Twin Soul

Chapter 5: (4/8)

Chapter 5: (4/8)

Aber yelled out loud, Jaane, evacuate everyone around here so I can use [Ice Nova].

[Ice Nova], level 25 Ice spell that will create an explosion wave from the caster. The caster will be unharmed but all within the radius of the [Ice Nova] will be frozen. The radius of [Ice Nova] will depend on how strong the caster is.

Jaane listened and started to evacuate all the annoying people who were watching instead of running as far as possible. Perhaps they were confident that the Mages here can protect them, or they just wanted to watch a Blood Mage get executed publicly regardless of the dangers. You know, idiots are gonna be idiots. Anyway, people started to slowly walk away in anger as they argued with Jaane.

A minute later, they could have seen a very bright white aura appear from Aber. Three seconds after that, a loud explosion was heard and frozen everything within twenty thousand square feet radius including the Monster, as well as the Twin Soul child. If the annoying idiots were still standing there, they could have been frozen as well.

Standing next to the Ice Guardian, Aber smiled as he saw how powerless the frozen Monster was against his mighty power. What? Did you cry? I didnt know a Monster as you could cry. Aber said in a mocking voice as he saw frozen tears on the Monsters eyes.

The Flesh Monster was frozen. The Twin Soul child was also frozen and soon they will die. Just to be sure, Aber casted [Ice Spear] twenty times and twenty floating Ice Spears started flying around him waiting for his command.

Hmm? Aber saw a floating blood pool starting to form near the Flesh Monster. What is this? Aber asked himself.

Six seconds later, the blood pool splashed on the Monster and freed it out of its frozen form. The blood pool then moved toward the Twin Soul child to do the same for her.

[Sanguine Tide], level 11 Blood spell. A floating blood pool will be automatically formed near the caster to free him/her and/or allies from any negativity effect statuses including burning or frozen within the next ten minutes of being casted.

The Flesh Monster repeatedly slammed its hands on Aber as his Ice Guardian continued spamming [Ice Barrier] on him. Aber thought for a second and then commanded his twenty floating Ice Spears to fly toward the Twin Soul child. The Monster casted [Warding Wind] on the child to reflect all the Ice Spears. However, [Ice Spear] is different from [Fireball] because it will actively listen to its caster instead of flying stupidly toward enemies. All the reflected Ice Spears quickly gained control, and then it flew back toward the child to kill her. The Monster ignored Aber and ran toward the child to protect her as it had learned that the [Warding Wind] would not be strong enough to repeatedly reflect those Ice Spears.

The Flesh Monster casted [Gust] near Abers location and then casted [Whirlwind] to create a powerful whirlwind in that area. Aber did not worry much about this as his Ice Guardian will continue to spam [Ice Barrier] to protect him regardless of how many the whirlwind will suck him up and then slam him down. Knowing Aber will be busy for a while, the Monster used its body to block all twenty Ice Spears which caused tremendous damage to its body. Even so, the Flesh Monster quickly recovered all of its body parts using the blood pool inside its Blood Ring. Tapped into the blood pool of the Blood Ring, the Monster realized it was near depletion. Grabbed the Twin Soul girl, the Monster casted [Wind Walk] to fly away.

Suddenly a Thunder Eagle blocked its path while casting [Thunder Strike] on the Monster. Then another five Thunder Eagles appeared to casted [Thunder Strike]. The Blood Ball shot out countless Iron Spikes which killed two Thunder Eagles before it went empty and faded away. After forty-eight [Thunder Strike] spells were casted on the Monster by the remaining four Thunder Eagles, the Monster fell on the ground as it transformed back to the female Blood Mage while she continued to hold the Twin Soul girl to prevent her from being injured.

Miss Miss The Twin Soul girl repeatedly called the Blood Mage but she could no longer answer. She was still alive but too weak to say anything. The blood pool inside her Blood Ring was depleted. Therefore, she had no strength left to continue the fight. Her mana was depleted a long time ago and now she couldnt cast any more spells.

Laying on the ground, the Blood Mage used the last of her energy to softly whisper, Sorry Im too weak. I ca cant...protect you.

The Twin Soul girl cried out loud and said, Miss Miss. as she saw the guards surrounded them. She knows those guards will kill her and this Blood Mage who have attempted to save her. Her parents walked away from her the moment the crystal exploded on her hands. She couldnt understand why her parents walked away from her and never looked back while the guards wanted to kill her. If it was not for this Blood Mage, she would have been killed. The Twin Soul child did not know what to do except crying. She cried out loud without knowing who to call for help as she saw everyone surrounding her just wanted her dead. The only one who wanted to save her could no longer do anything.

Jaane asked Vicenzo, Professor Biersack, why are they trying to kill that girl?

Vincenzo was the one that casted [Conjure Thunder Eagle] six times to conjure the six Thunder Eagles and commanded them to block the Blood Mage from escape using [Wind Walk] earlier. If they dont kill that child, she will grow up to become another Blood Mage. As you saw how that Blood Mage turned into a Monster and wanted to kill everyone here. Blood Magic is the root of all evil. Twin Soul children were born with the ability to learn Blood Magic and any Elemental Magic of their choices. Blood Magic required human blood to train. You have no idea how many people they have killed to get enough blood for their own advancements. If you see any Twin Soul children in the future, execute them before they have a chance to grow up.
