Chapter 169: Southeast II
Chapter 169: Southeast II
---I guess I have to find out more about myself.
Dawn thought as he knew that he was a special goblin. And it was probably because he was special that Oz...was friendly to him.
Dawn couldn't escape or look away from it now. After all, it was affecting things related to him.
The Blessings of the Battlefield, and his identity...Dawn had to find out about it.
Dawn has to find out about those two things so that he would be able to avoid confusion about certain situations.
And knowing about those two things would surely bring him the knowledge that he could use in any situation.
However, it was not the time to know about that, yet. It was not the time to think about the results and the advantages.
After all, Dawn...was still weak. If the Blessings of the Battlefield was a person and was the one giving the goblins' powers, that being was probably a god.
And that was why Dawn had to wait until he becomes stronger. He has to work hard and force himself to become stronger so that...he could kill the bastard.
So that he could kill the bastard who was probably playing with the whole race of goblins!
Well, Dawn wasn't still sure about that, but the fact that the Blessings of the Battlefield informed Dawn that it was happy with Dawn's doubts means something.
It meant that Dawn was being watched and led upon by this mysterious being.
---This fucking piece of shit...
Dawn thought as his eyes turned red once more from anger. After all, he ended up remembering again.
Well, Dawn was able to calm himself as it was not the time to rage about this.
Right, it was not time.
It was then that Dawn heard a chuff coming from Oz as Oz felt that the goblins were all ready now.
It seems that Oz was used to situations like these as he didn't even overreact.
And he even reminded Dawn about the goblins and such. It was truly convenient for Dawn to have Oz.
Anyway, Dawn received the message and was able to return back to reality.
And as soon as he did, he quickly spoke as he pointed to the east.
He pointed as he looked at the trees beyond the trees in front of him.
"Forward, Oz." And that was all Dawn said.
Of course, his voice resounded out in this place as it was eerily quiet.
None of the goblins spoke, not even Moris and the little goblin.
They didn't offer any pieces of advice to the king even though they were doing that ever since they started this hunt.
Why? It was because they were concentrating to hold to the Lion Tiger's legs.
And it was also because they knew how fast and strong the Lion Tiger was.
They knew that if they even let out a bit of their concentration, they would fall off in no time at all.
Right, and that was proven as the Lion Tiger...Oz bent his legs!
Oz bent his legs to properly propel himself forward, and with his dense muscle, and strength, Oz jumped forward as he disappeared!
Oz disappeared as he appeared right back in the sky as he flew!
It was amazing how he could fly, but that was definitely not flying!
That was just Oz's hang time in the air as he jumped with all of his strength!
In fact, the land that he was standing on top when he jumped was destroyed and had caved in due to his strength!
And it was because of this show of strength that Dawn was satisfied.
Of course, Dawn was also holding some parts of Oz's mane as Dawn knew that he could get thrown off if he got too complacent.
The power gap that the Great King of the Jungle and the Goblin King was huge.
Dawn knew that very well, and that was why he was taking precautions from falling off.
Anyway, Dawn was satisfied that Oz could even fly in the air just because he jumped with all of his strength.
Dawn thought that the time they spent waiting for the moon and Oz to come out was well spent just because of this.
He thought that it was also the right decision to risk things when he faced Oz.
He thought that...his instincts were still right and the best among the rest as his instincts were the thing that helped him get Oz.
Well, Dawn still didn't know why Oz was friendly to him. However, it was the fact that it was his instincts that moved forward and showed himself to Oz.
If Dawn didn't leave his body to his instincts, Dawn would probably still be in the forest watching the Lion Tiger sleep.
After all, Dawn knew the power gap that they had. Even if Dawn was fearless and sure of himself, Dawn would still be wary of the Lion Tiger.
However, his instincts were able to push that away as it literally made Dawn walk forward.
---Good, Good, Good.
Dawn thought as he looked down on the forest from above. Of course, Oz soon came down to the ground as his hang time soon ended on the air.
After all, it's not like Oz could actually fly. He wouldn't be a Lion Tiger if he could. He would have a unicorn.
Anyway, Oz still soon did the same thing again as he propelled himself to jump once more.
The goblins tightened their hold on Oz's body as they now knew how it was to fly together with Oz.
The air that their body was colliding with was enough to make them fall even if they used all of their strength to hold.
Of course, the only reason why they were able to even stay in the air with Oz is because Oz was considerate to them.
He was letting them grip his body better and tighter by letting loose his muscles.
It was amazing if you think about how he was using all of his powers with jumping, but also letting loose.
It was truly a weird concept, but obviously, Oz didn't care about that as he flew in the air with his master.
And their destination was the southeast, where Dawn would conduct his experiment to know if the Blessings of the Battlefield could stop giving blessings or not.
And it wouldn't be long until they reach their destination as Oz and the goblins soon entered the perimeters of the southeast.
****
While Oz and the goblins were flying in the air to go to the southeast, there was someone who was watching the skies of the southeast.
Of course, it was a monster, and the monster was currently standing from afar.
Right, the monster was able to see Oz and the others fly through the sky even though the monster was very far from them.
It was crazy, but this monster's eyes were just that special.
And it seems that the monster had something to do as it quickly whipped its head towards something and started running.
The monster was able to escape this scene quickly, and the monster was able to reach its destination.
Its destination was...a village that seems so big that even Dawn's whole village would seem small when compared to this.
Of course, the monster was able to enter this big village rather quickly.
The monsters in the village didn't bat the monster that ran inside an eye, and they just went through their daily lives.
The monsters in the village were varying from each other; there were monkeys, rhino, apemen, skeletons, worms, bugs, insects.
Of course, that was not all the monsters here. They were just a part of the many in the village.
One could probably see the forest's monsters in here. That was how...varied the monsters living in here were.
Anyway, the monster who saw Oz flying in the sky soon reached its destination in the village.
Its destination was a high-standing mass of land. Right, it was just a mass of land that had a sharp point on top.
However, to these monsters living here, this mass of land was a symbol of power.
It was a symbol of power, and whoever was resting on top of it was the lord!
And the one...three monsters currently sitting on top of the mass of land, the symbol of power, were hyenas that had the body of a human.
It was a weird sight, but no one cares about that at all. Strength is what matters here, and the three hyenas were the strongest monsters!
And the monster who saw Oz flying in the sky and went straight to the symbol of power was also a hyena. However, this hyena was clearly weak as it didn't look as impressive as the hyenas resting on top of the symbol of power.
Anyway, the hyena who saw Oz soon spoke in its mother tongue to the three hyenas.
"Malaskit gprah grauh shiza!" The hyena said as it moved its pout.
Of course, the three hyenas were able to hear it. And the message was...
Unknown enemy, danger.
