Chapter 112 Artifact Fragments
"...That was just too close." wiping away the cold sweat from his forehead, Old Dan straightened his posture and looked at the still crimson sky.
"It seems the mutation will last a little while longer so we have to wait."
"Why don't we just go and fetch the Realm Core?" Raven asked as he knew that way they would be able to leave this place sooner.
However, Old Dan just shook his head.
"We can't. First of all, this Realm Domain has already Evolved twice, meaning if we collect the Realm Core it will collapse and the Realm Domain will vanish forever."
"Secondly, while it is easy to say to collect the Realm Core, just because this domain is a Harvester-type of Domain it's center still holds large dangers. In fact, within this whole domain, most Watchers are wandering around the Realm Core. With our current situation, it would be foolish for us to attempt collecting the Realm Core."
Then, after taking a soft breath, he continued, "Lastly, without the Realm Association's permission, we cannot collect the Realm Core, especially not because it is, once again, a Harvester-type Domain from where large amounts of resources are collected monthly."
"Then we will wait here?" Raven raised a brow.
"Unless you have a special Relic that can let us leave we have no other choice." Old Dan shrugged.
Raven upon seeing his father's casual shrug and sighed before he decided to continue to collect his remaining rewards.
'128,000 Astral Cores, 12 Rune Pills, 12 Middle Piece Artifact Crystals, 8 High-Grade Healing Pills, 8 Artifact Fragments, and 1 Relic which couldn't be duplicated.' Raven thought and summoned 6 middle-sized crystals into his hand.
Then, with a sudden move, he smashed three above his Artifact, increasing its Grade to Arcane and its form to Complete in a flash!
[Warning! Your Artifact no longer can be enhanced with Middle Piece Artifact Crystals!]
'Thought so.' Raven sighed when he saw how he failed to shatter the remaining 3 crystals.

'My Mystique is still too low, huh?' Raven showed a bittersweet smile before he summoned his 8 Artifact Fragments.
'A jigsaw piece?' Raven raised a brow when he saw 8 jigsaw pieces lying in the middle of his palm.
"You are truly something else..." Old Dan beside Raven sighed with a defeated smile and said, "With that Title and Relics of yours you can easily grow twice if not thrice faster than anyone else. Perhaps this is why you have been imprisoned for three years."
Raven looked at Old Dan silently before he asked, "How do I use these?"
"Just grab one and make it touch a Fragmented Artifact. Of course, if you have one.' Old Dan quickly replied to which Raven nodded and did just as he was told, grabbing one Artifact Fragment and making it touch his Monarch's Crown.
Whoosh!
[Fragmented Artifact: Monarch's Crown gained one Artifact Fragment! (1/3)]
'So I need two more?' Raven hummed with wonder and grabbed two more Artifact Fragments.
Whoosh!
[Congratulations! You have successfully mended your Fragmented Artifact, turning it into a True Artifact!]
[Do you wish to choose True Artifact: Monarch's Crown as your second True Artifact?]
[Warning! You can only possess a total of 3 True Artifacts!]
'...'
Both Raven and Old Dan stared at the floating panel in silence before the latter looked at the former and inquired, "So what will you do?"
Raven remained still and pondered. After all, this was an incredibly tough choice to decide on.
After contemplating for minutes straight Raven sighed and asked, "Are there any Fragmented Artifacts that are sold in the Star Treasury?"
"There are. However, their price is in the skies. They are insanely expensive." Old Dan replied with a wry smile.
"I see. Then I will decide whether I should collect this as my second True Artifact or not." Raven waved his hand as he made the panel vanish, causing the Monarch's Crown to disappear also.
It seemed now he no longer will be able to use it.
TREMBLE!!!
"It seems the mutation has finally ended." Old Dan exclaimed out loud as the sky turned back to normal, no longer glowing with crimson color.
"Let's get out of here," Raven said to which Old Dan agreed with a firm nod.
"I will bring you to Luna, however, as Domain Mutation happened just now I will have to go and report it to the Realm Association. Once I finish there I will come and pick you guys up." once inside the vehicle and starting the engine, Old Dan spoke to Raven calmly.
"Sure. Maybe I can also help Lulu to clear the Realm Domain."
"With your current strength?" Old Dan almost laughed and shook his head, "Don't get me wrong, the fact you were able to soar so many Ranks is truly terrifying, however, compared to Luna and the Rank Requirement of that Realm Domain, you are still too weak."
"You would be just a hindrance to both her and her party."
"Is that so?" Raven mumbled as he shifted his gaze at the scenery outside of the window that looked like a blur because of how fast they were traveling.
'Well, we will see about that.'
