Gu Jin did not say anything upon hearing the captain's words; instead, he just looked the man in the eye and made a move.

With a speed faster than the eye could see, Gu Jin appeared right in front of him and raised his foot to kick the captain in the back of the head.

The soldiers trembled in fear, seeing their captain's face now embedded in the floor, blood leaking from his head. Even though they could sense vitality from him, he was barely hanging on to his life.

Gu Jin looked at the rest of them, which made their scalps go numb. They hurriedly looked down, not daring to make eye contact with him.

"Hump! Two of you, take this trash back to the training grounds. I will deal with him later, and before that, make sure he does not die."

He snorted at their cowardly behavior before ignoring them and turning towards Ma Ning.

Two of the soldiers kneeling in the front hurriedly took the wounded guy away; they did not want to stay there any longer and thought of this as a good opportunity to slip away.

The rest of the soldiers also cursed their fate for not being at the front.
