It has been 4 more days since the day, they had the large battle with such a huge number of beasts as they witnessed the blood sacrifice ability of rank 3 spiritual beasts.

Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing fought against 2300 rank 2 'tail bone mermaids' as well as 300 rank 3 'tail bone mermaids' out of a total of 5000 beasts under water.

They have already killed 300 rank 3 ones out of 900 as 100 of these were killed by Su Yubing herself.

Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing weren't sure as to why that was but they didn't pay any attention to it as the energy wasn't of that much use to them.

It was also in these for days that Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing tried to perfect their 'water resisting method' but for some reason, no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't make it last indefinitely.

Yes, Mo Yuxin and Su Yubing were definitely not the kind of individuals who would just settle for the second best when they can go for something even higher.

"No. The cores cannot withstand the pressure under water for much longer." Su Yubing said after hearing Mo Yuxin's question.

She was currently trying to mobilize her spiritual energy to create a few core points on the skin of her body which would act as the pillar that supports her water resisting method.

They were a little confused but didn't mind it, instead Su Yubing tried again to implement their previous theory into reality.

But, alas, they failed again.

At this time, they were a little disappointed as their method didn't work but they weren't much worried as they themselves can last under water with their normal water resisting method for almost a month as long as they don't exhaust their spiritual energy.

Of course, Mo Yuxin can last much much longer as her spiritual energy reserve is almost the same as a nascent soul cultivator thanks to her special golden core.

At this time, they both were ready to go to the next trial but the gateway just didn't appear making them a little confused and concerned.

Mo Yuxin went towards Su Yubing and held her hand quite naturally as Su Yubing's voice floated into her ears,

Her cold eyes which contained boundless tenderness for her almost made her feel breathless and the way she said that she was the person she loved and made her feel loved to such extent that she finally accepted the reason for her beating heartbeat.

In that desperate time when she couldn't help but feel that she was about to die in vain again, like a powerless vase who was nothing but a trash who couldn't even protect those close to her. A useless woman who only brought countless trouble. A curse who should have died instead made all those who cared about her die just to save her insignificant life.

Thinking of all those days of agonizing loneliness as she was left in a world which seemed to be hell bent on making her suffer, Su Yubing couldn't help but take a deep breath as her eyes turned uncontrollably red but before he could Subconsciously conceal her emotions, she was suddenly pulled into a warm yet familiar embrace.
