Chapter 652 Elias And Elisha's Visit
Elias and his younger sister, Elisha, walked toward the servants guarding the entrance with anticipation evident on their faces, immediately drawing the servants' attention. Their unexpected approach puzzled the guards, who exchanged concerned glances. After all, just a few hours earlier, Yuan had killed someone inside the room and reduced the body to ashes.
"Do you think those two are heading this way?" one of the servants murmured, her expression a mix of confusion and unease as she focused on the approaching figures.
"Looks like it. And judging by their attire, they must be from a powerful and prominent family," another servant remarked, eyeing the fine clothing the siblings were wearing.
"Should we stop them before they cause a scene? We don't want to risk angering Young Master Yuan or Lady Valeria."
"Agreed. No one enters this room without their explicit permission," the first servant affirmed, her tone firm with resolve. They knew the consequences of any negligence could be severe—possibly even punishment from the Emperor himself.
Moments later, Elias and Elisha reached the VIP room. They approached the servants with friendly smiles, their demeanor polite yet confident.
"Excuse me, ladies," Elias began, his tone warm and his smile charming. "Could you confirm if this is VIP Room Number 1?"
"This is indeed VIP Room Number 1," one of the servants replied politely, though her posture remained vigilant. "May I ask why you're here?"
Elias inclined his head slightly, keeping his composure.
"Oh, we're here to meet the distinguished gentleman inside. We're from the Silver Family and wish to recruit him and his party. This could be an incredible opportunity for them to grow," he explained smoothly. Stay tuned for updates on empire
Elisha nodded eagerly, her gaze flitting toward the grand door behind the servants. "Exactly! It's a once-in-a-lifetime chance for him. Our family can help him achieve unparalleled fame and success."
The servant's expression remained neutral as she responded, "So, you're here for Young Master Yuan and his wives. Unfortunately, they've requested not to be disturbed. They are not meeting anyone unfamiliar at this time."
Elias frowned slightly, his smile faltering.
"Surely you can make an exception and at least inform them of our visit? This is a rare opportunity for them. Joining our family would elevate their status to unimaginable heights," he argued, his tone growing colder, clearly displeased by their refusal to comply.
"I'm sorry, but I can't do anything about this. If he doesn't want to meet anyone, then we have no choice but to respect his wishes," the servant said firmly, standing resolute in front of the entrance without moving an inch.
Elias's patience was wearing thin. His polite demeanor cracked, and his expression turned cold and menacing. A chilling aura radiated from him, sending an involuntary shiver down the servants' spines.
"He doesn't even know we're here to see him! Why are you speaking on his behalf?" Elias snapped, his voice sharp and filled with contempt. "You're just a mere servant. Know your place, you pathetic vermin!"
His murderous glare pierced through the air, his disdain evident.
Despite the oppressive aura Elias exuded, the servants managed to keep their composure. They had full faith in Yuan and his wives, knowing their mysterious powers were likely observing everything. They wouldn't let harm come to them.
"It seems you don't understand the situation," one of the servants replied sternly, her voice unwavering despite the tension. "For your information, Young Master Yuan is well aware of your presence. In fact, he may still be watching you right now. I suggest you behave properly."
Both Elias and Elisha froze in disbelief, their confidence shaken. The idea of mere servants speaking to them in such a bold manner was incomprehensible.
'Am I hearing this correctly? These lowly servants dare speak to us like this? This is unforgivable!' Elias thought, his furious gaze narrowing on the servants blocking his path.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
'Are they not afraid of our family? Or are they just pretending to be this brave?' Elisha wondered, her disbelief evident as her mouth slightly hung open.
"I can't take this anymore… This is getting utterly ridiculous!" Elias muttered through gritted teeth, his anger boiling over. The air around him thickened as he unleashed his Mana, a wave of oppressive energy crashing down on the servants.
Their faces turned pale as the overwhelming force drove them to their knees. It felt as though an invisible weight was crushing their bodies.
"Ahhh!" The servants cried out, their throats burning and their bodies wracked with pain. They could taste the metallic tang of blood in their mouths as the pressure increased.
"Elder Brother…" Elisha hesitated, glancing at him nervously. She wanted to intervene, but the fury in his eyes made her step back, reluctant to get involved.
"I've had enough of your insolence!" Elias roared, his voice booming with rage. "Prepare to face the consequences of offending me!"
He intensified the pressure, drawing more screams from the servants, who writhed helplessly under the crushing force of his Mana.
