Chapter 194 Formidable Power
"We are finally out!" Selene sighed in relief. Being in confined spaces was not something she enjoyed, so escaping from such an environment brought her a great sense of comfort .
"It was fortunate that we had the map of the base. It saved us a lot of time," Vincent remarked.
Prior to starting the mission, Evangeline had thoroughly studied the map and identified a location nearby that would serve as a perfect escape route. The soil behind its walls led to an abandoned mine from the late 80s, and it was mere 500 meters away. From there, they entered a 5-kilometer tunnel that they traversed with ease, thanks to their exceptional speed and abilities. The tunnel provided a straightforward route for their journey, allowing them to move swiftly .
They utilized this route for their escape, and outside awaited a black Jeep Wrangler.
"Let's get out of this place," Vincent spoke, not wasting any time as he swiftly entered the SUV. His eagerness to test and explore his personal domain drove him to seek an opportunity for experimentation as soon as possible.
"Won't we be attacked after we leave this place?" Selene asked with a worried expression. She was fully aware of her importance to her uncle, who would stop at nothing to retrieve her, believing she still possessed a significant reserve of energy.
No one could have ever imagined that a single individual could absorb such immense power without bursting like a balloon. But Vincent truly accomplished that feat.
"Don't worry, those people will be too preoccupied with the aftermath. I'm confident that DSAS and USSF are actively pursuing them," Erika giggled. Evangeline had anticipated and prepared for every possible scenario, and everything was unfolding just as planned.
To Erika, it felt as though every piece on the chessboard was dancing perfectly in the palm of her sister's hands, a testament to Evangeline's strategic mastery.
Just the mere thought of Evangeline's cunning and strategic prowess made her realize that it was wise never to go against her. The depth of her sister's intellect and ability to manipulate situations, had instilled a deep caution in her mind.
"Let's hurry and leave this place then, I could really use some rest," Vincent chuckled to lighten up the mood .
"Okay" Both girls nodded in unison.
With everything settled, he then pressed down on the pedal, accelerating the car forward. The engine roared to life as they drove away
In the distance, the sound of helicopters could be heard, but they paid it no mind. Their mission was complete, and there was no need to concern themselves with the aftermath at that moment.
They focused solely on moving forward, leaving the external disturbances behind and embracing the relief and satisfaction of a job well done.

Turkmenistan- Bokurdar
This place, once a small town in the middle of the desert, now resembled a scene straight out of hell. The structures that had once housed thousands of people lay in ruins, reduced to ashes and debris.
An eternal flame continued to burn, casting an eerie glow over the desolate remains of what was once a thriving community. The weight of the destruction and loss hung heavy in the air, a somber reminder of the devastation that had befallen the town.
And Amidst the fiery and hellish landscape, there stood a figure seated upon a throne crafted from magma and bones. He exuded an aura of power, appearing as a deity of fire who viewed lives as mere playthings.
However, at this moment, his face showed a deep sense of frustration. Despite his imposing presence, the turmoil within him was evident, suggesting that even those seemingly godlike can be burdened by their own struggles.
"That power..." Diablo gritted his teeth in anger, his eyes narrowing as he sensed a sudden surge of energy that instinctively stirred fear within him. The overwhelming force emanating from this new source was something he had only encountered in the depths of the demon world. Its presence here, in the mortal realm, unsettled him greatly.
The realization that there was another being capable of unleashing such immense power left him with a mix of frustration and concern. He understood that a potential formidable adversary now stood in his path, one who had the potential to rival his own strength.
"Impossible! I am Diablo, why would I be afraid of anyone?" He sneered in contempt, attempting to stabilize his anger. He initially believed that he was the strongest being on the planet now, especially since his former allies were still trapped and unable to challenge him.
Furthermore, he had encountered numerous supernaturals who proved to be significantly weaker than him. The only reason he found himself in this predicament was due to the sheer numbers against him.
But as both sides remained in a standstill despite him being alone, it became evident that the current generation of supernaturals had grown significantly weaker compared to their predecessors. The aftermath of the war had taken its toll, diminishing the overall strength and power of supernaturals in this era.
However, now, it seemed that his previous assumption might not be the case at all. The emergence of this unknown being, wielding such formidable power, shattered his perception of the current state of supernaturals.
Reluctantly, he couldn't deny the overwhelming amount of energy he felt, surpassing even the power he had attained when he upgraded his domain to the personal rank.
"I don't recognize that energy at all. This person is someone I haven't met yet," he muttered to himself, deep in thought as he attempted to unravel the mystery surrounding the identity of the unknown being.
"Regardless, I will still kill anyone who dares to challenge me!" he sneered in contempt, his pride as a demon lord fueling his arrogance.
Despite the unknown being's formidable power, Diablo's confidence remained unshaken. He refused to let anyone or anything undermine his dominance, and the prospect of facing a worthy adversary only further stoked his determination to prove his superiority.
"We will meet in the future!" Diablo's voice resonated with anger and pride, infusing his words with a sense of overwhelming intensity.
