Chapter 443 Thirty More
The number of tokens that he made was certainly a lot. However, aside from giving most of them to his shelters, the rest would be stored and would slowly be sold in the market.
After all, he can't just sell them all in the market, or their value will decrease quickly.

'Well… I'm now running two Shelters, I need a lot of money.' Shane considered for a moment. He didn't feel ashamed doing this kind of method to earn more money.
The Springriver Manor may be self-sufficient at the moment but they also have a lot of expenses. After all, the Zombies attacking them weren't getting any weaker. They need constant supplies of food, potions, weapons, and materials to maintain their shelter.
Shane then arranged for these tokens to be distributed. He selected Lysandra to do this and also to make an announcement at their rally point. He wanted everyone to know that he was also planning to give more tokens to people who had performed outstandingly within the shelter.
This way, he could ensure everyone would work hard to obtain them.
'That should be it…' Shane muttered as he looked at the time. It was already late.
It was already time to sleep.

Shane woke up early in the morning. He had a plan for today, and that was to increase their population… Of course, it was through the recruitment process.
At this time, Shane held a total of thirty Normal Recruitment Stones in his pouch. After gathering a lot of them at once, Shane could feel the energy pulsing through each of them.
'Let's begin…'
He took a breath and activated all of them at once. There were a lot of them but since they were only Normal Recruitment Stones, they shouldn't cause a lot of commotion.
It was Shane's thought before he saw the situation outside the estate.
In an instant, a gray fog appeared outside the camp. This phenomenon happened so swiftly, almost without any signs at all.
This scene wasn't that new to most residents, so those who had woken up early and saw the phenomenon weren't panicking. They were simply curious about the people who would be recruited this time.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Anyway, the situation continued for quite some time as it cloaked the grounds outside his camp in thick mist.
Moments later, the fog dissipated, leaving behind thirty individuals standing in awe… Well, their expressions shifted from bewilderment to sudden excitement.
They must be happy to be alive, at the very least.
Shane then carefully observed these newly arrived people. He was quite curious about the balance of people. Well, he wanted to at least have a balanced number of males and females for the sake of his camp's future development.
'Mhmm… They look clean at the very least.' Shane thought as he confirmed that none of them seemed like beggars.
Each one of them wore simple, worn attire that showed various marks of their profession. Shane looked at their faces and hands and confirmed that these were not fighters but skilled workers, craftsmen, and laborers.
Shane watched them as they glanced around the perimeter of the shelter.
Some of them couldn't believe that they were finally out of the mysterious gray fog, but some immediately accepted their fate and were worried that the Foreign Survivors weren't good enough or would use people like them as replaceable manpower.
Anyway, it didn't take long before everyone recalled the voice they heard prior to being summoned here.
The voice said that they were called to serve a Foreign Survivor who would lead them in this apocalyptic world.
Immediately, their eyes then fell on Shane, whose presence exuded an unmistakable aura of strength…
For some reason, they immediately felt that this person was the Foreign Survivor they were looking for.
There was no doubt about it, so almost immediately, they moved to stand in neat lines before him. They wanted to appear proper and introduce themselves to the new lord.
"Welcome," Shane said warmly…
The newly arrived people felt comfortable after hearing Shane's welcome.
"You are now part of this camp, and together, we'll make sure to protect it and thrive. I'm not sure what specific ability you have yet, but I know that each of you has skills we need to develop our place.... I hope everyone would not hold back showing your skills, since I also planned to reward those who were working hard."
Everyone felt excited as they were planning to work hard for their shelter in the first place.
Anyway, Shane took a moment to talk to each of them, noting the diversity of trades represented.
After a few minutes, he finally arranged the group. After all, most of them do not know each other. So those with similar classes must know about the people with the same profession.
After arranging them, Shane looked at the group standing at the front.
They were artisans and craftsmen. They were a handful of carpenters, and Shane could tell just from a glance that they had years of experience in their jobs. Their fingers were rough and thick from years of working wood.
Anyway, there were also two stonemasons who had experience working for four years.
These people would surely be a huge help, especially in the mines.
It didn't end there…
Thankfully, Diana would have more assistance since he had also recruited a metalworker who had a long years of experience in the trade. Furthermore, this metalworker was also a woman… She was older than Diana by 20 years, and Shane could see the faintest marks of old burns and cuts from her countless hours at the forge.
'I hope Diana could learn from her if she wanted to continue with her profession.' Shane mused and paused for a moment.
'With these people, the expansion of the camp would be a lot faster…' Shane thought.
Of course, he also planned to make the mining site sturdier and these people would work together. However, seeing these people made him feel that his Silver Mine Camp was finally starting to feel like a true village or town.
Anyway, behind these two craftsmen stood those with agricultural skills.
They were all farmers and planters who had their hands already dirty from soil and who would undoubtedly bring new life to the camp's food supply.
Their presence was a small relief to Shane, as food security had been a growing concern. There was even a young fisher among the group, but they probably had to take a different path since they didn't have access to a large body of water.
They only have a small river nearby, and fish would just rarely appear from this place. This fisherman also had a terrifying story before being saved by the gray fog… After talking with him for a bit, this young man seemed to be planning to serve a god that he knew since he was young. He couldn't help but feel pity knowing that there weren't any religions in this place…
'Well, that's not something I can control. Our shelter is just quite new.' Shane explained that he had never recruited a priest of a shaman who would insist on making a temple in his territory.
Anyway, some of the newcomers were tailors.
Shane wanted these talented people a lot….
Thankfully, they brought their tools with them so they could immediately start working.
As these tailors entered the shelter, their eyes focused on the camp's gear. Needless to say, they were already thinking about repairing, reinforcing, and improving the Survivors' attire for the harsh conditions they would face.
Aside from that, were also miners in the surroundings. Shane couldn't help but feel excited. These people were the foundation of a thriving society. They needed these people to improve the foundation of their shelter.
As they looked up at him, Shane continued. "Our purpose here is survival, but not just for ourselves. We're working to reclaim this world, piece by piece. Each one of you has been summoned because you have something important to contribute."
One of the carpenters, a middle-aged man with broad shoulders and calloused hands, stepped forward and gave a respectful nod. "We understand, my lord. If you'll have us, we'll work to build a strong foundation for this place." His voice carried a tone of loyalty that Shane was familiar with.
Another recruit, a young woman with soot-stained hands, whom Shane recognized as the blacksmith, spoke up…
"I can work the forge and repair weapons, tools, and armor. I may need supplies, but I promise you'll have the best equipment I can make. I just need your promise that I can get compensated for my hard work…"
Shane nodded and assured the lady.
Beside her, one of the farmers nodded and added and also promised to tend the land and grow what he could as long as they wouldn't get hungry.
Seeing their earnest faces, Shane felt satisfied, and for the next few hours, he assisted them in getting familiar with their new surroundings.
What do you think?
