Temporal Pearls

Seeing that the conversation was stale, Seth went to his room and left the womb there, then came out to find something to eat.

Filling his stomach and recovering his stamina, Seth began to paint until he fell asleep, during the day he practised Aura and watched the cub hunt and feed.

At night, Seth went out, under the moonlight and went to the next dragon for recon. He needed to know what he was dealing with.

The path he took was the one that has so many ant hills and other hills. His hand holding Rabbit's dragon foot kept his presence hidden from dragons and also listened to his Class Quest Intuition that was guiding him to the next Dragon.

Seth moved very far away from the forest until he could no longer see its silhouette and that was when he saw the range of something. Beyond it was nothing.

He walked but as he came closer he saw two dragons speaking. One had a silver scale with silver metal wings and the other was silver in colour but it darkened a bit and the scales seemed to be swollen. Well, they aren't as flat as other dragons.

~You haven't found her cave, you are useless. I will kill you and activate my voice if you failed to find her within this week~

It was the silver metal dragon commanding the other dragon. Before it spread its wings and a terrifying sound hit the ground which propelled it below the cliff.

The dragon shook its head and looked at the leaving figure before it looked toward where Seth was hiding.

"Shit! It saw me"

Seth wasn't worried much because the dragon might not kill him except if he recognised Seth was special.

Boom!

Dragon released a blast and appeared before Seth and looked at him. Seth's knees trembled and fell to his knees and shouted.

"Greeting, mighty one. Can I leave"

Seth spoke human language for a reason. He will not show that he was by any means special.

Not only that, even his cloak has become completely green with no silver moon and red stripes as he activated Green Cloak Stripe Concealment.

He had learned from Vela that she realized Seth was from Red Valley, which was why she attacked him.

The dragon observed Seth up and down and understood the human might be special. And the reason for that assumption was that his attire improved using crodo hide.

Not to mention the staff is special.

'This dragon has no wings, it looks like Velo without her wings but it's chubby but shorter. What element does this dragon have?''

Seth wanted to know.

But he kept his head down, seeing as if the dragon was looking elsewhere he stood and ran back. Seth knew for sure he couldn't escape the dragon but as a perceived weakling he had to act afraid.

He ran and the dragon didn't pursue him until Seth was seeing Living Root, he began to shout out loud saying, "I live, I escape!"

Right as Seth was about to reach the living root something appeared above him and grabbed his cloak and then…

Kaboom!

The dragon grabbed Seth and released a shock wave and they shot into the sky in unimaginable sound.

Ahhhhhhh!

Seth screeched in panic before he fainted.

This exploration was somewhat of a failure. Seth might have left the womb behind but the truth was he planned to use Mantle and Enslave the dragon and then see if he can make it come back with him. That was the case if he was discovered, if not he would just observe and then run back and prepare more.

But the thing that hindered his plan was another dragon that was hiding in the place. If Seth uses Mantle on the baby dragon, the other dragon will pounce on him. And he will be defenceless.

So, knowing the nature of this creature that aimed at having great first blood, he acted weak like just a stupid adventure human.

Seth opened his eyes and he saw he was in a village. And the dragon was floating above him. It now has wings but unlike other dragons, this one had its scales detached from its body and arranged in a wing shape.

But they are drumming, releasing sound like drums. The dragon doesn't flap them, the scales drum stronger and create shock waves for it to move.

Seth looked around and he saw people come and surround what seemed like an arena. The dragon then drummed up and landed on a large stone watching.

"Welcome to Bell Village. I seem our benefactor has found you wondering"

Seth was surprised as he saw so many players in one place.

"Hello."

more than ten people there boasted into laughing as they looked at his expression. The boy that talked first said, "I'm Zambia. By the look of you, you haven't met players for a long time, right?

"Yes. I'm Seth!"

Seth stared at the man's attire which was Navy blue, he has a drum on his back and two sticks on his thigh.

"Well. Our great dragon doesn't want weakling. I need to test you" Zambia said as he looked at the chubby dragon, and the dragon nodded.

"Okay. What will be the test!"

"Survive!" Suddenly Zambia hit the drum and a sound blast drove toward seth. All this time he has had his shifting armour active. However, even with that, Seth was blasted back.

[Health: Broken Bones]

"Fuck!"

Seth's eyes were bleeding and his bones were cracked. It's not that the shifting armour didn't protect him but it was the sound blast that passed through the services of the armour and still impacted him with injury.

"He survived. Great Blast Dragon!" Zambia bowed toward the dragon. The dragon nodded and then scaled left its body and formed a wing which they drum and he released shock waves that propelled him elsewhere.

'I went to capture a baby dragon, but I was captured by it. And not to mention, the baby dragon was being threatened by another baby dragon with silver metal wings'

Seth kneels and waits for his body to heal but a girl comes and gives him a pellet. He took it, it was a medicine.

Taking it, his cracked bones healed. He stood and said to her "thank you!"

"Seth, right? My name is Juma. Where were you kidnapped from!"

Seth looked around trying to recognise where he was but didn't. "I don't know. It was a forest and there was a cliff close by!"

"Cliff! You came from above there!" She pointed where southeast. Seth looked toward there and far away he saw a silhouette of a raised mountain.

'Damn, I'm far away from home. So this is the North-south of the forest!' Seth thought, he nodded and then stealthy activated Aura Sight.

'Shit! The girl is powerful!'

Juma has a thick pale Aura around her, the edge was some sort of energy bubbling that purifies the air around her. He looked at the other players and he noticed each one of them had some sort of energy around them.

'None of them are simple!' He concluded but as he looked around the village, at the far he saw the aura of the dragon that was hiding when he saw the two dragons.

'It followed me here or what?' He doesn't know. But Seth took a step forward but then he fell down as if exhausted. The truth was he was exhausted but he was now showing weakness just to make the hidden baby dragon assume he was weak. He doesn't want to be the target of Dragon Voice Activation.

"What happened?" Juma frowned and asked. He shook his head and just said he was damned tired.

The players guided him to a house where he ate and also slept. But he couldn't sleep, he just waited for his exertion points to recover fully before he came out of the room.

The sun came up and he saw the village was crowded with NPCs and the dozen players, each one of them has different coloured attire.

There was yellow, green, blue and even ash colour. Seeing him they all smiled and greeted him. Then they went to another house where they ate and a meeting began.

"Great Dragon Blast wanted us to search for something, or to be precise someone. But for now, I will not say anything until our newcomer agrees to help."

Zambia explained as he looked at seth.

"Well, can I reject it?" Seth asked in surprise.

"Of course, we are all human here, the dragon might have captured us but we aren't going to force anyone."

"But tell him the truth. Even if he escapes, the dragon will find him and bring him back! So, unless you have the means to truly evade the dragon, then you don't have a choice!" Juma said.
