Chapter 52 - New Journey
52 Chapter 52 - New Journey
"Um... Master, who is this vampire on your back?" Seraphina asked, her voice laced with an amusing mix of curiosity and anxiety, twiddling her fingers.
"Sera, there's much more to discuss and catch up on. So, hush now, and follow me without any more questions," Bong replied, taking the lead.
"Yes, as you command, Master," Seraphina responded with newfound politeness.
"Hey you, don't just lie there. Do you plan to set up camp for the night? Move your lazy behind!" Seraphina shouted at Eclipse, urging him to get moving and follow the Master.
"I still don't know what's happening. Soulshifter won't talk to me, and she's suddenly yelling at me? Am I cursed or something?" Eclipse was utterly confused by the sudden turn of events.
As all the servants and Bong prepared to embark on their journey to the Twilight Sanctum after so many adventures and mysteries that had unfolded before them, Bong's eagerness to learn grew. He was eager to discover everything, especially the untold story behind the boss's curse. Who had inflicted it upon her?
Who were their enemies, and who could they ally with to revive the Vampire race, a race on the brink of extinction? Additionally, Bong was curious about the world he currently inhabited. There were so many questions swirling in his mind as he soared toward their destination. His eyes sparkled with a mix of concern and hope, and in this moment, he found a new purpose in his long and eventful adventure.
Bong deliberately slowed his pace to match that of Eclipse and Seraphina, all of them soaring under the gentle moonlight. The atmosphere was charged with happiness and anticipation as they embarked on this new adventure together. They were not just adventurers; they were bearers of hope, driven by newfound purpose in their lives.
This group, led by Bong, was a testament to the mysteries of the world. Bong himself was a reincarnated soul, his previous life a riddle yet to be unraveled. They were also haunted by questions about their enemies, the enigmatic System, and the very existence of primordial gods. The path ahead was cloaked in the unknown, and every decision they made was a step into a world filled with secrets.
Despite these uncertainties, Bong found solace in the fact that he wasn't alone on this journey. He wasn't just humanity's last hope; he was a beacon of revival for a fallen race, and a harbinger of vengeance against those who had wronged him and others. His journey was no longer a solitary one; it had become a collective quest shared by all, united by a common purpose against a common foe.
They gently descended near the Twilight Sanctum, their feet touching the ground as they prepared to return home after their long journey. Bong instructed Seraphina to carefully take the weakened boss from his back, and together, they entered the sanctum.
Once inside, Bong wasted no time. He called upon the Cave Builder function, knowing that they needed to expand and fortify their home to accommodate their new member and enhance their security.
System, display the current CP, " Bong commanded.

"That should suffice, considering what we've gathered and the new addition to our team," Bong remarked with satisfaction.
Bong then embarked on the task of reconstructing the Twilight Sanctum. Currently consisting of three underground floors, he aimed to reconfigure it into a four-floor structure. This expansion would not only accommodate their new member under his command but also provide space for his throne room and additional quarters.
To create the new fourth floor, Bong began by using his command on System Cave Builder function, then System began to manipulate the stone and earth beneath the Twilight Sanctum.
With a wave of his hand, mostly for show in front of his companions, he caused the ground to shift and rise, forming a sturdy foundation for the additional level. He then crafted the walls and ceilings, shaping the space to his liking. Finally, he infused the area with enchantments to ensure its stability and security, completing the transformation from a three-floor structure to a four-floor one.
"You know, Eclipse, I've always been amazed at how our master can reshape this place from a simple cave into a multi-layered dungeon. His power is truly something, " Seraphina marveled at Bong's power.
"Yes, Seraphina, his abilities are quite extraordinary. He's like a magician, transforming rocks into rooms and passages, " Eclipse chimed in.
"Indeed, it's almost as if he can mold reality itself, " Seraphina nodded enthusiastically, clearly impressed. With a lighthearted cough, Bong interjected, urging them forward into the depths of the newly expanded dungeon.
"Cough, cough. Let's move along, my friends. We've got much to catch up on and discuss, " As they continued their journey, Bong couldn't help but smile inwardly, knowing that Eclipse and Seraphina attributed his powers of transformation to him when, in reality, it was the enigmatic System that orchestrated the changes in their subterranean abode.
As they descended the winding staircase to the new fourth floor, Bong asked Seraphina to gently lay her on a bed to rest. They all gathered in the room, anxiously waiting for her to wake up. Bong, exhausted from their adventure, couldn't fight off sleep any longer. Slowly, he lost control of his transformation, and he turned back into his original bat form. The room they were in was dimly lit.
Bong was sound asleep in his chair, completely drained from the effort of maintaining his transformed state for so long. He had exhausted his mana to the point where he couldn't sustain the form any longer, causing him to revert to his original bat form.
Oblivious to what was happening around him, Eclipse noticed Bong's impending fall and rushed forward just in time to catch him.
"Phew, I made it in time," Eclipse sighed with relief. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
But just as Eclipse celebrated his timely catch, Seraphina, who was a bit late to catch up with his speed, suddenly appeared and gave Eclipse a playful shove. Bong went soaring through the air, and Seraphina deftly caught him.
"Why? Why? What did I do to deserve this? " Eclipse protested, his voice filled with puzzlement at Seraphina's unexpected action.
Amidst all the noise, she woke up. She felt groggy and her head hurt. When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Eclipse on the floor. She was confused, couldn't remember much, and everything seemed blurry. She didn't know where she was or how she got there. It was like her recent memories were covered by a thick fog.
"Ahh, you're finally awake, Who might you be? And why did our master bring you along, stashing you on his back like a backpack? " Seraphina greeted her with an exaggeratedly innocent expression, her tone was playfully mocking, with a hint of jealousy beneath the words.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
