Chapter 275 Heroine's Love Fighting (Final)
Lucan and Reshmi watched as Bing suddenly unleashed an enormous surge of magic, sending a pulse of freezing energy into the air. A thick wall of ice erupted around her, forming an impenetrable barrier that shimmered in the cold light. The temperature in the area plummeted, frost creeping over the ground and crackling as it expanded.
The ice barrier was not just defensive—it was healing Bing as well, a faint glow radiating from within as her wounds began to close.
Lucan cursed under his breath. Bing had used every ounce of her remaining strength to create this cocoon of ice. It wasn't just a shield; it was a fortress designed to give her time to recover and return. He could see the magic working—her body mending, her energy rebuilding. The fight was far from over, but now they were on the clock.
Reshmi approached the barrier, her tan skin glistening in the cold air, completely unfazed by the freezing temperatures. Without hesitation, she drew back her fist and slammed it into the ice with all her might. The ground shook from the impact, and a few cracks appeared on the surface of the ice, but they were shallow, barely scratches compared to the thickness of the barrier.
"Damn," she muttered, stepping back and flexing her fingers as the ice began to reseal itself. "This is solid. We can break it, but not fast enough."
Lucan studied the barrier carefully, "She used everything she had left to make this," he said. "If we try to break through, it'll take hours. Three to five at least, and by then, she'll be back to full strength. We'll have lost any advantage we had."
Reshmi nodded, her eyes never leaving the ice. She understood the situation as well as he did. Bing was a formidable opponent at her best, and once she emerged from this barrier, she'd be ready to fight again, Breaking through wasn't a viable option—not with the time they had.
"How long, exactly?" Reshmi asked, rolling her shoulders as she prepared for the worst. "Three to five hours, you said?"
Lucan nodded. "At least. And even then, we'd be too drained from trying to break this thing to fight her effectively."
Reshmi considered that for a moment, her sharp gaze never leaving Bing's icy prison. Finally, she exhaled and cracked her knuckles. "You go. Help Maris. I'll stay here and make sure Bing doesn't get away. When she comes out, she'll have to go through me."
Lucan hesitated for a moment, looking at her with concern. "Are you sure? Bing's going to be at full power once this thing finishes healing her. And she won't be in human but dragon form which will be difficult for you."
Reshmi shot him a confident grin, her short hair blowing slightly in the cold wind. "I'm not scared of a little ice dragon. If she wants to fight me again when she's healed, she's welcome to try beside," she added, with a shrug, "I think you can help Maris more than me."
Lucan knew exactly what she was talking about. Nyx. The most powerful Evil Magician, and the one Maris was facing right now. A fight like that was beyond anything Lucan could handle in his normal state. The only way he could help Maris was to use his Evil Magic.
"I don't like leaving you here alone," Lucan admitted, glancing back at the ice barrier. "But you're right. Maris needs help."
Reshmi gave him a reassuring nod. "You won't be any use to Maris if you're stuck here smashing ice all day. Go. I can handle Icey. Besides, she won't be coming out for hours. That gives me time to rest and prepare."
"I'll hold you to that," Lucan said.
Reshmi's lips curved into a smirk. "I'll be fine. Now get out of here before I have to punch you for stalling."
Lucan chuckled despite the tension. "Alright. Just… don't do anything reckless."
"I'm the last person you need to worry about."
He turned his back to her, ready to head off in the direction of Maris. But as he took a few steps, he stopped. Something gnawed at him, a lingering sense of dread. He glanced over his shoulder at Reshmi one last time. She was already standing guard near the ice barrier, her posture relaxed but her muscles coiled like a spring, ready to strike when the moment came.
Lucan forced himself to keep moving, knowing that every second he spent worrying about Reshmi was another second Maris was facing Nyx alone. He needed to get to her—quickly—and the only way to make a difference in her fight was to use the Evil Magic.
Lucan doesn't mind using Evil Magic, even if he got exposed, he doesn't care much but he didn't want to use it unless it's absolute necessity.
And, the Nyx with power of space would be too much for Maris, and with his evil magic he can help.
As Lucan disappeared into the distance, Reshmi stood still, watching over Bing's icy fortress. The air around her was heavy with tension, the promise of another battle looming over the horizon. She took a deep breath, calming herself, as her eyes focused on the barrier in front of her.
"Three to five hours," she muttered to herself, flexing her fists. "Plenty of time to get ready."
And with that, she settled in to wait. Bing would come out eventually, and when she did, Reshmi would be ready.

"Wings." Suddenly, black wings appeared behind Lucan, and he set off to help Maris.
Lucan wasn't worried about the final boss before, but now he needed to be.
In the game, the final boss was only a Kingdom Class opponent—a nameless man whose only goal was to kill the Saint. But in this world, it was a woman.n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Not just a woman, but an Empire Class, and she had the potential to become Region Class.
This woman had brains too. She had managed to bring the Dark Fairy Queen Lilith, The Mistress of Shadows, the most talented person in the world; the Holy Phoenix Iris, The Immortal Flame, the most powerful phoenix; and the Ancient Ice Dragon Bing, The Frost Sovereign, the strongest Ice user who once froze an entire region.
Nyx had released these three and brought them under her control. This had been completely beyond Lucan's calculations, and even worse, they were far stronger than he had anticipated, which lead to death of the Fairy Queen Elysia and the Scarlet Phoenix Liora.
