Chapter 1737: Acquired From Hell; Origindust

While the Utmost Purity Galaxy was undergoing a series of frantic frenzies and avid discussions after Wei Wuyin's arrival, just beyond it, the swirling, mist-shrouded, beautifully majestic galaxy painted a phenomenal as the target of these topics returned from challenging one of the eighteen calamities of Hell!

Wei Wuyin had established a Void Anchor outside the Utmost Purity Galaxy and had departed from the galaxy unbeknownst to the vast, vast majority of his true whereabouts. When he made his return, his eyes were closed and his body sat cross-legged on a platform. There was an indescribable amount to digest from this calamity, especially at the end.

However, most important of all was nothing other than the changes to his Bloodline of Sin tattoos!

Both of his tattoos experienced a rapid growth of unique characters and changing characters. This included his victory of claiming the Red Dust Dimension, flawlessly overcoming the Calamity of Mortal Despair, and surviving yet again on this path as a Paragon that sought to exploit the heavens, conquer all of Hell, and explore the universe.

Subtly, his Heart of Cultivation became firmer, purer, and clearer in intent and purpose after each victorious achievement in his life. All of his victories, such as defeating Enlightened Sage Springfield as a mere mortal to keep Su Mei alive to taking a nigh-incalculable amount of wealth from an entire galaxy, thereby ensuring the establishment of the Neo-Dawn Empire and eliminating its greatest weakness.

The tattoos kept morphing.

The first to change was the most dreadful reminder of his coming future. The Calamities of Hell, all eighteen, were within the cold, brutal abyss, and he was only at the edge of the cliff after climbing back up once again as if only to get fresh air. Yet the tether remained on his soul, threatening forever to take him back into the cold, uncertain embrace.

Fortunately, such a dreadful reality was no longer able to shake his heart in the slightest. The Calamities of Hell had become almost synonymous with his life, akin to a birthday or anniversary to the common man. A raw testament to Wei Wuyin's strength of the heart, steadiness of the mind, and courage of the soul.

As the numbers for Karmic Luck Value began to change, Wei Wuyin inadvertently thought about all his past gains from challenging and either surviving or claiming these calamitous descents to Hell.

During his first time challenging the first calamity, he had been subjected to the strange self-preservation aspect of his obscure Anima-Devourer lineage that originated from his mother, thereby causing an entirely disconnected consciousness from those events, so it was no different than an uninvolved observer watching a realistic play depicted on those lakes. It inadvertently allowed him to survive, and thereby break the impossibleness that was surviving Hell as a mere mortal.

For an inexplicable reason, he felt as if his mother was protecting him from the dangers of Hell even from beyond the world of the living. A warmth filled his heart.

The very first calamity had awarded him 490 Karmic Luck Value after surviving all seven, not claiming it.

Then, his Second Calamity was the first time that he bravely faced the dangers of Hell, which required foreknowledge, decisive planning, intelligence, and his Spirits of Cultivation to survive, but not only just survive, but 'claim' his very first floor of Hell!

Due to that, he acquired a whopping 15,699.4 Karmic Luck Value! He had directly jumped to five solid digits worth of luck. He had later figured out after his Bloodline of Sin: Lust tattoo had experienced an awakening that the total was 15,700, but after his Second Calamity, he hadn't realized the tiny spurt of Karmic Luck Value taken out while he was distracted by surviving the calamity. He didn't know what that fortune ended up being, and he had only some guesses.

Within the Third Calamity was dancing with Hellfire and the very edge of the sharpest blade, as perilous as one could imagine, and he succeeded by traversing the entirety of the Agonizing Road that sought to inflict soul-rending pain and suffering. For his efforts that even describing it as 'heroically herculean' was severely underestimating the achievement, he had received 54,240 Karmic Luck Value!

After the awakening of his Bloodline of Sin: Lust tattoo, he was forced to undergo all three calamities once again, and this time he had triumphantly claimed all three, realizing that 'surviving' the Calamities of Hell only bestowed a mere tenth of the total valuation as he ended up with 74,740, a few more thousands than the original 70,430 Karmic Luck Value.

Moreover, he couldn't help but recall the Black Skeleton's descent earlier, informing him of those called Empyreans, otherwise known as a Virtue of the Heavenly Daos. These particular individuals had acquired 333,333 Karmic Luck Value either through repeated good fortune acquisition by slaying Sinners or through their survival of the lower levels of Hell.

