Chapter 492 Battle Of Valeant - Trace of Undeath (5)

The moment Darth's Domain engulfed Leon, the situation was flipped on its head. The Shadow God's body vanished and Leon was engulfed by a darkness that his eyes could not pierce no matter how sharp his eyesight was. The Domain of Absolute Shadow brought more to the table than just mere darkness!

Clang!

Leon's body was pushed forward as a strong force clashed with his armor before vanishing. His dulled senses was barely able to pick up an object moving away rapidly before it left the limits of how far his senses stretched within this Domain.

In the next moment, Leon's senses suddenly flared as he felt danger coming at him from every direction. He could only brace himself as a rain of attacks began to smash into his armor from every direction, carrying an immense force with them.

Pieces of Leon's armor chipped off and flew in every direction, and before long, his bones began to withstand the force of the attacks. However, it was much more difficult for his dense bones that were comparable to Divine Equipment to be damaged.

'Tch!' Leon was deeply irritated by the attacks and raised his hand to retaliate, forming a ball of dark purple energy. However, the moment he did so, a much more powerful force slammed into the side of his skull, sending him flying down to the ground and rolling for a longer distance.

Leon's mind was left reeling from the blow while the rain of attacks continued once more. What shocked him, however, was that that single blow had cracked his skull!

'How dare he?!' Leon's rage was instantly roused and the flames in his skull suddenly exploded outwards, seeping out of every crevice in his skull and engulfing his skull, making him looked like a black skeleton with a burning black-purple flame that was eating at his skull.

BOOM!

A mighty pressure that was fueled by Leon's rage suddenly exploded outward and fought against the Domain of Absolute Shadow the surrounded him from every direction. The blows that rained on him also ceased as Darth found himself facing much more power than he was expecting.

BOOM!

Another explosion rang out as Leon's Domain spread out and imposed itself onto the Domain of Absolute Shadow. In the next moment, the darkness that surrounded Leon was dispelled and he was able to see Darth a short distance away. The shadows that were wrapped around his body struggled to cover him, revealing pale gray skin that looked malnourished and weak. His eyes were just black orbs and his skinny face revealed the fear that he was feeling in this moment.

The moment that the Domain of Absolute Shadow was forcibly suppressed by Leon, the darkness that it had conjured was dispelled, allowing others to see what was going on. They were immediately shocked when they saw Darth pressed to the ground and Leon looking like a hellish creature.

Leon walked forward and his exposed bones morphed, forming a new armor around his body. This one was much more domineering. The armor was made from his bones and was carved with many mysterious patterns, but one image that was recurring on the armor was the abundant image of skulls. On each of his shoulders, there was a skull carving with purple-black flames rising from the eyes of the skull. It was the same with his elbows and knees. On his chest, there was one large skull with the light of his Divine Spark shining through the holes of the skull that were there.

Leon gradually walked forward, as if he was not worried that Darth was going to escape the suppression. He soon arrived a short distance away from Darth and simply stretched out his right hand, then Darth's body was drawn into his grasp.

At this time, the fire around Leon's skull had been quenched and Leon's skull was still exposed, leaving the dent that Darth had managed to leave exposed for all to see.

"For this transgression, you die." Leon's words were simple but chilling. Darth immediately felt a fear he had not felt in a long time and he immediately wanted to try to escape, but in the next moment, a powerful suction force came from the large skull on Leon's chest. Darth's body began to turn into wisps of black ash that were drawn into the skull and absorbed by Leon's Divine Spark.

"No! No! NOOOOO!!!" Darth thrashed in Leon's grasp, but Leon's single hand was firm around his head, not allowing Darth to escape from his grasp.

The pathetic and agonizing cries of Darth drew in the attention of many other Gods, causing a few battles to pause, only for the combatants to be shocked at how easily and effortlessly Leon seemed to have dealt with a Peak Minor God.

On the other hand, Leon put most of his focus into absorbing the Divine Spark of Darth. It was not easy, but at this moment where he held the upper hand, he felt that he would be able to handle it.

His will reached deep into Darth's Divine Spark and began to rip it apart piece by piece. If one looked well, then amidst the black ash, one would occasionally be able to see some small shards of shiny black materials. These tiny black shards were the pieces of Darth's Divine Spark.

Normally, absorbing a Divine Spark like so was not easy and was extremely dangerous, but unlike others, Leon had gotten particularly good at this as he had absorbed a lot of shards of Divine Sparks and the Divine Power contained within them when he turned many Gods and celestial being into his summons and part of his Undead Army in the prior months.

As Leon ripped apart Darth's Divine Spark and absorbed it, he suddenly felt a familiar presence in the depths of Darth's Divine Spark and he was taken by surprise.

"What a surprise, Leon Cromwell. You have already grown to this level? We shall meet again soon." The voice of the Paragon of Undeath resounded in Leon's mind before the presence vanished from Darth's Divine Spark.

In the next moment, the Divine Spark exploded into countless pieces that were all absorbed by Leon.

The first casualty of this battle among the Gods!
