Woke up as a Worthless Swordsmanship Genius

Chapter 4

Episode 4

When I opened my eyes, I saw a wizard managing the gate of the Magic Tower.

“welcome. Mr. Raymond.”

I nodded and said hello.

The wizard looked surprised at the action, which may have seemed a bit arrogant.

“I came to take class.”

“This is Lecture Room 4.”

“Lecture Room 4… Okay.”

I said a light hello and passed by him.

The stinging sensation in the back of my head made me feel like the wizard was looking at me.

It wasn’t something I had experienced once or twice, so I ignored those looks and walked on.

‘It’s really big.’

The Magic Tower was not called the Magic Tower for nothing.

Although it was large in size, it was a building that contained all the essence of current magic, so there were magical elements here and there.

‘There’s also a crazy elevator.’

This wasn’t even in the novel.

Out of curiosity, I walked towards it.

How does this move?

“If it rolls with magic… I guess it’s fly magic.”

Although I read novels, I knew nothing practical about magic.

Tsk. As I clicked my tongue and turned around, people dressed as apprentice wizards came rushing in.

“Isn’t it Raymond? As expected, you attended this year as well.”

“….”

What are these guys again?

I looked at the apprentice wizard who was standing in the lead and talking to me.

Contrary to his welcoming tone, there was disdain in his eyes.

I’ve seen those eyes before. These are the eyes of the main actor who sees me playing a minor role.

Eyes that completely ignore me.

It was an incredible shame to grow up as the only child of a famous magic family for 17 years and still be a first-circle wizard.

‘Is it my fault that I don’t have the slightest talent?’

It’s not my fault that I don’t have talent.

But it gets annoying when you ignore it like this.

I want to crush that face with those eyes that ignore me.

Wow. I clenched my fist. I wanted to go on a rampage here, but I just lowered my clenched fist.

Even if you make a mess, there is no Ellis by your side to sort it out.

Even if you do something, it becomes quite annoying if you can’t clean it up afterwards.

Acting like an idiot doesn’t mean you’re going to be an idiot.

The most annoying thing was the specifications.

“Raymond, you must have been especially looking forward to this year, right?”

“Of course, Beatrice is coming today and giving a lecture.”

The apprentice wizards were chattering away.

If they were going to talk among themselves, why did they call me over?

‘Beatrice…’

Beatrice Skylar.

He is from another magical family, the Skylar family.

She was 18 years old, the same age as Raymond, but she was already close to reaching the fourth circle.

Even though I had no particular purpose for magic, she was the reason I visited the Magic Tower today.

‘You have to figure out what kind of person he is.’

The main character of the novel ‘Master of Talent’ tries to destroy the entire world in the latter part of the story.

It begins with the kingdom where Raymond and Beatrice live.

He starts a rebellion with the goal of reforming the kingdom, and more than half of the families fall to him.

Meanwhile, it was Count Skylar who stayed and tried to protect the kingdom until the end.

In particular, Beatrice, despite being a 5th circle mage at the time, blocked the protagonist from the very front and was killed by the protagonist.

‘I was robbed of my talent.’

If Raymond is not even remotely talented in magic, Beatrice is the opposite.

Although he has tremendous talent for magic, his physical ability cannot keep up with it, so he is still stuck in the 3rd circle.

Beatrice grew up to realize after a long time that her talent was so great that her body could not keep up, but it was not enough to fight against the protagonist.

And of course, her talent for magic serves as nourishment for the protagonist’s growth.

“In the end, I have to get Beatrice to my side.”

Eventually, you will bump into the main character.

If the main character sees me, he will try to kill me, and later on he will try to destroy the world.

In order to survive, the protagonist had to be stopped.

‘I attract people who can stop the main character to my side.’

That was the direction created over the past few days.

Create your side, build forces, and block the main character.

There aren’t many options.

First of all, in order to survive, you must create a force to protect, and later you must stop the protagonist from trying to destroy the kingdom.

There wasn’t much I could do right now.

If there is a hint, who can stand on the other side of the main character and fight?

And who is the most talented among them? Just about that much.

‘I have a talent for swordsmanship.’

A talent for swordsmanship that is superior to anyone else that the protagonist will continue to use in the future.

Raymond has that talent, but his mere talent for swordsmanship is not enough to stop the protagonist.

In the end, he will kill other beings in some way and steal their talents.

It took people as talented as Raymond to stop him.

‘It started with Beatrice.’

I walked among other apprentice wizards.

It’s fortunate that they are also on their way to lecture room 4.

Otherwise, I would have had to ask others for directions.

As I sat down in the front seat, I felt other people’s eyes on me.

“Hey, that idiot.”

“Wow… you’re still in the 1st circle? “If it were me, I would have stuck my nose in the plate and died.”

“I came again this year. It’s really amazing. “I guess you want to raise your circle even though you’re a bitch.”

