Pampered By Mr President!

Chapter 182 - Does Tengyue’s President Treat You Well?

Chapter 182: Does Tengyue’s President Treat You Well?

Li Tongzhi and Mu Xingyu were fuming.

The Old Madam was obviously taking the b*tch, Mu Siyin’s side!

Seeing this, Mu Siyin battered her eyes as she sat down on the chair with a smile.

She did not have any objections to the order. She would just take it as a day off work!

In fact, the Old Madam had other intentions. She was not sure if Mu Siyin had really broken up with the President of Tengyue. If they treated her too harshly now, she would probably badmouth them to him and ruin everything.

After breakfast, Mu Heyuan went to work with a long face. Since the Old Madam had nothing to do, she stayed at home to supervise the three of them.

Li Tongzhi and Mu Xingyu did not dare to slack off under the old woman’s presence. Once they had obediently put on the servant’s attire, the duo started to clean up the house.

Their workload was really no joke!

The first floor was larger and had more shared spaces, like the living room, the washroom, the guest room, the study, the kitchen, the bathroom, and the list went on…

The space outside the house was even larger. They had to clean the huge courtyard, the lawn, the garden, and even the fish pond. The list was non-exhaustive. At that thought, Mu Siyin could not help but grin.

On the other hand, the second floor consisted only of two guest rooms, her bedroom, a huge corridor, and a balcony. It was much easier to clean.

She first went to clean up her room. After that, she headed downstairs… to have some tea.

Mu Xingyu was vacuuming the living room floor when she spotted Mu Siyin. The former immediately pushed the vacuum to Mu Siyin’s direction and grumbled with hatred. “Mu Siyin! I’ll make you pay for what you’ve done! Just you wait!”

Mu Siyin raised an eyebrow. “Both of you aren’t even done with one-fifth of the cleaning. Hurry up if you want to get it done before nightfall.”

Upon saying so, Mu Siyin strode towards the sofa in the living room.

Mu Xingyu initially wanted to tell the woman off. However, Mu Siyin had walked over to the living room to have a cup of tea with the Old Madam. Hence, Mu Xingyu could only grit her teeth as she walked off in the other direction.

Old Madam Mu held her cup of tea as she looked at Mu Siyin finish her tea in one go. The old woman asked meaningfully, “You must be happy today.”

Mu Siyin drank another cup of tea and smiled at the Old Madam. “I’m happy every day.”

The Old Madam squinted her eyes. “Is that so?”

Mu Siyin nodded her head and beamed. “Yeah. Can’t you see for yourself, Grandma?”

She used to cry a lot when she was a child because it solved a lot of problems. However, now that she was older, she realized that smiling was her best weapon instead.

Old Madam Mu grunted softly. She knew that Mu Siyin was just in denial. However, seeing the woman so happy made the old woman question if her breakup was just a false illusion.

“Does Tengyue’s president treat you well, Yinyin?”

Mu Siyin let out a cunning smile. “Don’t try to get things out of me, Grandma. I don’t think my private life has anything to do with the company.”

The Old Madam’s face darkened slightly. “I’m your Grandma, Yinyin. It’s my responsibility to know about your private affairs.”

Mu Siyin laughed sarcastically. Then, she looked at the Old Madam in astonishment. “So you do know that you’re my Grandma! I thought… you guys just picked me off the streets or something.”

The moment she said that, Old Madam Mu’s facial expression darkened even more. There was a hint of grimness in her eyes too. Nevertheless, the old woman’s gaze was too hard for her to read.

“Some things cannot be joked around, Yinyin.” Old Madam Mu drooped her eyelids slightly as her skeleton-like fingers tightened her grip on the delicate teacup.

At that, Mu Siyin placed down her teacup, stood up, and brushed some dust off her. “Okay, I got it. Enjoy your tea. I’ve still got some cleaning up to do upstairs.”