Meanwhile, inside the VIP room, Yuan and his wives watched the scene unfolding outside with amused expressions. The arrogance of one of the Ten Great Families didn't particularly surprise them, though it was still a sight to behold.
"Darling, what are you going to do? Are you just going to let that arrogant bastard torture those poor maids?" Anna Grace asked, her face etched with concern as she watched the servants writhe in pain.
"There's no way I'd let his arrogance slide while sitting here with a straight face," Yuan replied, a mischievous grin spreading across his lips. "Let's invite him inside and hear what he has to say—before we have some fun with him." With that, he grabbed Anna Grace by the waist and pulled her onto his lap.
"I see…" Anna Grace murmured, leaning against his chest. "Well, from what I've heard, he's from the Silver Family—the fifth most powerful family on the continent. They're known for their stubbornness, but deep down, they're just cowards." A sly smirk formed on her lips.
Mireya, who had been clinging to Yuan's arm, chimed in, "We should reward those maids for their loyalty. They've gone above and beyond for us, even risking their lives."
"How about 4,000 gold coins? A thousand for each of them?" Sylvia suggested with a gentle smile, wrapping herself around Yuan's other arm.
"That sounds perfect!" Rose nodded approvingly, her lips curving into a warm smile.
Valeria, who had been quietly observing, stood from her seat and approached Yuan. Cupping his face in her hands, she said softly, "In that case, how about I handle the reward instead of you? After all, as your wife, I should contribute too. You've done so much for me already—let me take care of this."
"If that's what makes you happy, then so be it. Do as you like," Yuan replied with a smile of approval.
Valeria responded with a brief but tender kiss on his lips. When she pulled away, her demeanor shifted dramatically. A wide, murderous grin spread across her face as she turned and strode toward the door.
With a deliberate, almost chilling calmness, Valeria pushed the door open and stepped outside. Her gaze immediately locked onto Elias, her expression twisting into one of cold irritation.
Elias, startled by the sudden opening of the door, quickly withdrew his Mana. His expression shifted to one of surprise, and he feigned innocence as though he'd done nothing wrong.
"What's wrong with you?" Valeria asked icily, her tone laced with disdain. "Why are you torturing those maids? Are you some kind of narcissist?"
Her words cut through the air like a blade, and her piercing glare sent a shiver down Elias's spine. Despite his attempts to appear composed, her presence alone made him tremble.
'What the hell is this?! Why is my body reacting this way?! Am I… feeling fear? Toward her? Impossible! This is utterly ridiculous!' Elias screamed inwardly, his mind racing in disbelief. He struggled to comprehend the overwhelming pressure bearing down on him.
'This feeling… It's as though I'm standing before a mythical beast—a true predator!' Elisha thought, swallowing nervously as her eyes fixated on Valeria's tall and commanding figure. The woman stood proudly in the doorway, her presence radiating an undeniable authority.
For a moment, both Elias and Elisha froze, caught between fear and astonishment. The oppressive aura Valeria exuded seemed to engulf their very being. At the same time, her beauty—elegant and transcendent—left them speechless.
Breaking the silence, Elias forced a friendly smile onto his face and approached Valeria.
"I was simply teaching some manners to these impudent servants," he said smoothly. "They've been exceedingly rude to me, even mocking me outright, and I cannot tolerate such insolence."
Valeria raised a brow, her irritation evident. "Do you think I'm blind? Do you think I can't see exactly what you're doing?" Her tone was sharp, cutting through his pretense effortlessly.
Without sparing him another glance, Valeria strode past Elias and approached the servants. She handed each of them a small magic pouch, each containing 1,000 gold coins. The servants' expressions shifted from pain to joy as they realized the value of her gift.
"Thank you, Princess Valeria, for your generosity!" the servants exclaimed, bowing deeply. Gratitude filled their voices as they clutched the pouches tightly.
Valeria then retrieved another magic pouch and took out a few high-grade healing potions. She handed them to the servants with a gentle smile.
"These should help heal your injuries. Take care of yourselves and rest for a few hours," she said kindly.
The servants nodded gratefully, their eyes shining with relief and admiration.
Turning back to Elias and Elisha, Valeria's expression hardened, her eyes narrowing with disdain.
"Come with me. Yuan wants to meet you," she said coldly. Her tone dripped with contempt, each word laced with thinly veiled hostility.
"However, remember this," she continued, her voice as sharp as a blade. "We do not associate with mere mortals. Know your place, and choose your words carefully—lest you say something you'll regret."
What do you think?
