Murong Si who was chopping onions paused and turned to look at Murong Zeng. He lightly said, "Do you think that it makes any difference? I am still engaged to Miss Tong and the entire village knows it too. As far as I know, Mother will have to marry me away even if she doesn't want to, so what's the point of getting angry?"

Murong Si was aware of the fact that even if his mother was not happy with this marriage now, she would still get him married to Yu Tong. Because the matter of having a connection with Yu Dong was not a temptation that his mother would be able to ignore.

At most, she would try to get as many benefits as she could in this situation.

So, what was the point of worrying about it?

"As for him suppressing me," Murong Si curled his lips. His hand raised in the air before he brought it down on the onions harshly. "I don't think that will ever happen."

She then turned to look at Old Madam Murong who was standing in front of them. Yu Dong smiled at Old Madam Murong and her daughter before saying, "Let's sit down, shall we? We can always discuss this matter while sitting down."
