Transmigrating as an Extra Third-Rate Villain

As the three quickly descended downwards into the vault, Ren suddenly felt a pair of eyes locked onto his back.

Readying himself, Ren grimaced before pulling up his dirty school executive shirt, covering his face in dirt and dry blood.

And if that wasn't enough, Ren also manifested physical pieces of corruption and spread them across his face to imitate scars.

Finally, to cover his most identifiable trait: his blood-red eyes.

Thankfully, all Ren needed was a pair of prescription glasses that blocked his eye color from being seen.

A couple of seconds later, both Zeng and Raven were standing beside him, each of them with their attitudes changed and posture correct.

Leading the group, Ren turned around and began walking toward the center of the vault, immediately making eye contact with the recruiter, who was holding a spear.

Not faltering, Ren maintained eye contact until, finally, the recruiter asked.

"And, who are you three?"

Of course, the spear-using recruiter had seen their uniform, so he knew that they were supposed to be executives.

Yet, for some unknown reason, perhaps establishing dominance, he had still asked the obvious question.

It was like going to a pizza shop and asking if they sold pizza.

Of course they did!

Shaking his head, Ren showed no irritation at the question and instead emotionlessly replied.

"The principal sent us to protect the vault...however, upon arrival, we noticed that there was already a breach in the vault."

"The top portion of the obsidian door was open and led directly into the vault, so of course, we came to investigate."

"And here we are, now."

Not allowing the spear-using recruiter to ask another question, Ren immediately questioned.

"And who might you be? As far as we know, nobody is supposed to be in this vault...no matter status or fame."

Not trying to hide the fact that he had his hand on one of his weapons, Ren smiled and looked directly at the spear-using recruiter.

Twirling around the pitch-blue spear in his hand, the recruiter hesitated before saying.

"We were also assigned to protect the vault; however, like you, we also noticed a breach and came to investigate."

Pretending to look around at the vault with an awestruck expression, Ren pointed at the main cast, who was a couple of feet away, and asked.

"Those students are with you?"

Nodding his head, Zeng silently examined the three "reinforcements" from the principal before asking.

"Where are the rest of you? I doubt the prince would only send three people to protect this vault."

Having already expected the question, Ren nodded his head before immediately replying.

"The three of us here possess special movement abilities that allowed us to bypass the steel slab that was blocking the entrance."

"The others should be here within a couple of minutes, I would assume."

Interrupting the two conversations, the main cast, Astrid and Kaneki, suddenly walked over with a confused expression while pointing at Ren, Raven, and Zeng.

Seeing their expressions, Zeng turned around and said.

"They say they're part of the reinforcement that the principal sent to protect the vault.

As Zeng looked at Astrid with a questioning expression, Ren took the moment and immediately turned around.

Ren had to show that they were equals and that the recruiters and students couldn't just order them around.

Not at all minding the gazes of the students and recruiters, Ren walked towards the shelves nearby and protected to explore the vault.

Following closely behind him, Raven and Zeng also looked at the shelves and room with a curious expression, not daring to touch anything.

As the three of them were aimlessly wandering the vault, Kaneki kept a hand on his katana while keeping his gaze locked on them.

On the other hand, Lily stepped forward without a care for the reinforcements and said.

"I've examined the vault's seal, and there's nothing off right now. But keep your guard up; he's managed to sneak into the vault without us noticing... so he could have a way to bypass the magic seal as well."

Since Lily had explained that the vault was actually a defense system with a seal to protect something unknown, the main cast and recruiters nodded their heads in relief.

*RUMBLE*

"Looks like everyone is here! But...I'm afraid there's not enough socializing. Perhaps I should do something...to spice it up."

Unable to hold in his words at the sudden voice, Ren muttered.

"Is this guy a game show host or just fucking delusional!?"

This wasn't some school summer camp where the teachers had to force the students to interact with each other!

It was the future most powerful people in the world in a vault that contained a beast capable of destroying the academy and capital city.

Creating an image of an insane person in his head and assigning it to the voice, Ren glanced at the main cast.

They...had completely forgotten about Ren and company.

Instead, all of them were huddled up while secretly talking.

Gesturing to Raven and Zeng, Ren walked up behind them before waiting for an opening and saying.

"Looking at your expressions, I assume you've heard that voice before. Do you have any information that you could share?"

"The owner of this voice must be an intruder in the vault, so we must take him out at all costs!"

Kevin, visibly angry at the interruption, glared at Ren before responding.

"Screw off, will you? We don't n-"

Before Kevin could finish his harsh words, Alya immediately stepped forward and, in a kind voice, interrupted.

" *ahem* Excuse my friend...we are just currently discussing. Once we are done, we'll share our findings and plan. If you could please just wait a moment." Continue reading at empire

Nodding his head, Ren took a glance at the wall with the seal and Lily, confirming nothing was wrong.

Walking away from the main cast with his two teammates, Ren grimaced as he heard the words "bait" and "dogshit" pop up multiple times.
