Chapter 121: Returning home (31)
Chapter 121: Returning home (31)
"Rocks?" Razta muttered as he looked at the sky move.
It was night, and that was one of the reasons why the sky was dark.
However, Razta knew that it was something else.
And that something also made the sky move.
It was pretty obvious to Razta, but he just couldn't believe it.
Razta couldn't believe that the sky was filled with rocks that were about to fall to the ground and hit the wolf!
Tak! Tak! Tak! Tak!
The rocks finally fell to the ground, and it resounded out in this place.
However, Razta was forced to get away from where he was currently.
After all, the rocks were also bouncing off towards where he was.
"Shit!" Razta cursed as he stood and ran.
However, he didn't have any destination, and that was why he tried to look for one.
And when he did, he was surprised out of his wits! He was shocked beyond belief, and his eyes widened until it looked like they were about to pop out!
"What the hell...is that?" Razta said as his steps slowed down.
He slowed down until he finally stopped running. Even though there were still some rocks hitting him, Razta didn't care about that now.
After all, a mountain suddenly appeared in the forest!
What's more, Razta could see some familiar goblins on that mountain and around it!
It was then that Razta realized it, realized where the rocks came from.
And that was why he decided to run towards that as well.
****
"Wos, Mos! Where the hell did you get that?!" Razta said as soon as he arrived near the mountain of rocks.
It was incredibly big, but the mountain of rocks was getting smaller, second by second.
After all, many goblins were grabbing a rock and throwing it to the wolf without any rest.
Of course, it would run out sooner or later.
"I thought of it. I saw you throwing that rock earlier, and that was when it hit me. I made the other goblins gather the rock, and it was easy enough."
Wos spoke as he turned his body towards Razta. And his face immediately turned into a frown.
After all, Razta's body was full of wounds and shallow injuries that it wouldn't be weird for him to die any time now.
"Hmm. Do you think that'll kill the wolf?" Razta said as he whipped his head towards the wolf.
Although the wolf couldn't fight back against the rocks, Razta didn't think that they would be able to kill the wolf with rocks alone.
After all, the wolf was able to stand against it. He wasn't even running.
Well, that was because of what happened to the wolf's leg.
Even though Razta missed, his power and strength were the real deal as it essentially crippled the wolf.
"I don't think so. This is just buying time and giving shallow injuries to the wolf." Wos said as he spoke.
The reason why his face turned into a frown when he first saw Razta was because he knew his condition.
He devised this plan of throwing rocks at the wolf under the premise that there would be someone finishing off the wolf.
And that someone is, of course, the strongest goblin, Razta.
However, Wos knew that Razta was nothing right now.
Although he didn't know that Razta couldn't use Aura anymore, Razta's physical condition was just that bad.
After all, Razta was inside the wolf's mouth just a while ago.
There's no way he would have made a perfect recovery in just a minute and then be able to battle without getting a single injury.
That was why Wos was feeling pressured right now. After all, once the rocks run out, they won't have any way to stop the wolf from killing them.
However, there was still a piece of hope. And that was Razta may still be able to fight.
After all, Razta hasn't said anything about his condition at all.
That was why Wos considered asking Razta, but it seems like there's no need for that, as Razta spoke.
After all, Razta knew what Wos was thinking. It was easy to guess when he heard Wos' explanation.
"Yeah. It's as you think. I can't fight anymore." Razta said as calmly as possible.
After all, it was something that would bring despair to the goblins right now.
"I don't see us winning this fight."
Razta continued as he looked a the mountain.
The mountain was almost out of the game, and it would be completely gone after a few minutes.
And that means that they would have no cover against the wolf.
"It's either we die trying, or we retreat and stay alive."
Razta said as he looked at the goblins here.
"What do you bastards wanna do?"
What do you want to do? Razta asked this question to the other blessed goblins.
After all, this battle was completely lost. There's no other way to win.
Even the goblin's advantages, numbers, didn't work against this wolf.
The strongest goblin was out of the game, and the other blessed goblins were tired too.
This situation was just...depressing.
It was that bad.
It was then that Mos spoke up.
"Do you really have to ask us that?" He said as he smiled.
His eyes glowed in the dark as the other goblins looked at him.
They knew what he was about to say, and they all agreed with him.
After all, there's no other way for goblins other than this.
"We die trying."
We die trying. That was all the goblins here could do right now.
There's no running in the goblin's dictionary when it is for the king.
And this battle is for the king. They will try to make the wolf as tired as possible and leave it to the next batch of goblins.
That was all they could do.
"Good. We die trying." Razta said as he whipped his head back to the wolf.
His death was coming, but Razta didn't feel scared at all.
After all, his comrades had his back.
"Let's go."
Tak! The last rock dropped to the ground, and the full body of the wolf resurfaced to the goblin's vision.
"Grrr!" The wolf growled as he saw the ones who dare to make him take a shower of rocks.
However, the goblins wasted no time as Razta ordered it.
He ordered the goblins to run to their deaths!
"We die trying!!!"
Dududu! The goblins ran to their deaths as mad as possible!
It was then that something completely unexpected happened.
Boom!
And that was...
"Ahuuuu!"
The wolf ran.
