Marvel: Killing Makes You Stronger

Chapter 15: Hunting Vampires

Chapter 15: Hunting Vampires

"This... this is..."

The blonde bartender felt the sword held by the man, the piercing pain and discomfort immediately made her realize that something had been added to this object. Her twisted expression was full of terror and despair.

Bi Xiao picked up the cross sword and, amidst the strange expressions of the male and female patrons drinking on either side, swung it through the air with a ruthless arc.

With this stroke, he mercilessly decapitated the blonde female bartender, who was too frightened to move, right in front of him.

The next moment, her head flew off, blood splattered everywhere, accompanied by her body igniting with sparks, her clothes starting to burn.

"Oh my God~~~"

"Murder!"

"Run, this man is insane."

The men and women drinking on both sides were scared by Bi Xiao's sudden mad act, screaming in terror and fleeing. As citizens of New York, a city abundant in martial valor, they were no strangers to gunfights.

But while gunfights are one thing, witnessing a beautiful blonde bartender being beheaded up close was unprecedented for them.

Especially since the beautiful bartender's body and head ignited like a spark after being beheaded, the scene was too horrific, breaking through their psychological defenses.

The screams and turmoil were just in this small area, while the explosive music kept many others immersed in their own world, completely unaware of what was happening here.

Bi Xiao ignored those fleeing. After killing the blonde bartender, a more intensely red life orb crashed into his heart.

Every cell in his body, his bones, his organs were jubilant.

His thinking became clearer, his senses sharper.

A minor vampire character exploded with experience worth many times that of an adult man, a multiple that made Bi Xiao's eyes blaze with fire—experience, a vast amount of experience, beckoning him.

He scanned around happily. Already, a dozen or so vicious-looking vampires had surrounded him, all wielding various weapons: knives, swords, handguns, rifles.

"You..."

A fairly handsome Caucasian vampire raised his handgun at Bi Xiao, just as he was about to speak, the figure that was originally several meters away suddenly burst in front of him. Shocked, he instinctively tried to pull the trigger, but the next second, a dazzling silver arc swept through beautifully.

Then his consciousness abruptly vanished, his head was severed, his body burning with sparks and turning to ash.

Among the ashes and sparks, Bi Xiao moved like a fierce cheetah, his figure ghostly, killing one vampire after another non-stop.

As a supernatural being, his reflexes, speed, and strength far exceeded those of ordinary humans.

The moment Bi Xiao killed the first vampire, the other vampires reacted immediately, pulling their triggers, bullets raining down towards Bi Xiao's position. However, his reaction was too quick, and his combat awareness too high.

After killing the first, he immediately turned to the second, dodging a barrage of bullets in the process.

He reached the second vampire, a tall black vampire, grabbed the rifle he was firing with his left hand, lifted it, and with his right hand thrust the sword through his heart, then pulled it out without looking and continued on to the third.

His movements were bizarre, his speed so fast that it terrified the vampires, his body swaying and dodging every gun aimed at him, also using the angle difference, making the vampires block in front of him. With an all-around disparity, Bi Xiao's silver cross sword, combined with his steps, danced like a beautiful waltz.

Explosive music, ashes, and sparks filled the air, and the silver arcs cutting through various colored lights seemed like ripples swallowing the lives of these vampires.

The fight seemed intense, but in reality, from start to finish, it only lasted a few seconds.

Yet, it was these few seconds, continuous gunfire, that finally woke those immersed in the blasting music.

These people stopped their gyrating movements, a few saw the image of Bi Xiao using the cross sword to sever the last vampire's head, the flying head and the headless body burning with sparks, a horrific scene, only then did they react, screaming in terror as they fled towards the outside of the bar.

The rest, unaware of the situation, were infected by the panic and also joined the fleeing crowd.

Soon, part of the bar was emptied, while the remaining men and women still stayed, but every gaze was now on Bi Xiao, their expressions fierce, clearly, these people were all vampires.

The music stopped, but the lights were still shooting various colors.

Lights swept over everyone irregularly, different faces flashing by, but the blood-colored pupils, sharp teeth, only added to the fear.

The atmosphere became oppressive and heavy.

Bi Xiao glanced over the entire scene, the layout of the tables and chairs, the distances, all information entered his brain, constructing a temporary virtual scene, his brain rapidly analyzing to obtain the most accurate information.

His silver cross sword twitched slightly.

As the suffocating tension reached its peak, Bi Xiao moved. His terrifying burst of power was showcased in that moment—the floor cracked abruptly, and a burst of energy surged from his body as he transformed into a blade, charging towards the crowd of vampires.

Roars filled the air, the vampires displayed their most ferocious side.

Ghostly figures rushed towards the man who dared to kill their noble kin.

Bi Xiao, fearless, faced them with utmost coldness and rationality, plunging into the crowd of nearly a hundred vampires. Everything seemed to slow down around him, from all directions, hands with sharp nails lunged at him, bizarre and numerous, yet he faced them with detached calm.

Twisting his body, his sword traced a brilliant arc through the air.

Spinning like lightning, hands reaching from all directions, the vampires, were all bisected in an instant.

The hunt had truly begun.
