Yugioh Card Summoner

CH.555 Good Master Changes

CH.555 Good Master Changes

Now with the tournament over, I was back to my regular daily schedule.

… Yeah no. No I’m not. I wish.

Because of the two things that happened at the end of the tournament, the clan partnership with the Wild Pack and the reveal of the Magical Arms skill, I was busy.

Luckily Unika took care of most of the Wild Pack stuff, so I didn’t have to worry about that too much, but I still ended up flying over to the Wild Pack’s lands a few times. And after the second, I just asked Indigo for a room or space where I could set up a teleport seal, so I can use Teleport to Seal to get there instead. Because while flying is fast, teleportation is faster. Some might say instant.

Indigo supplied me with such a space, so now if I had to visit, I just chanted a spell and teleported.

Speaking of Indigo, her duel disk. The inactive version of it is a red bracer, styled after Laquari’s bracers. The active duel disk on the other hand looked like Octavius’ wing, except that it has red feathers that fit with the Laquari bracer. But the lime green outer edge really popped with the red.

As for the special features, Indigo’s duel disk can project an extra pair of wings onto her back. Indigo already has her regular wings, as she is a winged wolf-kin, but her duel disk can give her an extra pair that look like the wings of Gladiator Beast Alexander. They also appear on Gladiator Beast's Respite.

The extra pair of wings allows Indigo to not just fly faster, but also turn sharper and use her projected wings for defense.

Keeping on with the Wild Pack stuff, as I decided, I was going to show them both Level Up! and my Rank-Up-Magics.

Spoiler

Level Up was used on Indigo, and I promised to give her a few copies as soon as she got her Card Summoner to level 3 and unlocked the deck feature.

I used a Rank-Up-Magic, specifically Barian’s Force, on Luna, my moon owl. … what? You forgot her? Don’t blame you, I don’t summon her often. So Luna evolved from a moon owl, a C-rank monster, to a Full Moon Owl. … which is considered just a variant of the moon owl and is still a C-rank monster. But next Luna should evolve into a B-rank, so that will be a bigger change.

Speaking of Ranking Up, I did also rank up Rani. She went from a D-rank war horse to a D-rank magic horse. Yeah, she also stayed in the same letter rank, but that is just what sometimes happens.

But Rani can now use some magic. And because I’ve always used Numeron Force on her, she is using Light Magic. Yes, it was my goal, as I do have a final goal in mind for Rani. She will be getting one more Numeron Force, and then I’ll trade over to a different Rank-Up-Magic.

Now, the other ‘problem’. Magical Arms.

I got more than a little flack from the sages because I didn’t tell them I was working on a new skill with an angel. But I just told them I wasn’t allowed to share that, and that I was to tell my Magical Arms was a Unique skill until it was ready to be revealed.

That was actually a half-lie. I now have asked for permission from the System Agents, so I now know I can share new skills I’m working on, and I can even have people emulate those new skills in the Factory. I can’t give anyone a prototype skill though, except those who already have a System Support, as their System Support can gather data on how they use the skill. So yeah. Alice, Lua, Cailie and Wilma all got themselves the Manamorphic Body prototype skill.

But yeah. Because of the reveal, I not only wrote a full report on Magical Arms, how to learn it, its advantages and disadvantages compared to Telekinesis, as well as just general tips and tricks I’ve learned with the skill.

But I also wrote a report on Manamorphic Body, and god that one was long. Manamorphic Body is a mess. Not by itself, but just the way it interacts with other skills and the System. I can definitely see why it is taking so long for the System Agents to bug check the skill.

But back to Magical Arms, as it was actually released. On HomeBase, Alice, Lua, Ria, Wilma, Cailie, Unika, Einar and Olia all got the skill when it was revealed.

Most of them make sense, but I still question Olia. She learns difficult skills like Mana Flight and now Magical Arms, and then she uses them to clean better, cook faster or give better massages. Just … she is the ‘dense protagonist’ who doesn’t realize how overpowered she is.

Okay, calling her overpowered is wrong, as she really isn’t, but still. The fact that the Sages wonder how she can use stuff like Mana Flight and Magical Arms at the same time proves that she doesn’t realize that what she is doing is actually quite impressive.

Like sure, I can do that, but I’m the cheat protagonist who literally cheats the System. You can’t compare other people to me. It just wouldn’t be fair.

Also, Ria with Magical Arms is unfair. Yeah, I’m complaining about it, but she is. On the first day of having the skill she figured out how to make her Magical Arms out of fire, so she was coming at me with burning fists in our practice spars. And it didn’t feel good.

I’ll end up getting the Fire Resistance skill because of that. … not that that is a bad thing, but still. I don’t like getting punched by a burning magical fist.

As I was just relaxing in my office, something strange happened.

Stern, or as you might also know her, Chamber Dragonmaid, had just brought me some tea and sweets, by the way, I got her dragon form thanks to Tinkhec, aka. Kitchen Dragonmaid.

So there I was, drinking tea and enjoying sweets as a bunch of System screens popped up. At first I assumed some crazy incident happened and I got like 7 different missions at the same time, but luckily that wasn’t the case.

Instead, a bunch of mission rewards popped up at the same time.

… so yeah. That happened. And now I’m questioning why.

Like I don’t mind, I really don’t. But I didn’t do anything. All of that just popped up.

I have a feeling the System Agents, or whoever gave me the mission, fucked it up originally and had the ‘affection needed’ score be way too high and now they adjusted it down a bit.

And because of that, multiple people who were on the gasp of getting to the required level instantly went over it, and I got eight rewards at the same time.

Well, whatever. People make mistakes, even angel-like System Agents.

The Novel will be updated first on this website. Come back and continue reading tomorrow, everyone!
