Yang Ping merely suggested sending a video for reference without mentioning the source of the video.

After the surgery, Su Nanchen changed his clothes in the changing room, sat down for a break and downloaded the video from his email to his phone.

He was preparing to perform a quadruple reconstruction on his patient, and now he had a quintuple reconstruction video, which seemed perfect for reference.

As he watched the video, Su Nanchen became fascinated. Where did Yang Ping’s surgical video come from? Why couldn’t he find a video like that on his own?

Su Nanchen brought out his collection of similar surgery videos from the New York Special Surgery Hospital, to review it once more, especially those by Professor Robert, a master of sports medicine, which he watched multiple times.

But,the video was not theirs. Objectively speaking, it was somewhat better than theirs.

Out of gratitude, Su Nanchen replied to Yang Ping on WeChat: “Doctor Yang, thank you for your video, it’s of great learning value to me.”

“The surgery was a bit rough, hardly worthy of learning. I hope you could take it as a reference,” Yang Ping said with humility.

This guy has a big mouth. Even if it’s a video of surgery from a world-class expert, he said that the surgery was rough. Su Nanchen didn’t know how to respond. Seems like Yang Ping usually appears humble but has a prideful personality deep down. This pride seems a bit over the top.

“Nanchen, what are you watching?” Professor Guan came into the changing room to change his clothes after his surgery.

Su Nanchen replied, “I’m watching a quintuple reconstruction video.”

Professor Guan seemed interested and came over for a look: “Whose work is this? Someone from the New York Special Surgery Hospital?”

“No, a friend sent it over,” Su Nanchen said truthfully.

The more he watched, the more interested Professor Guan became. These kinds of top-level surgery videos are very precious, often snuck out of the hospitals by doctors who are furthering their studies, and are then shared and studied.

“Could it be from the Tokyo University’s affiliated hospital? This style is quite delicate. It doesn’t look like it’s from a European or American.”

Indeed, the style of the surgery was finer than that of the Americans, but grander than the Japanese, a perfect combination of soft and hard.

Guan Sheng, who has seen a lot and exchanged knowledge with many others, identified it: “It looks like it’s from the Tokyo University’s affiliated hospital.