These so-called Empyreans held an absolute position in the Heavenly Daos that was biased and rather overt about it. At least, that's how the Black Skeleton described them. The Black Skeleton had outright said that when considering the fortune of an Empyrean or a Blessed, if in opposition, there was a 100% certainty on which side the Heavenly Daos would help, leaving the other to the lurch, a rule that the Heavenly Daos didn't rely on against two Blessed in competition even if their Karmic Luck Value was of the highest conceivable disparity of 0.1 and 333,332.9.

Wei Wuyin, despite losing all of his Karmic Luck after Su Mei's incident, still possessed the mandate of an Empyrean and remained a Virtue of the Heavenly Daos, but only for his Bloodline of Sin: Pride. The Bloodline of Sin: Lust lacked the mandate of the Empyrean, so Wei Wuyin didn't know how this would manifest when calculating his karmic fortune and future fortuitous encounters or conflicts with Blessed. Would the Heavenly Daos only display its so-called unfair bias when his Bloodline of Sin: Pride's tattoo Deducted Karmic Luck Value or will it matter regardless?

After distracting himself enough, the calculation and bestowal of his Karmic Luck Value for both tattoos had finished!

After a long while, Wei Wuyin's heart finally settled down. While it hadn't exceeded his former values of 333,801.3 and 248,877, for the right and left tattoos respectively, the return of such gargantuan amounts of Karmic Luck Value was excitedly accepted!

Furthermore, his concern that he would be unable to gain any more Karmic Luck Value after Su Mei's incident where his accumulated fortune of positive karma was taken from him was immediately dispelled. He can still act in the capacity of an Inheritor of Sin while doubling as a Blessed Virtue, further increasing his capacity to exploit both lanes. This was something he was becoming increasingly aware of.

"Forty-nine more years…" Wei Wuyin couldn't resist the urge to sigh in relief. He had more time. While he didn't fear challenging Hell's floors any longer, he still wanted to focus on the reality before him, not the Hell beneath him. With this, he could cultivate wholeheartedly to reach and enter the Mystic Dao entirely, becoming a true Ascended being.

At the moment, he danced upon the edge of the Mortal Dao and the Mystic Dao as a Mystic Star Phase expert, yet to shed all remnants of his Mortal Dao Cultivation as he still possessed Astral Souls. Fortunately, this stage of cultivation was a unique opportunity to establish unprecedented foundations.

Shockingly, his Astral Souls were equally as occupied by this development, and only after it had been completed did Eden and the others notice the irregular abnormality that was Wei Wuyin's soul.

"Hm?" Wei Wuyin immediately executed a mental incantation, arriving at his Mind's Eye metaphysical space that housed Little Defiant and Element at times, the gateway to his soul and mind.

"What?!" When he arrived, he was shaken to the absolute core! Within his metaphysical space, leading to the soul, was endless white dust. They danced and merged with his Mind's Eye, expanding its space in an unfathomably unimaginable way. Each speck of dust contained the visual imagery of a life of his, containing scenes from his eighteen lifetimes.

Within one, he could see himself standing beneath a wooden shack, hiding from the heavy rain, as a messenger came draped in a raincoat. That was the day he received the news of a child of his former love and his greatest enemy had been named after him. What would normally be a great honor became a harsh insult.

Inexplicably, he decided to wave his hand as he felt his Law of Origin thrum. The dust that was swirling chaotically, merging with his Mind's Eye, and expanding its space in ways that Wei Wuyin had never even heard of, all stopped their movement like obedient children.

"Ooooh! I can control them?!" Ori was excited as it began to randomly form shapes out of the white dust, forming a cube, sphere, and diamond.

"They're…of the earth element?" Eden hesitantly concluded.

Wei Wuyin was at a loss. What was expanding his Mind's Eye supposed to do? While there were known products that could repair a damaged bridge between the mind and soul because one that was damaged initially could severely harm one's ability to cultivate Laws or begin their path of cultivation, and when thoroughly crippling a cultivator, it was expected to be done, he had yet to hear of a product that expanded a Mind's Eye metaphysical space.

This was like improving an already healthy and functioning bridge.

"It's like Hellfire…" King deduced as it observed the white dust. When Wei Wuyin traversed the Agonized Road Dimension and had his body, soul, and mind scorched by Hellfire, Ori had shockingly gained the ability to create and control it.

He didn't know if this was a unique property of his Stellar-Paragon Physique or Ori's Law of Origin. Could he create or control this…White Dust-like earth from Hell?
