Audrey somewhat speechlessly retracted the spellbook in her hand, feeling a small sense of loss in her heart.

She had actually had a great time today, experiencing many firsts in her life: meeting a senior sister who had no desire for her, shopping at the market together with someone for the first time, being alone in a crowd for the first time, and not returning home on time for the first time, playing outside even after dark...

All these firsts made her day quite thrilling, filled with more excitement than perhaps the entire past year.

Unfortunately, such freedom was about to vanish because her sister was already on her way here.

But the sensible Little Fox understood that her sister was just too concerned and caring about her, so despite some regrets, she obediently stayed where she was, waiting for her sister to come get her.

She sat, poised and graceful, in the audience seats of a strange wrestling club called "Death or Charge," not far from the Eye of True Sight club, with her hands propping up her chin as she watched two scantily clad witches wrestle on the stage.

The two competitors on stage were both tall and fit, with beautifully curved, graceful figures, making quite a lovely scene as they grappled. The ripples they caused were a sight to behold.

Little Fox, seeing this kind of scene for the first time, blushed and her heart raced, her mouth dry. She hugged one of her large tails with shyness, using it to cover her face as if to say, "This is too weird, I don't want to watch anymore."

Yet, she occasionally peered from behind her tail, sneaking glances at the wrestling on the stage.

Oh, it's so strange, I'll take another look.

Then another tail came over to block her view, followed by her turning her head to sneak a peek again, and yet another tail came to shield her vision...

Audrey struggled with her nine tails like this, thankful that the Witch's Akari Technique spell on her had not yet faded; otherwise, such a beautiful lady wrestling with her tails while watching the match might have attracted more attention than the wrestling match on stage.

"Senior sister is really amazing."

Feeling the effects of the spell on her body that hadn't dissipated for so long, Audrey sincerely marveled.

The mana value added by the senior sister when casting the spell had long been exhausted, but the spell was now automatically drawing from Little Fox's own magic power to sustain itself. This temporary buff, capable of absorbing the host's magic power to prolong its effect, was a high-level maneuver that Audrey couldn't have even dared to imagine before.

Even now, she could hardly imagine the level of proficiency with spells one must have to achieve such a feat, only growing more in awe of the mysterious senior sister who was indeed incredible.

Turning her head, Audrey glanced at the still-closed door of the Eye of True Sight club not far away, beginning to believe the senior sister wasn't joking with her after all.

It had been several hours since she went in; if she was just taking one exam, she would have finished by now. The fact that she hadn't come out probably meant the senior sister was indeed preparing to take the Nine Gates exam all at once.

Thinking back to how the fearsome test paper presented by her aunt this morning wasn't able to test the senior sister's limits, which she passed with full marks, the idea of simultaneously taking exams for the Nine Gates didn't seem so unbelievable.

"She's truly amazing."

Little Fox exclaimed again, feeling for the first time in her life a sense of inferiority to someone else.

But it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Presumably, having such a senior sister meant that her future school life should be quite interesting.

As Little Fox was daydreaming about a colorful future at the academy, a purple streak of light fell like thunder from the sky, slamming onto the wrestling stage and shattering the sturdy platform into pieces with a thunderous collapse.

Whether it was the two witches wrestling on the stage or the spectators below, everyone was dumbfounded, not understanding what had happened. The two wrestling witches in particular were caught off guard, hugging each other tightly in fright and sticking close on the spot.

And before they could regain their composure, another flash of white light passed by. Fortunately, this one did not land with such violence but gracefully hovered with wings spread, gently descending. The breeze from the wings blew away the dust on the stage, revealing the true identity of the earlier purple thunder.

"Ah, the Student Council President?"

"My goodness, the Disciplinary Committee Chairwoman?"
