The multicolored crystal-like behemoth walked up to the sleeping Saber-Toothed Tiger, bent down, and directly picked it up in its mouth.

The Saber-Toothed Tiger, fast asleep, didn't react at all as the behemoth tossed it into the air and then swallowed it whole.

With a few crunchy bites, the Saber-Toothed Tiger was completely devoured by the behemoth.

Lin Shen had originally thought that given the Ascended Creature's massive size, its resistance would be much higher, and that after so many transfers, it wouldn't be easy to put it to sleep.

After all, such a huge Saber-Toothed Tiger would surely take time to digest, right?

Yet, who would have thought that after only a few steps, the creature would suddenly keel over and fall to the ground, crashing into and shattering some of the Emerald Sword Orchids nearby, then plopped down and began snoring heavily.

"Is that stuff really that potent?" Lin Shen wondered in shock.

Had he known the tree's powder was this powerful, strong enough to overcome the resistance of Ascended Creatures, he would have kept some for himself.

Should he ever encounter an enemy he couldn't defeat, he could find a way to feed them this substance and let them sleep like a dead pig, at which point he could kill them any way he wanted.

Unfortunately, all the powder had been licked clean, and now there was no opportunity to collect more.

"This fellow swallowed the Saber-Toothed Tiger; perhaps the effects of the tree's powder are in its Ascension Liquid. Once I kill it and collect its Ascension Liquid, there should be some effect, right?" With Lin Shen's strength and speed, the sword pierced all the way to the hilt, with only the guard and handle remaining outside.

The sleeping Ascended Creature didn't react at all and was thus killed by Lin Shen with a single stab.

Lin Shen took out the prepared water bag, then slowly pulled out the sword. The colorful Ascension Liquid flowed along the blade's edge.

Lin Shen hurriedly used the bag to catch it. Despite the Ascended Creature's large size, there was not much Ascension Liquid inside its body. Lin Shen filled three full bags, but the fourth bag was only half full before the liquid ran out.

The entire Life Base was colored in a vibrant spectrum, with changing lights inside, absence of a fixed spirit form.

Lin Shen looked down at his watch and saw there was already a message.

"Killed a Sixth Turn Mutated Ascension Beast, Luminescent Beast; discovered a Sixth Turn Mutated Spirit Base, Nightglow Flower."

"Damn, this thing is actually a sixth turn mutant... How come I didn't feel it was that strong... It just goes to show how hard and sharp the Archangel's Sword at the tenth turn is..." Lin Shen was ecstatic in his heart.

This mutated sixth turn Spirit Base, the Nightglow Flower, was like something gained without any effort.

Lin Shen hurriedly stuffed the Nightglow Flower into his backpack, hanged all the bags containing Ascension Liquid on him, then he went back to where Tian Xin was and put the immaculate, spotless Archangel's Sword back into its scabbard.

"It seems that in the future, I should first find a Spirit Base to use as a weapon. "It would be great if I could get a spear or a whip," Lin Shen crouched down and pinched Tian Xin's philtrum hard again, but still couldn't wake him up.

"This won't do, I have to get him out of here. If he dies here, I'd have a hard time explaining it to Tian Xun." After some thought, Lin Shen decided to try one last time, and if it still wouldn't work, he'd rather leave behind the Attribute Fruits and take Tian Xin out to hand over to Tian Xun.

Lin Shen summoned the Black Crystal Stoneman and had it carry the box with the fruits away to a distance, then ordered it to open the box.
