Chapter 2180 Manor Of Vishnu -Part 4
When the Commando Mages entered the room, they noticed that this was a Cleaning Room that had been equipped to handle all kinds of various situations. There was even a cupboard of manuals right in the corner of the room that provided the necessary information for such cleaning procedures.
And the one they had been looking for - cleaning dead bodies, as well as splattered guts and blood, was tucked right at the centre of the cupboard, making it look as if this was an important and essential topic they had to study or was made access to so that they could use it when the situation demands it.
Naturally, it provided much relief to the entire group since they had no idea how to clean things as it is and the manual detailed where all the items were kept. If anything, the person who created this was no doubt an obsessive compulsive person who kept the information where it needed it to be.
Without too much hassle, they were able to get all the equipment needed to clear all the splattered blood and organs that were on the ground. No.7 who was good at delegating tasks because she never liked to do house chores, to begin with started to sound out who carried which equipment out to the 'crime scene' and relayed the steps out for everyone to hear.
Once they cleared an isolated 'body' that was out of the way as part of their experiment to ensure that the rugs and posh wooden tiles were not affected badly by their cleaning agents, they quickly proceeded with the rest of the bodies. And of course, they dragged No.7 into the fray because they knew that girl would slack when given the chance to escape from doing house chores.
However, she successfully dodged the bullet once again when No.8 understood her predicament and requested her to accompany No.2 with her to search the so called hunting grounds that Lord Vishnu had mentioned.
"Thank god, you chose me." No.7 said but everyone in the room knew her attitude towards house chores, No.8 did not do this because of favouritism or allowing her to skip chores. Her speciality lies in scouting and so was No.2. The both of them had always been the vanguard when it comes to dungeon instance exploration and it would also be the case as of this particular manor instance as well.
Also, They were able to perform such scouting was because the so called Cleaning Room not only had cleaning materials, in a room inside the cleaning room, there was a rack of rifles meant to 'clean' enemies from the Manor.
And to their delight, those rifles were none other than the Wand Rifles that they had been accustomed to. However, the only problem they had was that there were still no magic running through their veins, making them as powerless as they had been since the start of this particular dungeon instance.
The only saving grace they had was that the Wand Rifles were not the only items that had been stored in this particular room. There was also an assortment of ammunition which they believed had been brought in by the group prior to the dungeon instance.
This was further reinforced when they saw a few signature magic ammunition which could not had been the standard fare of items because they were only been issued to the Commando Mages.
One of such item was the mana restoring bullets. Once being shot by such a bullet, a person without mana or low in mana would be refilled to the brim once again. The only problem with this was that there were only 2 bullets within the lot of magical ammunition.
WIthout a doubt, they would have brought more to the dungeon instance but it seemed like such ammunition might have been stashed somewhere else. So, right now, they can only make do with these two bullets.
Now their predicament had been brought forward to their leader since making such an important judgement could not be tasked to the two who were going to scout out the area. They could either risk trying to use such a precious bullet to see if the mana regeneration within their circuits could work or waste it because their mana circuits had been sealed.
Ultimately, the decision to proceed with shooting No.7 was a unanimous decision by the whole group. They knew that using such a bullet would not harm a normal person so it would not be a problem to a person who had their circuits sealed as well.
"You take the honours. Boss." No7 said to No.8 which the former thought that her Team Lead would have some pity on her but hell no. No.8 immediately took the Wand Rifle and aimed it right to the centre of her chest, where the dispersion of magic would be the most optimal when using such mana restoring bullets.
Of course, they would mean the pain would be the highest as well due to the intense spread of mana dispersion once No.7 got hit by it.
And before No.7 could do any objection, No.8 had already pushed the trigger, giving No.7 no time to react at all. The wand rifle roared within the Manor, as the mana restoring bullet lit up the entire room. Naturally, No.7 fell to the ground, feeling the pain from the mana dispersion but it worked.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
Her circuits were up and running again, and she was able to use her magic once more. Even when she tried to drain her magic, her circuits were regenerating as per normal, allowing her to use magic not of limited use.
And that brings the question of the next bullet. While No.7 can jumpstart the magic powers of her comrades once more, it would no doubt be a heavy duty task for her to perform, unlike the Mana Restoring Bullet which had the capability to provide a jumpstart to a person lacking mana as well as boost them back to full mana points again.
Of course, No.8 can give it to the strongest and most capable Commando Mage but she remembered something that Jin said previously. Where once the trump card has been revealed, do not expect them to not provide countermeasures against it.
Whether No.8 wished to use that advice or ignore it for now, was a choice she had to make fast.
