Naruto: Child of Chakra

Who could it be that wanted Shiroken to leave the village? This was a question in everyone's mind. Well, that everyone only included Shiroken, Monari and Shisui. They sat together and tried to brainstorm.

"Maybe it's the two remaining villages? They are probably trying to lure you out… What if their target is you and not the village?" Monari suggested.

Shiroken denied this, "No, there is a very low possibility that they are this foolish. But, I will keep your thoughts in mind."

Monari sighed and sat back, "Well, whoever it is, it's not like it even matters. They are fools who think their wishes still matter. The world is going to see a new order, they can either be a part of it or be stomped on to make space."

Shiroken chuckled, "Since when did my dear sister become such a bloodthirsty warmonger?"

"Hmph... I never was, the situation made me. I'd rather live with you, Shirajin, Jin and all the bijuu as one big family. But, because people couldn't stay civilised and mind their own business, here we are now. So if the people think that it's the survival of the fittest, then as the fittest, it's our job to take over." She said, and her words did make sense.

If the world thinks that enslaving the tailed beasts is right and they should be caught, then as the new hegemon, it was Shiroken who decides what happens. If he now says that the beasts were friends of humanity, then the world has to accept it or be punished. There was no third way.

*DING DONG*

Doorbell rang. Shisui got up to see who it was. The sand siblings were already at home so it couldn't be them. He thought maybe it was Naruto or Minato.

But, it was someone else entirely, "Lady Tsunade?"

Tsunade stood there, scrutinising Shisui. "I need to have a talk with Lord Dama."

Shisui nodded, "You may enter, Lord Dama is sitting in the living room with Lady Monari."

Tsunade's quickly picked his words and asked, "Lady Monari?"

"She's Lord Dama's step-sister. Please refrain from saying anything bad about her or any of Lord Dama's family. He does not tolerate it." Shisui warned her in good faith.

Soon they arrived in the living room, "Lord Dama, Lady Tsunade has come to meet you."

Shiroken turned his head and found Tsunade plainly looking at his face as if trying to see through his thoughts. "Tsunade...?"

However, at that moment his gaze turned to look at Monari. He didn't like it, the grin on her face, her scheming eyes. ~Ah dammit, why did she come here? Now Monari will make my life hell.~

Meanwhile, Monari was only thinking about one thing, ~Oh my, he called her by her name directly... are they so close? Hmm... she's very pretty.~

"Monari, don't." He warned her quickly. But, he was late.

Monari quickly moved to Tsunade and dragged her to sit along with herself. Shamelessly she held her hand in hers, "What a beautiful name you have. I like it. Aw... she blushed."

Anyone would blush if a beauty like Monari would act too close and friendly. Tsunade quickly retracted her hand, "Thank you, Lady Monari. Lord Dama, I need to talk to you about something very important."

"Yes, sure. By the way, meet my sister, Monari, don't go on her pretty little face, she's a 200 year plus old hag." Shiroken introduced her. At the start, Monari was smiling but by the end, she was frowning.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY? OLD HAG? ME?" She yelled at him.

Shiroken quickly defended, "Oh come on, I was joking. Besides, due to our long lifespans, we're probably in the same age category as Lady Tsunade here."

Tsunade felt weird seeing them bickering like normal people. She was told that both of these people had the power to single-handedly raze the village to the ground easily.

Right now, despite her attraction towards him, she was acting strictly as the Hokage. "Lord Dama, I came here as the Hokage."

Shiroken turned serious, "Why didn't you say that before? Come with me to the other room. We can't have some old hag disturbing us."

"Yes yes... you two go. I will bring some snacks." Monari winked at them, which was certainly not meant to be a secret.

Shiroken just sighed and led Tsunade to another room that he was treating as his office. What he didn't know was that Monari started to question Shisui.

"Tell me, do they like each other? Are they dating?" She asked him.

Shisui scratched his head, "Umm... I don't know, Lady Monari. But from the way they acted, I don't think they are couples."

Monari felt dejected, but she cheered up immediately, "So what? I still saw some level of attraction towards her in Shiro's eyes, and she had the same look. I guess... SHISUI, MY BOY! WE HAVE A MISSION!"

Shisui silently frowned under the cloth he had tied around his eyes, ~Here I go wasting my days again. But... it'll be fun.~

"We gotta get Shiro a girlfriend. Tsunade seems pretty and beautiful, and her... those are even BIGGER than mine. I wonder if Shiro is into that." Her head started to overthink left and right.

Why was she like this? Well, like how Shiro loved playing with Shirajin, she also wanted to play with Shiro's kids someday.

...

Inside the office,

Shiroken and Tsunade sat face to face. He politely asked, "What can I do for you, Lady Tsunade Senju?"

"I don't have that surname. My grandmother was an Uzumaki and my mother was also a non-Senju... The last Senju I remember was my little brother. Do not add words to my name." She sternly corrected him.

Shiroken apologised, "Then I ask for forgiveness. So, what can I do for our new Hokage?"

"Lord Dama, I need to know what your thoughts are about me, only then can I ever trust you with being an elder." She blurted. However, immediately she realised her choice of words was not good.

Shiroken was similarly left speechless, "W-what do you mean? I don't have any thoughts about you. Sure, you're beautiful but what's that gotta do with me being an elder?"

Tsunade felt like throwing herself off the Hokage Rock right now, "Dammit, I worded that wrongly, I apologise. I wanted to ask if you have any problems with my bloodline? Do you still hate the village?"

He sighed and relaxed back, "Well, yes, the name Senju still leaves a bad impression in my head. But I try my best to not let it affect me too much. And no, I don't have any problem with you, Lady Tsunade. You had nothing to do with what Hashirama did. I cannot blame you for anything. And about the village... I have forgiven it."

"Then, will you do your duties as the elder correctly?" She asked him.

He nodded, "Of course, I will fulfil all my duties to this village, protect its people from both physical harm and economical harm. I will advise you to the best of my ability when you need help. Likewise, you can ask me for help at any time, no matter where I am. So rest assured, as even though I may dislike the Senju clan, I do not dislike you or the village."

She nodded her head. His answers satisfied her. "If that's the case, can you help me and tell me what you will do in case we were attacked by Kumo and Iwa?"

Shiroken sneered, "Total annihilation of their armies and annexation of their villages, that's what will happen since they dare attack my land. However, do not forget, the building you are in right now once belonged to the patriarch of the Uchiha clan. But they were betrayed by their own village, again and again until nothing but outright killing them was the only option left.

"I will only advise you with one thing, keep your eyes open and try to look at things beyond the surface. You will see that the reality is much darker than the colourful surface."

She knew that although his words were cryptic, he was just warning her that not everything was alright in the village. ~Tsk... it hasn't even been a day since I took over.~

*DOOR OPENS*

"HERE YOU GO! SNACKS FOR THE COUPLE!" Monari entered the room with a big tray, there were two glasses of juice, tea and even sake. Then there were many salty and sweet snacks.

Shiroken's brows twitched, along with Tsunade's. Reason? Well, Monari was not even being subtle here with her intentions. Everything, from the glasses, the plates, or the sweets, everything was heart-shaped.

There was even a small cake with the words "Perfect Couple" written on it. Shiroken facepalmed and cut it in half immediately.
