At that time, the situation was a bit perilous and Marc was doing a solo mission with Robby. He called for help, but the others were a bit slow.

It was not like he couldn’t hold on.

But Marc himself also wished to advance to rank 7 and thus forcefully stimulated his own potential to the fullest.

The result?

Those giant mutated animals were all killed cleanly and even the higher ranked giant mutated animals were eliminated.

As for Marc….

He was bedridden for a month and had been resting for the past two to three months. The doctors strongly advised him not to use his ability too often during this time if he still wanted to live.

Robby kept on accompanying Marc and the surprising thing was that when Marc was unconscious, Robby also fell unconscious.

The connection of the blood contract was really strong.

The researchers naturally flocked when they heard that, but Lucy didn’t allow any of them to disturb Marc when he was recuperating. Those who dared to trespass would be beaten to pulp by her.

It was really miserable.

In the end, they had to leave.
