Alex, sitting on his throne with Luna on his lap, sitting diagonally, her hands on his chest, fingers making circles on it, questioned her with a smile.

It had been a while since he talked to her about this organization, and although he was proud of her for creating such an organization on her own, in the demon empire at that, he didn't really have a need for it.

His all-seeing eyes were always there to help him get any information he could want on his enemies.

But this time, he wanted to test something, so he decided to question it.

"Hm? Well, it's going well, but I'm not satisfied with it."

Luna, on the other hand, was busy dreaming about her future with Alex, with two cute children on their lap, one boy with pink hair and pink eyes and a girl with black hair and red eyes, letting out a merry laugh, so she answered dismissively.

Her words, however, caused Alex to raise a brow, putting off the topic he wanted to discuss for a while and focusing on another point.

"Oh? Why is it that you are dissatisfied with it?"

He pulled Luna closer and looked down into her eyes, a gentle smile gracing his lips as he inquired about the reason for her discontent.

"She probably wants to expand her organization but couldn't think of a way to ask you for that, so now she's trying to show you that she's emotionally depressed."

But just as Luna's face, with a downcast expression, turned upward, her lips parting, and she was about to speak, another voice sounded, causing Luna's expression to break for a second.

"Oh?"

Alex's expression turned into one filled with realization as he turned to look at Ann, who wasn't even looking at them but away from them.

This action made Alex chuckle lightly as he shook his head, turning to look to his right, only to see Alice doing the same.

This was what they did every day.

If it was Alice's turn to sit on his lap, then the ones to do it would be Luna and Ann.

Noctura, on the other hand, didn't have to worry about any of these, as today she sat on Alex's shoulder, looking at everything with her half-closed eyes.

There was a hint of desire in those eyes of hers, but defeat was mixed within it as well.

She had always wanted to have the same type of interaction with Alex; she also wanted to shower him with kisses, not just on his cheeks but on his lips as well.

She wanted to turn into her human form and do every single thing she had seen her mother do with Alex, but she couldn't even gather enough courage to show her human form in front of Alex, much less do something else.

She knew that unlike her beast form, in which only her eyes show most of her expression, in her human form, her feelings would become more apparent, and she felt like many things would change once that happened.

She didn't know what kind of change it would be, but that was the main problem; she was scared of having everything taken away from her.

'What if he starts hating me?'

'What if Mum stops loving me?'

'Would I be thrown away then?'

Those thoughts scared her more than anything else in her life.

She knew that Alex didn't really see her as a woman; he rather saw her as a child—which might change if she saw her human form, but she didn't want to take a risk based on a possibility.

Not when she had a lot of things that she might lose.

So, just like always, she stayed on the sidelines, looking at everything and behaving like a good pet.

She wasn't aware that Alex could read her emotions, making it possible for him to know just what she thought and how she felt, but he didn't think that it was time to talk about that for now.

Noctura was still a child, and if one were to look at it practically, she wasn't even a year old.

Yeah, she grew up fast, and her maturity arrived way earlier than it was supposed to be, but maybe she was in her teenage right now, the time when people make most of the bad decisions, so he let her be for now.

'Sigh...'

With a light sigh on the inside, he turned back to Luna and asked in a voice tinged with tease.

"Is what she said the truth?"

"Yes, it is."

It wasn't even a second later that he received a reply from Luna, as she smiled lightly, secretly using her aura, trying to tempt Alex, causing him to chuckle again.

If it were Alice who was in her place, caught red-handed, then she would have been shuttering by now, unable to come up with words, but Luna didn't; she instead pressed forward.

But well, this is why he loved her—she was unique.

"You know that I can block your abilities, right?"

He questioned, a curious light shining in his eyes.

"But you won't…"

Luna, however, just pulled Alex lower, their lips closing in, causing Ann and Alice's bodies to tremble and their fists to clench, frustrated at what Luna was trying to do.

'Why am I suffering as well?!'

Alice roared inwardly, unable to take this.

It was Ann who destroyed Luna's plan, so she should take it out on her; why pull the poor her into this?

'Sorry, Alice.'

Even Luna knew that she was unknowingly pulling Alice in, so she just apologized inwardly, not really feeling guilty or anything, as Alice wasn't some saint and she had done things like this as well.

Ann, on the other hand, just stayed silent, knowing full well that it was her fault for poking Luna first.

"...Right?"

Luna added, her lips brushing against Alex's trying to make him do everything.

"Yes, I won't."

Alex smiled, his lips moving closer to Luna's, but as Luna closed her eyes, waiting for the wet feeling of Alex's lips touching hers, she heard his voice again.

"But you don't have to do this every time you want something from me, you know? I would never stop you from doing such things; all you have to do is inform me about it."

Her eyes snapped open, a dead light shining within them as she stared at Alex, who was caressing Noctura's head and staring back at her with a playful smile.

How could she know that even with him not using any ability to block her attempts, his passive abilities of Mentality of Master were enough to ward off such effects without much effort?

Luna, who saw Alex's actions, just punched him on the chest lightly, puffing her cheek, causing Alex to chuckle harder.

She could tell what Alex was trying to say by his actions; he was showing that there was Noctura with them, meaning he wouldn't do anything she shouldn't see.

"So, can I expand my organization in Ferox Empire?"

The next second, however, she just leaned on his chest and questioned, causing him to pat her head.

"Just inform Theron about it, and then you can do it."

He didn't mention permission, as he knew that Theron wouldn't really mind, but he wanted to keep the guy informed; even if it was just in name and it was new for him, they were still brothers, and he didn't want to keep his bother in the dark about something happening in his own empire.

"Alright."

Luna smiled, hugging Alex tight, happy that she got the permission.

This world was way larger than the last one, and much more complex than the last one, so controlling an organization while keeping it hidden was very challenging, but the more challenging it was, the more she enjoyed it.

After that, the room got enveloped in a calm silence, with only the light sound of breaths audible; not for long, though...

"I have been thinking for a while, but who's this guy you have invited today? And is there something special about him?"

Ann, who had been thinking about this thing for a while, questioned, breaking the silence.

The reason they were still sitting here after the court session had ended was solely because Alex had called for someone.

They didn't ask who it was, as Alex had said that they would know in a while, but around 15 minutes had passed with no one coming in the hall, causing Ann to ask that question.

Alex, on the other hand, had a certain glint pass through his eyes the moment he heard those words, his mind drifting back to one of his training sessions with Selina.

"Just an overly cautious guy..."

Alex muttered, causing all three of the girls to raise their brows, only to hear a weird popping sound the next second before they saw two people, who weren't in the hall a second ago, appearing out of thin air.
