Chapter 2418: Helping out



Chetan got excited immediately.

He has seen what Sam has done first hand in the Academy tournament. The solo combat... the whole thing became a huge mess because of Sam alone. He always had a trick up his sleeve no matter how much stronger the opponent is.

"So, you really came. I was thinking that you might not come at all."

"I do have a bone to pick with the Poseidon academy. They sent fifty Telchines to deal with me in the previous planet I was in."

Everyone is stunned. Fifty Telchines is not a small force. It is not easy to deal with them. Even if their group of ten went ahead and attacked, it will take some effort to bring those Telchines down. Assuming they are all at the peak stage, they are wondering how Sam even made it out alive.

Their expansion is also happening in a circular fashion. Basically, their forces or rather the small bases set up, when connected together will form a circle.

Inside this circle, there are obviously several settlements, like villages, sects and organizations. They are all occupied by the mercenaries and Poseidon forces.

Along with this systematic expansion, they created a perfect defense that is working for them. First of all, the forces in the outer circle created barriers. They blocked every known path into the circles. Of course, it is not possible to block it completely, but they put a system in place. And Sam is very familiar with the system.

Basically what they did is, to place markers along the circle. These are metal pillars with spatial nodes and some defensive mechanisms like poisons and hidden weapons involved. A small team was placed near these markers.

Apart from that, there are a bunch of sensory formations and puppets surrounding this area. Whenever an external person enters this area, the puppets will catch them. The marker will trigger and give notice to the team. The team will evaluate and send a message through the marker, the reinforcements will be deployed.

These reinforcements might come from the nearest area or from a farther area. Either way, the reinforcements are always on time.

For some reason, the other Olympian academies are not making any move. Even weirder is that no other academies from other regions have come. Only the Olympian academies are working this planet.

Gambler academy tried to break through this. But they are unable to do so. To do anything, they need to deal with the marker and identify how the spatial transference is happening. They tried to do some spatial interference methods, but they didn't work.

The reinforcements still came.

From then, they are having this meeting awaiting some help from the gambler academy.

Maybe if there are more gamble academy students they might have been able to do something. But at the moment, the difference in numbers and strategy is way too high.

Sam couldn't help but grin wildly upon seeing this. He barely managed to suppress the urge to just laugh out loud.

Sam said while smiling.

"I thought so too. But the core team is stuck solving another situation. We cannot have them

for now."

"Okay, I will help you guys out. I will break them down bit by bit. But you have to do the other parts yourself.

Did you guys locate the green portal?"

"Yeah, we have one in our control. We have support from one of the organizations too."

"Perfect. Let's get started then. Our first goal is to break open that circle. We will target just

one point and destroy it...

Sam proceeded to explain the plan.
