The Strongest Assassin Reincarnates in Another World

Aiden crossed the portal and immediately opened his Status. He wanted to see what had changed. He wanted to see what he had gotten from meeting one of the five Gods.

He still couldn't believe that such a peak of power existed. However, he was happy to have discovered it right away as he now had a much bigger goal than before.

The founding families would be nothing more than child play compared to defeating the five Gods. It would be terribly complicated to beat them. However, defeating them would take a lot of time, and more importantly a lot more strength, which meant that Aiden would have to do two different things.

First of all, he would have to go into as many trials as possible, accomplishing them as fast as he could. By doing this, he would level up and become stronger as a result. And then he would have to learn everything that Jake knew about Qi because, as far as he had seen, Jake was the only one on Nova who had mastered such an energy.

'Actually…can't I have access to better teachers?' Aiden thought as he remembered a System Function that he had unlocked.

The power to go back to all the worlds he had previously taken a trial on.

Wouldn't he be able to go back to the world where Cultivation was such a major part of it?

'I had even warned Wu Lan, Li Feng's wife, about my return under the name of the Reaper. If she remembers, she should help me as best as she can, right? After all, I know all her weaknesses in the bed… The only thing I'll have to be careful of will be Li Feng; if he was conscious when I took over his body, then the only desire he'll have will be to kill me as fast as possible.'

Either way, as Aiden was having all those thoughts, he focused back on the system and what he had received.

'Right?! The things I get from the system are always based on the experiences that I go through. So, it makes a lot of sense to receive something like this. Though, how many points do I have in that stat?'

All this was nice and all, but if this was another statistic that he would have to grow on top of the others…he wasn't sure if this was positive or negative. After all, he knew that he had a lot of will when it came down to a lot of things.

'124?!' Aiden shouted in his mind when he saw the number.

He couldn't believe it. This was the highest stat and by a large margin.

'Did what happened at the end with Ariel cause this? Is that because of the kiss? Is it because I managed to resist all her advances that were thrown in my direction?'

Aiden was extremely confused about all this. However, a little smile formed itself onto his lips. He felt amazing, totally amazing.

'If only the rest of my stats could have grown that much…'

Most of his stats were starting to get close to 50. However, [Will] was basically the double of that.

'Isn't there a way to make my stats increase crazy fast?' Aiden thought as he looked at Jake, who hadn't said anything just yet. He was just staring at Aiden, seemingly analyzing all his movements.

"Uh? Are you okay?" Aiden asked when he saw that there wasn't any movement coming from him.

"What happened back there? What did she tell you?"

Jake was still shocked at falling under her control. He remembered how it felt, and he didn't want something like that to happen ever again. He felt powerless, as if he could only follow her for the rest of his existence.

He could only thank Aiden for everything that he had done for him. He couldn't remember everything that had happened. However, he remembered Ariel telling him that he was the one who had saved him this time.

"How weren't you affected by her beauty? Did you open your eyes when she asked?"

Jake kept piling up the number of questions as he wasn't letting Aiden answer even a single one of them. It was quite annoying, but there was nothing he could do about it.

After a few seconds of pure panic, he finally closed his mouth and looked at Aiden straight in the eyes, patiently waiting for him to answer all his questions.

"She didn't tell me anything because I refused to look at her, and when she realized I wouldn't do anything… She decided to let me go as if nothing had just happened."

"She let you go? Just like that? Without doing anything at all?"

'Well, she did kiss me,' Aiden thought as his face became red just by thinking of her name.

He could feel himself getting aroused just by thinking of her name.

He wasn't sure yet, but the interactions he had had with her would bring a lot of problems with his current relationship with Emma.

'Will I still find her attractive?' Aiden thought as Jake reminded him of the conversation.

"Hello? Are you still there? Did something happen between the two of you before you left?"

"No, nothing happened. She just let me go after trying to make me fall under her power."

"Hm…" Jake rubbed his chin, thinking about everything that had just happened. "So that's it, you didn't receive anything from her?"

Jake made sure one last time that nothing weird had happened in between the time Ariel had taken control of him.

"Yes. I didn't get anything from anyone. Well, this wasn't all for nothing. I learned a lot of things from this trip to the Lumithar's World. So, thank you for everything!" Aiden exclaimed.