“You must be embarrassed too. “But even though he’s the son of a magic tower lord, he’s still in the 1st circle.”

Tendons appeared on my forehead as I heard the two men and women talking.

I tried to avoid doing anything bothersome as much as possible, but my body responded on its own.

If he had endured this much, he had crossed the limit of what he could endure as an exemplary motherfucker.

But at the same time, a feeling of fear emerged from deep within my heart.

These were Raymond’s feelings in this body, not mine.

‘Are you so scared that you only behaved rudely towards your subordinates?’

pathetic.

Just because you’re scared of something like this, you’re probably being called incompetent.

He is a man with a wrong mentality.

I sigh. I turned around and looked at them.

[‘The nameless god’ watches in anticipation as a new event occurs.]

This is…

a phrase floating in the air. It bothered me a lot, but I had to focus on those guys now.

“hey.”

“…?”

“Say it again.”

“…huh? “Raymond, are you talking to us?”

“Oh, try saying again what you just said.”

He spoke harshly and stood up.

Grumble.

The quiet sound of a chair being dragged.

The attention of everyone in the classroom was focused.

Showing interest in something that happens suddenly.

“Haha… Mr. Raymond, what did we say… are you asking me to tell you?”

I laugh when I see this guy smiling and talking awkwardly.

These guys were ultimately similar to the original Raymond.

They talk loudly behind the scenes, but are actually afraid to come forward.

“headsman.”

Cold voice.

My heart grows cold at the sound of that voice.

The muscles wriggle with slight tension and are ready to move at any time.

When I try to fight, my body seems to react automatically.

“Hook?”

The female apprentice mage made a small noise, probably surprised by my cold voice.

The male apprentice wizard was also seen flinching slightly.

The awkward smile showed that he was nervous.

“Raymond, there seems to be some misunderstanding.”

“Do you think I’m an asshole? “Where are you making ridiculous excuses?”

“….”

“You idiot, 1st circle talentless. It’s all true, though. “Because I’m not an asshole.”

I moved my shoulders and relaxed my muscles.

The female apprentice wizard gently grabbed the arm of the man standing next to her.

Still, did he gain the courage he had never had before a woman?

The male apprentice wizard raised his eyes and glared at me.

“If you keep speaking rudely to us in public places like this, we won’t be able to stay silent.”

“What if I can’t stay still? Oh, are you going to use that fancy magic? Then I can’t stay still either. You said very insulting things to me in a public place like this. is not it?”

I took a quick look around.

Everyone kept their mouths shut and remained silent.

Until now, they have implicitly made fun of him and ignored him as Raymond.

They must have realized by now that Raymond was different from usual.

You wouldn’t have guessed that a guy who had no talent and was a troublemaker in his family would suddenly show up like this.

What kind of calculation was made?

The apprentice wizard faced me head on.

“They say bugs squirm when you step on them, and the current situation is exactly that.

He spoke to the apprentice wizards inside as if what he said was correct.

Even though I said this, you still behave like that.

Should I say it’s amazing? Should I call him stupid?

You may notice to some extent the change in my appearance.

“You idiot and untalented. I admitted it to myself… “

“Ah. shut up. “If you want to use magic, use it, or if you’re scared, just keep quiet.”

The apprentice wizard is already raising his arms and preparing to use magic.

He probably did this even though he knew that if he used magic right in front of him, there was a risk of serious injury even if it was only 1-circle elemental magic.

“Ha… let’s see for real…”

The apprentice wizard eventually wrinkled his face and moved his mana.

Red energy gathered around the guy’s arm.

It looks like he wants to use fire magic.

Even though magic was about to unfold right in front of me, my heart was still.

“Pa….”

The guy moved his body as he was about to shout the starter word.

I quickly crawled towards the guy’s body and hit him on the chin with my fist.

”Then…boo!”

If you can’t shout the starter word, no matter how hard you prepare, it’s all a waste.

I laughed at him.

“You idiot. “Why are you trying to use magic when the enemy is right in front of you?” The

first thing you learn about magic is how to increase the distance between your opponent and the enemy.

He didn’t even have the basics.

Wow.

I hit the guy in the chest.

“Ugh.”

The mana that had gathered in the arm of the guy who fell backwards with a groan was immediately dispersed.

I swung my fist again at the fallen guy’s face.

“Shield!”

A chanting sound came from behind, and a shield was created in front of the apprentice wizard.

Pop!

I felt a slight pain from the hand that hit the shield.

He slightly narrowed his eyes and stood up to check on the person who had cast the shield.

“What are you doing? “Now?”

A cold voice was heard, and as soon as I could see my face, my face relaxed.

Red-tinged hair and ruby-like eyes.

It was like looking at a beautiful jewel.

“Beatrice.”

Beatrice Skylar.

The reason I came here was to stand there.
