With Dongping City in upheaval, all the hidden forces had their eyes on the Celestial Heavenly Store.

The continuous inflow of people into the store was a scene that had never before occurred in Dongping City.

Hundreds of people trooped into the store all day, without a moment of respite. Against the nefarious Necoris, the legendary superior technique was their only way out.

Right in front of the Celestial Heavenly Store, three people dressed in Mo clan robes entered the store with ingrained pride on their faces.

Prideful as they might be, they still knew how to conceal it under an indifferent expression.

In the lobby, hundreds of people were registering at the guild while others were submitting and taking new missions.

The cycle never ceased, showing the three Mo clansmen the zeal of the people toward the legendary superior technique.

The beautiful lady in the lead watched everything with a fascinated gaze. She only watched for a couple of seconds before she walked to the counter.

Just as the Mo clansmen entered the Celestial Heavenly Store, Zimo stood in front of the City Lord's mansion gate.

When the guards saw him, they ushered him in without asking any questions.

From this, Zimo could tell the city lord had kept his eyes on him, and he couldn't help but chuckle.

While Zimo was entering the City Lord's mansion, all the hidden forces got the news, including the Necoris.

Subconsciously, the tension in the city rose to another level as all the hidden forces deployed their spies inside the city lord's mansion to get a grasp of what would happen there.

Inside the mansion, Zimo was led to a magnificent hall that spoke of luxury. Watching the glistening floor and the expensive murals on the walls, it dawned on him that the city might be on the edge of being invaded by the Necoris, but the city lord seemed unbothered by it.

Just as he was observing the various murals, Zimo heard light footsteps coming from the entrance.

Without turning back, he knew who was coming but did not change his expression and continued to study the murals with fascination.

"Are you interested in the ancient murals?" A thick voice came from behind, filled with confidence and power.

"Perhaps…." Zimo responded, his gaze fixed on the mural depicting a war filled with blood.

The city lord was stunned as he watched Zimo's casual countenance. As the city lord, everyone who encountered him was always nervous, even those who tried to hide it, but none could escape his sharp gaze.

Yet, looking at Zimo, he did not detect any wariness or nervousness. It was as if he were talking to an ordinary man, not the city lord.

"Humph!" A cold snort escaped from the city lord's mouth, and the deep hostility in his heart intensified.

Since Zimo was not going to show him respect, he wouldn't mind tearing away Zimo's pride either. With Zimo inside his mansion, he would make sure he didn't leave unscathed.

Collecting his thoughts, the city lord cleared his throat. "Will you give me face and sell the superior technique to me? For the superior technique, you can ask for anything, and I'll grant it to you."

Even though it seemed he was asking, his tone was domineering, leaving no room for negotiation.

When Zimo heard the city lord, a slight smile appeared on his face, and he turned.

"Now I understand why you summoned me." Zimo stared directly into his eyes and added, "Sorry to disappoint you. If you want the superior technique, you must join the guild and complete missions like everyone else."

The city lord did not expect Zimo's cold and direct response. He had prepared for a long negotiation, only to be rejected.

For a moment, the hall descended into pin-drop silence as they stared at each other. Finally, the city lord broke the silence.

"Do you really want to go against me?"

Instantly, he unleashed his cultivation, and a powerful aura filled the hall, trying to press down on Zimo.

Unfortunately for him, it was all for naught.

Zimo stared at him as if he were looking at a fool.

A gasp escaped from the city lord's mouth when his aura failed to have any effect on Zimo. He squinted and increased the pressure, but it was all futile.

Filled with shock and confusion, various thoughts flashed through his mind, but he was unwilling to believe an ordinary human could withstand his pressure.

As a Master Martial Artist, his aura alone was enough to suffocate an ordinary person into fainting, but here they were.

With his full aura of a Master Martial Artist on display, the city lord couldn't believe what was happening in front of him.

From his men, he knew Zimo had defeated a group of black-robed figures in an ambush, but he hadn't thought much of it.

But now, he realized this unassuming young man was far from ordinary. Just as various conflicting thoughts flashed through his mind, he heard Zimo's calm voice.

"Are you done?"

Shocked!

The city lord widened his eyes, words failing to come out of his mouth. This was the first time he had been in such a situation since becoming a Master Martial Artist.

Watching Zimo's calmness irked him, and he let loose his anger.

"I don't know what trick you used to evade my aura, but if you think it ends there, you're mistaken." His voice rose a couple of octaves, his eyes bloodshot with anger.

"Tyrant Fist!"

Whoosh!

He disappeared from his spot, cutting through the air as he threw a powerful punch that seemed to shatter the void.

When he saw Zimo not reacting, a look of disdain flashed across his face as he anticipated teaching this puny human the lesson of his life.

But what happened next woke him from his fantasy.

Bang!

A terrifying slap hit his face, sending him flying. He crashed into the wall, and a couple of teeth escaped from his mouth, blood gushing out.

On his face was a deep palm print, showing the impact of Zimo's slap.

Everything happened in a blink, leaving no room for the city lord to comprehend what had just occurred.

His fuzzy head took a couple of seconds to recalibrate. With a fast-pounding heart, he looked at Zimo as if he were looking at a monster.

That single slap was unlike anything he had ever experienced in his life.

Zimo turned and looked at him, saying word for word, "That's your last warning."

With that, he left the hall with both hands behind his back.

Watching Zimo's departing figure, the city lord shook his head and struggled to get back on his feet, his face marred with deep-seated hatred.

"Previously, I only wanted the superior technique, but now... I won't rest until I destroy you and your store."
