My Muscle System in the Mage World

Chapter 321 Luck and Lord Sky

Aur walked out of the carriage while the spell slowly floated towards him, following like an obedient puppy.

He looked at the tier six spell strangely. Since he couldn't store the spell in his mental space, it had to float outside like this.

However, there was a huge drawback to keeping it in the open because, not only would he be unable to control it, the spell will be variable to all external attacks.

Even a normal person could destroy a spell, no matter its rank, whereas in the mental space, there was absolute safety.

"Does this spell feel like it has a consciousness of its own?" Aur thought. This was similar to the tier four spell he had, but the consciousness and the will seemed even stronger than before.

"Hey, Lily." Aur muttered as his consciousness sank into his system's storage space.

"What is it?" Lily said with a frown.

"Does the spell gain consciousness as it grows stronger?" There was strong confusion in Aur's tone.

To this question, Lily replied calmly. "Yes, the stronger and older the spell, the more mana they absorb. They eventually gain some sentience and even have a chance of gaining life."

"Interesting." Aur's eyes shined. "As expected of a spell from a succubus sect, even the tier six spell is so…"

He paused abruptly, not because of his thoughts, but because he saw three people kneeling in front of him.

"We greet master." The three echoed in unison as if of their own free will.

"When did I become your master?"

Naturally, the three people were the two old wizards and the old wizard with a goatee.

Their lust had already faded, and there was no tree in sight in front of Aur. It was likely the trees had suffered a devastating fate at the hands of their creator, Lord Forest.

"I don't know," the trio said in unison with an extremely servile tone.

"Is this the effect of the tier six spell?" Aur's spine felt a strange chill as he collected his thoughts.

How could a tier six spell be so simple?

The higher the tier of the spell, the more complex it becomes.

Tier six spells were on another level entirely.

Refining one would take unimaginable wealth that Aur could probably not comprehend.

And spells of this level have multiple uses.

Since it had been so long since it was refined and this was the opportunity of a person with great luck, the spell would also not be an ordinary tier six spell.

"It was definitely worth it to steal it from her." Aur nodded his head with a satisfied expression.

It's just that after he came out of the village with the explosion, his luck had become increasingly bad.

He would always encounter wild beasts no matter how hard he tried to evade them. And the mine incident—if he hadn't divined the future with his talent, he would definitely have been in trouble.

Even after leaving that place, in the months he had travelled, he had encountered various beasts of high presence.

Luckily, with his strength, he could easily slaughter them, and they instead became his nutrients to become stronger.

As for the stronger beasts, with his experience, he gradually avoided them even though he always encountered them.

His luck was increasingly becoming bad, and he would always encounter danger, this caravan was like a death sentence to him.

If Aur didn't have the tier six spell, he would definitely die.

"Is it because I attacked William and that girl?" Aur's eyes narrowed. He had already considered this possibility; however, the golden text was too valuable to him and had helped him greatly.

He could have silently walked away from the village without it, but he didn't because he wanted the golden text no matter what.

Aur had a hunch that attacking those people might have made his luck so bad.

Attracting a beast once might be a coincidence, but attracting all this misfortune couldn't be a coincidence.

Luck is an illusionary power driven by the power of probability.

If your luck is good, even if the chances of you winning are slim, that chance will change to a hundred percent and you will win.

Even in his previous world, there was luck, and in this world, luck was an especially strong factor because the Fate Palace had been destroyed.

"I need a method to control luck," Aur thought resolutely as he walked ahead.

The scene was one of absolute desolation. The entire landscape, once teeming with life and activity, seemed to have evaporated into nothingness.

Where vibrant grass and sturdy trees once stood, there was now only barren ground.

The soil itself had been obliterated, leaving behind a vast expanse of scorched earth.

Deep beneath the surface, red-hot obsidian glowed ominously, creating the impression of a fiery underworld that had risen to the surface.

The devastation was complete.

The North Village, once a bustling hub where children played in the streets and normal people lived with numerous wizards that had been produced since the establishment of the village, was gone without a trace.

The buildings, the people, and even the very essence of the place had been eradicated.

In their place, a vast chasm revealed the molten core of the earth, bubbling and seething as if a meteor had struck with cataclysmic force.

The air was thick with the acrid scent of burning, and the ground radiated an intense heat that distorted the air above it.

Amid this hellish landscape, a rumble emanated from the depths of the lava.

Slowly, almost agonisingly, a figure emerged. He was a man with long black hair, now scorched from the intense heat.

His body bore the marks of unimaginable suffering. One of his limbs was missing, a grotesque wound that oozed blood and left a trail of crimson in his wake.

His skin was charred and blistered, the flesh beneath exposed and raw.

He was soaked in his own blood, his face twisted in pain as he struggled to move.

Each breath seemed to tear at his insides, causing him to cough up more blood.Despite his grievous injuries, he clung tenaciously to life.

In his remaining hand, he held a piece of charred flesh.

"Even though he should have died already, the mental space is still intact; it will take a long time for it to decay," the man muttered as he hovered above the magma and obsidian, surveying the ruined landscape.

His long black hair fluttered in the wind, a stark contrast to the fiery hell below.

"Let's see who has survived," Lord Sky murmured, forming a strange sign with his hand which looked like the Hamsa.

Lord Sky, as he was known, had somehow managed to protect himself from the catastrophic explosion that had consumed the entire area.

The presence of a tier six radiated from him.

"Aur and Noah," he said, squinting his eyes as he focused on his surroundings.

With a wave of his hand, he instantly healed almost all of his injuries. His body, which had been ravaged by the explosion, now showed no signs of the ordeal he had endured.

His eyes scanned the horizon, searching for any sign of life amidst the devastation but there was nothing even he almost died there was no way other could escape within the range of explosion.
