Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Chapter 491 Very powerful and chains

The Old Leader felt angry and smiled. "Heh, it's not that I don't know how to choose. It's just that I won't let you guys get your hands on the place my family has been caring for for thousands of years."

Matthew looked at him mockingly. "Hahaha, that's pretty hypocritical of you, you know? You allowed traitors to get their hands on that place, and now there's chaos all over the world because of it."

"Hmph, I wasn't in control before. Besides, you're no one to question me about it. You're just not worthy, neither is the Allen Family."

Matthew shook his head in derision. "Tsk, tsk. I think you overestimate yourself too much, old man. You're not very dignified, to say the least, not even to be kneeling in front of me; why are you talking so big?"

The Old Leader slightly crouched down to put himself in a fighting stance at that moment, feeling angry at Matthew's words.

"Overestimate me? No, I had to measure your power first. You are young and powerful; I admire you for that. No one in my family could do that. But there are those who say that it doesn't matter how talented you are, but how powerful. Currently, I am the more powerful between us, so I will kill you.

I will not allow the mastermind behind a plan that could take down one of the world's great powers in a single night to remain alive." He spoke.

"You are a danger to vampire society." He culminated.

"Even when we were the ones who helped you get revenge? If you came here, you already know the identity behind the mask."

The Old Leader smiled. "That's why you must die. You know too much. Besides, you've done your part. It's time to die, Matthew Dietrich. Don't worry, I'll send your girls with you; I don't like them underage."

Matthew frowned. "You know, I have a great dislike for those who betray me and act hypocritically in front of me. It's not the first time they've done it, and it's because of that that I have a tremendous hatred for those who betray me. So, I hope you can endure enough to bring joy to my heart once I have enough."

Matthew had not finished speaking when the Old Leader leaped towards him. He reciprocated, immediately reaching out to meet him.

The blow of the two caused a great roar, and the whole city shook. Even so, Matthew took the opportunity to launch a flurry of blows with his Path of Control, but these were countered by a Wave of Energy that ended up hitting him hard.

The impact of something so powerful made him roll backward, although he got up quickly.

'I see, the Energy Waves are simply a massive concentration of Vampire Energy.' He thought. 'No wonder they are so powerful.' He smiled.

But, as he looked up, he saw Alessa looking at him in shock.

He didn't know why the first thing he saw was her, but he instantly noticed and understood practically every change in her gaze and aura.

The moment she saw him hurt and being beaten like that by an old man like this, she felt a growing anger in her body. Her body shuddered a little, and she abruptly turned to where that old man, who was already preparing to attack again, was standing.

"Hey, you old fuck."

The Old Leader frowned and turned to look at her. "I understand that you want to die with him, but let me first get rid of..."

"Shut your mouth." She snarled, angrily. Though her voice was beautiful and soft, her words were filled with endless anger. "Since you dared to attack him, I hope you're at least someone worthy of standing in front of him; you damned geezer. I'll see to it myself."

The Old Leader didn't even know how to react. He never thought little girls these days were so sharp-tongued.

Alessa didn't give him time to respond, in an extremely quick time, which didn't give Matthew time to react; she raised her hand toward him. Her eyes glowed softly at that moment, which increased her power drastically until she brought everything around her to her feet.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

At that moment, giant hands came out beside the Old Leader's body. He was preparing to taunt her when his entire sight went dark.

Suddenly, those two huge hands shook and moved with incredible speed until they sounded a huge clap, which resounded like thunder around the city and created a huge spear of blood that shot up and down, shattering the Old Leader's body in a single movement.

That clap like thunder alarmed everyone in the city at this moment. Many of their ears could not withstand the roar and exploded. Even the most powerful in the City were alarmed by this.

But Alessa looked at it all indifferently as if it meant nothing. "Rubbish." She snorted.

Then she turned to look at Matthew, noticing that Alice and Isla were face down on the ground, suffering from the effects of having unleashed her power. Matthew was the only one standing, practically unaffected.

She quickly retracted all power and stepped forward a little, looking worried. "I... I'm sorry, Alice... Isla. I forgot that might put them in a bind." She lowered her head to apologize.

Alice and Isla felt all the pressure girding over their heads disappear, allowing them to breathe easily. They were already sweating over this, so they had to look at the ever-cheerful Alessa with different eyes.

They couldn't understand why such a powerful person was among them, and they couldn't even understand why she was lowering her head to apologize.

Matthew had earlier been ready to launch his Domain. If that guy attacked Alessa, he wouldn't have waited for Gray's arrival and would have attacked with all his might. But something unexpected happened.

Something that showed him that the world was not as simple as it was shown. That level of Alessa's power...

It was something that no one he knew could ever achieve. He couldn't know; it was just a feeling after seeing that.

There wasn't even a chance that guy could get rid of it; he died too quickly.

'Essence, what is the level of Power she reaches?' he asked in his mind.

But no matter how long he waited, the Spirit Essence did not answer him.

Yet, just then, Matthew saw something amazing.

Suddenly, Alessa was pushed back a little by an invisible force. From the ground, numerous blood-red chains came out and held her firmly to the ground.

"Huh?" Confused, she tried to put strength into pull but couldn't move her hands. That made her frown. 'Any skills? It's powerful.' She thought.

She immediately brought those hands out again to strike at the red chains, but before they could even hit them, they were drastically pushed back by an invisible force and returned to their world.

Alessa watched this, dumbfounded. "Impossible. What the hell is this?" She looked up and noticed Matthew arriving in front of her.

He grabbed the chains and tried to pull them to break them, causing the chains to drag Alessa backward roughly, creating furrows in the floor with her feet.

Matthew frowned and immediately raised his hand.

'Absolute Block.' Immediately, his ability was unleashed back and forth, covering all the surroundings.

Still, he was shocked to see Alessa disappear. 'What the hell?'

He disappeared and appeared where she had been a moment before, trying to grab the chains, but they disappeared.

'What?' Experience new stories on empire

Underneath him, there was only dirt and nothing else.

Just then, a voice reached Matthew.

"Matt, Lady Alessa is here!" said Mei quickly.

Matthew was confused. 'It sent her back to her world? What the hell is that? It can't be a curse; even more, impossible for it to have been something left by the former leaders of this place. What the hell is it?' He looked at Alice and Isla then.

"I'll be back in a moment." He said, and without waiting for confirmation, he sat down to enter the Spirit World with his spirit.

Seconds later, he appeared on that mountain, where Alessa stood looking dumbly at Mei, who was trying to talk to her.

"Matt, she was silent since she entered!" Mei said as soon as she saw him, looking a little scared, thinking that something could have happened to someone so important to the Spirit World.

But Matthew couldn't even speak before Alessa turned to see him. She jumped up as soon as she saw him and lunged toward him. "Matt, what the hell was that?" She asked, crying. "It sealed my power!"

"Sealed it? So powerful?" he asked, wiping away the few tears from her eyes.

She nodded quickly. "It sealed it! Totally, I can't use it anymore!"

"How do you feel? Is your body okay? Can you use it now that it's gone?"

Alessa frowned and tried using her power. She moved one of her hands to the side and created several spirits in a moment. She even summoned those giant hands to make an attack, leading her to frown.

"Does it work? I thought I was out of powers." She said, finally relaxing. It was a great relief.

For a moment, she thought that, without power, she had nothing to convince Matthew to marry her, so knowing that she has her power back is a great relief to her.

She smiled at him again. "Hehe, I can use it again." She even tightened her arms around Matthew, wanting him to feel her more.

But Matthew was more preoccupied with other things to notice.
