Chapter 345: Avenger

A bright future. 

Under Governor Isao, the city moved in the right direction, and all of them were filled with vitality and spirit, thinking about the change and growth of this city. While many were killed by Isao, all of them blamed Dionysus for it as they didn't dare to get angry at Isao.

Moreover, wasn't it natural for them to unleash their emotions on those evils?

This name might be simple, but the meaning of this name was overbearing since, in this generation, no one could be his opponent, and all of them were eclipsed by him. 

While Hestia and all of his women were happy, naturally, some were happy, and that included Dionysus, who had been hiding in the man-made dungeon, running away between his tails like a coward. 

"BASTARD! BASTARD! IDIOT! YOU ARE ALL BRAINLESS! HOW DARE YOU NAME YOURSELVES THE ECLIPSE! WHAT A LOSER! YOU ARE ALL IDIOT!" 

No one knew how long Dionysus had been angry, but the moment he heard about Isao's achievement and happiness, he cursed all the time and never stopped. If there was alcohol, it would be better since that way, he could numb himself, making himself better quickly, but there was none, so all he could do was just destroy everything within his surroundings, but as there was nothing except for walls and floors in this room, he could do nothing except for stomping the ground. 

However, as the ground was made from a legendary metal, adamantite, he quickly stopped his actions since his body started to get hurt, so in the end, except for roaring, he could do nothing to release his incompetent rage. 

"Hahaha... you are like a loser now, Dionysus. You are a loser." 

Yet, even if Dionysus was like this, Thanatos, the head of the Evilus group, laughed happily. 

Unlike his previous elegant and charming appearance, Dionysus was all in a mess, like a homeless, completely dirty and haggard from the blow given by Isao. All the plans he had set up proudly were destroyed, and all of his pawns, even his strongest one, Filvis, were stolen from him! 

If Dionysus could remain sane, then it would be amazing! 

Yet, even so, Thanatos laughed happily since he was a bad guy, and having someone who proudly controlled them beforehand, hiding in the dark, come out and join them pitifully, how could he not be happy? 

"SHUT UP, THANATOS! THINK OF SOMETHING TO CHANGE OUR SITUATION?! DO YOU WANT TO REMAIN ON THIS PLACE FOREVER?! DON'T YOU WANT TO BRING ALL THE HUMAN TO THE HEAVEN BY DEATH?!" 

Dionysus was enraged, but Thanatos was as calm as ever. "Then, what can we do? You should know how powerful he is. You have seen how he can drop that large rock from space, right? More importantly, it seems that he also has a way of making people escape from the control of your wine." 

Frankly, even Thanatos had to admit how ruthless and amazing Dionysus was. 

Using wine to control every deity and adventurer, including the guild, to be under his control, then uses all of them to fight Isao, the nemesis of all of them, before letting the two sides fight each other until death. 

This was a great plan! 

This was an amazing plan! 

Even Thanatos had to be in awe of Dionysus' madness, but even with all of those plans, Dionysus still failed, and Isao simply destroyed everything with his power directly before rising even higher. 

Dionysus used his divine power and even used all of the adventurers in the Orario, yet in the end, he still failed. 

More importantly, Thanatos had a feeling that Isao would continue to grow stronger. 

So, what could Thanatos do? 

Thanatos hardly did anything, and he just stayed in the underground dungeon most of the time. More importantly, many of his strong fighters had been defeated. While it was possible for him to use his Divine Power, unlike Dionysus, that could be subtle, his Divine Power was impossible to be used in such a way, and the moment he used it, he would be kicked out from the lower world directly. 

With all of those factors, were they even the point of their struggle? 

Everything they did would result in a defeat! 

Yet, even Thanatos knew that he didn't say all of that to his followers and just expressed his doubt to Dionysus. 

Dionysus also knew this, but he felt that Thanatos was just a coward! 

"You coward! Follow me! I will bring destruction, disaster, and calamity to this world again! More importantly, I will kill him! I will kill that idiot who thinks that he can challenge the deity!" 

"Do you still have another plan?" Thanatos asked curiously. 

"Yeah, let's go to the 59th Floor and use everything to destroy Oraria." Suddenly, Dionysus grinned and said, "He has become a governor now. In other words, this city and its people are a subject that he needs to protect! However, what if we attack all of them? His life or Orario? Let's see what he will do, shall we?" 

Thanatos smiled happily and said, "You know what? You should come to us early! Come on! Come on! Let's destroy Orario!" 

Watching Thanatos, who became excited, Dionysus only snorted since everyone except for himself was his pawn, and by using all of his pawns, he would destroy everything that Isao cared about! 

Yet, what Dionysus didn't know was that Isao was waiting for Dionsyus to unleash the monster that could help him become even stronger.
