"He's too good… how do you endure him?"

Eon was serving the very people that talked shit behind our back, that too, with a damned smile on his face.

I don't like it, he knows that, and yet just like the few things that he does anyway, I don't think he will stop making the food for others or feeding those that simply liked his food or needed something to eat.

"There are some things you experience and see after living for a few years with a person like him."

We were all eating on the balcony above the cafeteria area where the others including the teachers were eating.

The academy helpers were serving the students equally regardless of their social ranks like they usually do, and even though Eon was also one of the servers, as the cook, he was doing it because he wanted to see them eat what he had spent hours making.

It wasn't about their nature or behaviour for him, it was also not about what they say about his food or about us when we aren't around.

"He… I know… he's a little too kind sometimes."

We have been together for a while now and I have seen him showing remorse for the death of a demon as well.

He hates the evil cultists and yet he somehow manages to resonate with their nihilistic ideologies.

He was a strange bastard, but as kind, good, and lovely he was… I had seen the darkness, the abyss that existed deep within him.

"But he isn't as good as you all think."

I looked at him, his disguised blue eyes, his short black hair that seemed like coal compared to his original golden hair, and smiled at Tia.

"He is annoying, he is dumb, he is selfish, has hell, and more than anything… he's stubborn."

He did not like serving the people that even he did not like much. What he loved, what he had dedicated a part of his life to, was to the very art of cooking.

"I don't tolerate him, I don't have to since I know how he loves the art of cooking more than the very act of serving to the people that he doesn't like much that comes with it.

He likes the very art of creation and when he is serving to the others, he sees their expressions, the way they hold their utensils, the way their breathing changes as they hold his food, the way they react when their senses perceive his food…

He is evil. He's not a saint, and he most certainly isn't a good, selfless person as pure as you."

My voice was not loud, it was simply loud enough for the rest of them to hear it.

And as I said…

"Hmmm?"

"What? Pure? Tia?"

"Captain is pure…?"

The others including Hide could not believe it when I called Tia Pure. From their perspective, Eon… Lucifer was like a saint compared to this dangerous fairy friend of theirs.

"You all misunderstand the meaning of 'pure' most of the time, you know?"

They were eating right now.

There was a bunch of people here including Captain Alpha, Prince Alph, and even Ezra,

There were a bunch of people all eating from the big table full of things prepared only for them.

They loved most of the things present here and even the things that they were trying for the time were something that they found unbelievably delicious.

They were enjoying their food, but at the same time, they were enjoying the experience of eating with all these people, their friends.

"Purity is the original nature of something and how consistently an individual or entity expresses their original nature."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

In that sense, both Eon and I were much more impure compared to the rest of them.

Carla and the others who knew about our identity and still acted as if they did not know about it were also not as pure as those who did not know about it since those who did not know about us, were never acting in any manner.

They weren't deceiving anyone… unlike Alpha and the other council members who have to hide their identities by duty, most of our friends who were unaware of who we were or were hiding their true selves in any manner, were more pure.

Tia, especially, was someone that did not stray away from her true nature most of the time.

She was competitive and she showed it with her actions, she was someone who cared and she showed it through each flap of her wing, and if that wasn't enough, as a fairy, she was by nature a pure entity that could not hide her true nature even if she wanted.

"Tia is pure. Think about it and you'll see it as well."

Truth seeing eyes… many times, I wonder what the Truth that I see has any relation to the truths that exist in this world.

Like, think about it.

Just like Tia's purity that even I could not see with my eyes, just like the very concept of purity that is something simple and something I should have been able to see with my eyes, isn't visible to me.

"He isn't a good person, or a pure person."

Eon hides a lot of things.

He shows his true self to the others but he hides his true nature from me many times as well, so the possibility that the others would know more about his true self is simply much lower than what the others could possibly imagine.

"I can't endure him, I don't and I cannot either. Even if you don't think about it, he's a bastard that will always annoy you with his little, True, unbearable sides.

After being with him for a while, you will find it hard to detach yourself from me… from his eyes, his touch… his food.

He's like demons, those who embody seduction."

By nature, Demons are more pure than angels. They don't hide what they are, even when they are wearing a disguise walking in the physical world where they do not belong.

Angels attract by nature and have to hide their charm, but demons? They don't hide behind a mask to hide their true self.

They simply disguise themselves, change their appearance, change their names, and they still live among the humans, walk in sun basked streets, and they still seek destruction.

Unlike Rakshasas, they are true to their nature.

They plot complex plans, they execute them with perfection, they spread destruction wherever they go, and they leave no trace that could be traced back to them in their wake…

"He's like them."

I had a warm smile on my face as I said that, and much of it sounded like insults, so they could not really tell whether I was talking shit about him, or was praising him in any manner.

"You two…"

Tia was confused as to what to make of what I was saying.

Zoe was smiling as she found this a little funny coming from me, and Quin had a helpless expression on her face.

The others had a different kind of reaction to what I just said as well…

"You two… are complicated."

Alf was looking at Bell when he saw me smiling like that, while Chry was unknowingly looking at Quin.

Alpha was looking at Luna and she was smirking at him, asking him what he was looking at.

Prince Alph and Ezra had a unique bond already so both of them were wondering about different things that, perhaps, were related to each other as well.

Hide was confused. His face showed he did not understand a thing I had just said. He was making a strange face and I wanted to slap him for it, but I didn't have to do it myself.

-Slap.

Rexie did it in my stand, and then she continued thinking about what I had just said.

'Carla, Tia, Mia, even Prince Claudeus. They were not thinking about what I had just said and were instead looking down at my darling, with a confused look.'

Comparing him to a demon was a little too much from my side, but hearing what I had just said about him made them think about it.

"You all have seen him in light."

They should remember these words.

In the near future, they were going to remember this day, perhaps this food and this expression of mine, and remember what I had said at this moment.

"But he is made of six colours. You have yet to see the other five sides of him."

Even though Carla and Alf knew his 'brother' side, they did not know the others. Even though Mis knew his 'sponsor' side, she wasn't going to know the others, and even though I knew his six sides… he wasn't going to show me the shadows of those six sides… the shadows of his darkness that I have seen until now.

"We aren't going to see each other for a while, but I will advise you all to think about it. Think about the Pureness. And fit a very important fact in your minds…"

I looked at the rest of them with a serious look in my eyes, my eyes focused on a particular person that surprised the rest of them.

"He's the vice captain of Wisdom phoenix, and that means the entirety of wisdom phoenix is going to be under his command."

Vice captains had special roles when it came to major academic activities.

And, they were going to start understanding the true meaning of it when the second year starts.

"Make sure you don't fall behind."

I'm not going to let him have all that he wanted. I am here to be an obstacle in his smooth and clear path as well, so…

"I'm not going to back down."

Zoe can smile as much as she wanted, but if there was going to be a winner anyway… I don't want us to fall behind any more than we have to.

'I'll make sure both of these cheeky bastards understands that.'
