My Wife Is A Secret Assassin

Chapter 11: I Love You

Chapter 11: I Love You

The man who visited them was wearing a blue shirt and black pants, he smiled sharply at Samantha even more when he saw her surprised.

Andy was surprised to see a hot customer and she quickly went to attend him.

"Hi, may I know if you are looking for anything specific?" Andy asked him.

"Honestly, I have no knowledge about flowers, can you recommend something?"

"Sure, may I know who these flowers are for? It helps us choose the right bouquet." It was common for them to have clueless customers and based on their purpose they prepare a bouquet for them.

"It is for a woman I fell in love with and I have yet not confessed."

"Got it"

Andy went to pick flowers for him.

Samantha was still rooted at her spot and continued to seriously look at the man, he was smiling at her.

Andy chose flowers for him; it was indeed a beautiful bouquet that she prepared.

"Thank you so much, they look very pretty." He praised her choice and Andy only smiled back at him and asked him if he needs a card but he refused.

After paying for the bouquet, the man instead of leaving, stepped towards Samantha who was still silent.

Andy got confused as to why he is approaching Samantha but she kept quiet.

"I love you" Uttering these words the man offered the bouquet of flowers to her.

Samantha who was silent and shocked till now was surprised with his words and couldn't process what he just said. Andy too was shocked as this was the first time she was meeting him and didn't expect him to suddenly propose to her boss.

There was no reaction from Samantha, so, he again repeated, "Samantha, I love you."

She came out her daze, "Are you kidding me? We only know each other for two days and"

"So what? It takes only a moment for one to fall in love and two days is more than enough for that."

"But Chance, how did you know I was here." She still couldn't believe that Chance is standing in front of her right now.

"Although you gave me your wrong number, lucky for me you told me your name, profession and location honestly. It was enough for me to locate you."

Samantha always provides the correct information of her fake life as lying about it would make her suspicious. Even if someone traces her till here it would be a dead-end for them as this is the limit, they can never find out about her being an assassin, so even if someone catches her, there is no way for them to find her secret identity, so she never bothers herself and reveals this information. This too is a part of their assassin firm.

That's why she shared this information with Chance and her friends too in case Abigail runs a background check on her but she never thought Chance would travel all the way from New York to San Diego for her as she assumed, she too is just a good memory he had in Hawaii as nothing else happened between them.

They didn't even kiss each other and only spent some quality time. She never expected he would have fallen in love with her in so less time.

"Even if it is enough for you to trace me, you did not have to come here." She finally spoke.

"How could I not when I have fallen in love with you." He answered her as a matter-of-fact.

"You don't even know me well enough to love me." She couldn't bring herself to accept him as she still doesn't him well.

"At times even if you know someone very well, you don't fall in love with them. Similarly, even when you don't know a person well enough, you still fall for them head over heels. Love is a crazy feeling; it is not under anyone's control."

Samantha could see the sincerity in his words and Andy wanted to clap for him but she restrained herself from doing so as Samantha might not like it.

"You are very cheesy" Samantha finally spoke and Chance chuckled at her words.

"I am sorry for that but I meant every word I said."

"Don't be sorry, actually I am sorry, I am not in love with you, so I cannot accept these flowers." Samantha rejected him with a very heavy heart.
