MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1118 Discussing the Specifics

1118  Discussing the Specifics

Giving himself a bit of time to calm his emotions down after Zuo and You's unnecessary show of force towards him, Valyr soon let out a long exhale as he arrived at the Blacksmith Guild's mission hall.

"Huh." Taking a look at the insides of the hall, the young man immediately stopped in his tracks as he felt as if he'd returned to a familiar place all of a sudden.

Fortunately, it did not take long for him to figure out why, realizing that the mission hall had emulated the style of the Blacksmith Guilds within the various kingdoms to some extent.

"If I were to compare it with an actual branch of the Blacksmith Guild, the one in Danyhris Town would probably be the nearest," muttered Valyr to himself, briefly taking a deep breath after that before delving a bit deeper into it.

Compared to the main mission hall situated within the base, the Blacksmith Guild's mission hall was around a third to a half of its size. Not only that, but the number of mission boards it had were far lesser than the main mission hall, amounting to only five.

However, unlike the main mission hall, a considerable portion of the Blacksmith Guild's mission hall's space went towards a series of workshops that lined the entire hall, all of them higher quality compared to the workshops found outside.

With that, Valyr wasn't surprised to hear after a bit of asking around that the workshops within the Blacksmith Guild's mission hall came at a higher cost than the ones outside.

'Then again, they aren't charging a higher price for the workshops for nothing,' thought Valyr to himself, noticing that a considerable portion of the forging hammers he saw in the workshops were Rare grade and above.

Reminding himself that his main purpose in coming to the Blacksmith Guild's mission hall was due to his conversation with Julian, the young man immediately discarded all of the errant thoughts in his mind as he made his way to a vacant counter.

"Welcome to the Blacksmith Guild's mission hall, how may I help you?" Arriving in front of one of the attendants, the young man faintly smiled as he listened to her question. n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"I've been told that the Blacksmith Guild has been looking for me," said Valyr in response, causing a look of confusion to appear on the young attendant's face.

Fortunately, the young man was already expecting to get such a reaction. With that, he took out his identification badge from the Blacksmith Guild before giving it to the attendant. "I suppose you could contact someone from the guild, no?"

Though the attendant was still skeptical of the claims of the man before him, she still treated him with the utmost respect after seeing the identification badge he took out.

However, as she took a better look at the identification badge that was given to her, the young attendant's eyes widened in shock as she could not believe what she was seeing.

Recalling what was briefed to her and all the other attendants in the past few days, the young attendant eventually connected the two together as she looked back at Valyr with a gaze of admiration. "You're… Sir Ylvar?"

"That would indeed be me." Though he wasn't expecting the question to come out of her mouth, the young man still nodded as he smiled.

"I understand." The young attendant nodded back, only to then bringing out a thin tablet that reminded Valyr of the ones he saw in the Blacksmith Guild.

Seeing the young woman in front of him interact with it for a bit, Valyr focused his attention on her the moment he noticed her let out a sigh of relief.

"Alright, Sir Ylvar. We've notified someone from the Blacksmith Guild to meet up with you shortly," said the young attendant to him with a smile. "According to them, it's someone you're familiar with." "Aside from that, they've also mentioned they've been waiting for your presence at this hall for a week now," continued the young woman, causing Valyr to look back at her with a bitter smile.

"Tell them that I'll explain everything to them once we meet," said the young man in response, to which the young attendant nodded as she interacted with the tablet for a bit more.

After relaying the young man's words through the tablet, the young woman gave Valyr a heads-up on how much time he'd have to wait before they arrived.

Naturally, after hearing from Julian that they've been waiting for him for a week now, the young man didn't mind waiting for a while.

Though, as he was waiting for the person that would meet up with him to arrive, he soon noticed the expression of the young attendant, staring at him as if he were a deity of some sort.

Looking back at the young attendant because of it, Valyr soon watched the young woman slightly blush in response, only to then muster up the courage as she asked him, "Er… would it be possible for you to sign something for me?"

"With pleasure," replied Valyr with a kind smile, deciding to talk with the young attendant for a bit more after that to pass the time.

"And here I thought I'd wait for another week just to see you."

After waiting for around 10 more minutes at the counter, Valyr was eventually told that the person meeting up with him had arrived, prompting the young attendant serving him to lead him to a private room within the hall.

Entering the room, he was then greeted by the sight of a familiar person, causing him to wryly smile as he heard the words that left the man's mouth.

"I apologize," said Valyr in response, his tone that of sincerity. "I was busy improving my rank this past week."

Sitting down on the chair facing the man, the young man took in a deep breath before looking at the former with a faint smile. "In any case, I wasn't expecting you to be the one to meet up with me, Elder Alvin."

"You flatter me, Herald," replied Alvin with a kind smile. "Then again, you aren't wrong. If Elder Merahm wasn't busy, he would've probably been the one meeting up with you right now."

"You also mentioned that back in the recent War Forge Assembly," said Valyr, to which Alvin nodded in response. "Though I'm now slightly curious as to why he's busy, that's not what the two of us came here to discuss about."

"Exactly." Elder Alvin nodded in agreement before grinning.

"Let's talk about the specifics of the two proposals, shall we?"
