The Bodyguard System

Silence immediately dominated the room the moment that those words were said. Currently, even though the phone was not on loud speaker, the voice coming from the earpiece of the phone could be heard by the people around.

"According to the information that we received, you were part of the targets of a small group of our mercenary group. That small group took a mission of taking you out, but they failed.

Even though the client is already dead at the moment, we still have to fulfill our end of the deal, considering that the payment was already made. So, we were sent to complete the mission, which is to kill you." This time, the response was immediate.
