The first option might sound simple and in fact, every alchemist has the basic ability to judge the ingredients' potency but the Lightning Strike Potion needs to be more precise than other potions

Even the smallest bit of difference will change the outcome. It's like a person can only adjust things using whole numbers but the requirement is to have an adjustment at the decimal level

No wonder that the Lightning Strike potion although popular is also expensive. The difficulty of creating such a potion was indeed high
