Chapter 4121: Learning
Chapter 4121: Learning
I looked at the wound on my chest. It is long, deep, and bloody.
A few more inches and he would have had me.
Not that, his razor-sharp wind element inheritance energy isn't trying. It is trying hard, but I had sealed it, but it is attacking that hard.
"Quite good," I said to him.
"This is just the beginning," he said with a grin, and came at me once again.
CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!
I defended the attack, but he attacked me again while I took a step back.
He attacked again and again and again. He had seen the blood, and he wasn't stopping. He wants more and unless he got, he will not stop.
The only other way, I could stop him is to put him down, which is easier said than done. Ripp Ripp Ripp!
I defended his attacks, till the seventh attack cut me on my shoulder. It's not as deep as the one on the chest, but it has reached my bone.
A few seconds later, another attack hit me, and then another.
Not a single one of them is at a level of the first, but their numbers are increasing, which is giving the enemy more confidence in his attacks.
I am defending with everything I have, but he is stronger than me. More familiar with the power, that I had just got a few minutes ago.
Powerful healing energies are moving around my body.
My own energies, which have grown even more powerful, and also the energies of the healing formation.
I had crafted only one prime-level healing concoction. I didn't think, I would be able to break through the absolute limit so fast.
Immediately, I asked my clone to prepare a few more of such formations.
It will take the clone from inheritance, but healing energies are important, too. They are lifesaving and the reason why I am fighting at my peak despite such injuries.
Time passed, and he continued with his intense assault. Carving my body red.
It is hard to defend against his attack. I wanted to get the help from my clones to read him, but I didn't.
Not because I don't want to. I had taken help from my clones thousands of times during the fight, but this time, I had not.
I learn fast after the breakthrough, and this is dangerous, but the ideal environment for me to learn about this colossal power I had a few minutes ago.
It might seem like it was the way he was beating me, but I was learning fast.
Getting familiar with the power, which is so powerful, that it scared me.
It is the power of gods.
It affects one's mind deeply. It is why, whenever one breaks through the Prime. The organization asks them to meditate for a few months to get complete control over their mind. CLANNNNG!
I was barely able to defend against the attack, and it made me smile.
I wouldn't have been able to defend against it earlier, but I have right now, which is progress.
The attacks kept coming, and I kept defending against them. Now, a lot less of his attacks are hitting me and he had noticed that too.
He launched another attack with an over hundred-meter-long saber filled densely with wind energies coming at me.
The deep red fire flared from my hand and moved toward my sword, where it would get concentrated. So much so that it felt like liquid and covered the sword whole.
CLANNNNNG!
The fire and wind clashed hard.
For a fraction of a seconds. The red fire had been able to stop the azure wind, but it tore through it soon enough.
Though not without losing more than half of its power.
Rippp!
Suddenly, sensed something and I moved forward, but it was late, and I felt cut as deep as my chest appearing on my back.
"You are good at dodging," he said, and I could see the irritation in his eyes before it vanished a moment later.
He had planned for that attack but hadn't succeeded. If he had, I wouldn't have been standing.
"I am good at killing too," I replied, and he laughed. "It's a good joke from someone who hadn't been able to even scratch me," he said and attacked me again.
Seconds passed, and I became more careful as I continued to fight him. He attacked sneakily, but not a single one was able to hit me as deeply as it was.
Minutes passed by and we kept fighting.
I could sense the monsters and people, sensing the battle between us and trying to move as
far away as possible.
It is a wise choice. I used to do the exact same thing.
CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!
The change begins to appear in the battle as time passes. He could sense it, too.
His saber cuts me less and less. From several times a minute, it had shrunk to barely one and
even that happened when pushed himself or used a new more.
He has a lot of moves, and they are powerful as well.
More time passed, and his edge lessened even more. He is still on the offensive and
suppressing me, but not as much as he used to.
"You should give up. You cannot kill me," I said to him. To that, he grinned angrily.
"You might be tough, but I will you. Have no doubt about it," he replied.
"A nice dream," I said and defended.
I wanted to attack him, but I couldn't. I am not as powerful as him. I just broke the absolute
while he had been at it for years. So, it is obvious that he is more powerful.
His ego must have been hurt a lot, seeing, not defeating me swiftly, but I am sure, he is blaming that to the forbidden power.
I might be wrong, but I don't think, I am. He feels that kind of person.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Hun!
Nearly an hour passed since we started fighting when I sensed something.
It made my expressions turn bad.
'Would it have hurt it, if it had come late,' I thought, sensing the king.
I wanted to keep fighting as much as I could, but now that the king was coming. It wouldn't be
possible.
