Chapter 136 130 Academy (Part 1)

The release of the Sunarmon Mobile Phone would still need some time, and like the Flashpoint app, this new company from Sunarmon Technology also required promotion.

Unlike the Flashpoint app which was able to run on most of Earth's smart phone platforms at that time, thus it did not differentiate between C nation and other areas upon its launch. The Sunarmon Mobile Phone was currently being sold only within the Star Alliance.

The same was true for other products made with Iridium Star technology, although Bai Zhongqi believed that in today's global trade market, consumers from other countries would eventually receive products containing Iridium Star technology.

Even if C nation's manufacturers obtained Iridium Star technology and could produce their own products, they would not forgo a chance to make a significant impact in the global market. As for businesses from other countries reverse engineering Iridium Star technology products after acquiring them, Bai Zhongqi did not believe they had the capability.

The Chancellor was not keen on making money, as currency was of little significance to the people of Iridium Star, except during this transitional period to integrate Earth's human and other resources; it held no other significant purpose.

Since Bai Zhongqi understood the powerful manufacturing capabilities of Iridium Star, he had fully embraced the idea that productive power was the most fundamental force.

Even before the launch of the Sunarmon Mobile Phone, a select group of people had already received the product. Residents who had come to Ruyi City and Lunar Palace City, as well as those who had come for work or study, all received a Sunarmon Mobile Phone for free.

Dressed in a loose, branch-green military uniform and pulling a suitcase, Jun Jiushao curiously examined the phone handed to her.

The Bionic Human soldier responsible for welcoming new recruits explained, "This is the Sunarmon Mobile Phone that will be released in the Star Alliance member countries after a while.

Cadets at the academy receive this model ahead of others, and unlike the civilian version, this is an upgraded military version with enhanced performance and security, though it has all the standard civilian functions."

A somewhat aloof military-dressed girl standing next to Jun Jiushao asked the Bionic Human welcome officer, "It uses Sky Net, right? Can it make calls to mobile phones from our domestic carriers?"

The welcome officer smiled, "Of course, it can."

The aloof military girl looked at Jun Jiushao and greeted, "I'm Yin Qiao, formerly from the Air Force medical system."

On Jun Jiushao's clean and fair face, there was an air of transcendence, while the Air Force female doctor opposite her had a cold yet striking beauty, and yet she looked as if she had stepped out of an ink painting, appearing completely out of place with her surroundings.

"Jun Jiushao, Rocket Army." She truly embodied the saying 'speak more with less.'

However, Yin Qiao did not get upset but instead showed a slight smile, saying, "I've heard of you, please take care of me in the future."

Jun Jiushao also said, "Nice to meet you."

Yin Qiao nodded, walked with her long legs, and with the click-clack of her high heels, pulled her suitcase away.

Both were new female cadets who had just reported to the Star Alliance Military Academy, and they were among the first batch of cadets at this military institution tasked with cultivating military officers for the Universe Army.

The first batch had just over a thousand cadets, from the four major military branches of C nation, and even some who had no previous military experience but had been assessed as having potential.

The Universe Army, compared to its prior organizations, did not seem so strict. On the first day of welcoming and registration, there wasn't even a set time, nor were any activities organized; perhaps to allow the new cadets who had just arrived in Ruyi City to wander freely in this space city.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Jun Jiushao fiddled with the phone, quickly mastering some of its functions. The originally transparent glass-like phone now displayed dynamic scenes: blushing peach blossoms in spring, spilled drinks and food, and maids with small fans, all reminiscent of an ancient style.

Jun Jiushao was quite pleased with it, and her expression seemed to come alive a bit more. She casually downloaded a few apps she would use daily, and then she walked to her dormitory.

The academy had various types of dormitories to choose from. Jun Jiushao, who was reserved and not very talkative, chose a single room. She had reserved it online before coming to Ruyi City. Recognizing her door number, she approached, and an automatic recognition program identified her, saying, "Cadet Jun Jiushao, welcome to your dormitory."

The dormitory door opened, and Jun Jiushao walked in, only to see her other luggage already piled in one corner.

She stepped forward, pulled out a long box from the pile of luggage, and opened it to reveal a seven-string guqin inside.

At that moment, the room's robotic domestic assistant automatically activated, enthusiastically saying, "Miss Jiushao, I am your domestic assistant, currently nameless. You can give me a name. Do you play the guqin? That's amazing, do you need help setting it up?"

Jun Jiushao wasn't startled by the robot, but she replied rigidly, "No need."

Soon, she rummaged through her luggage and pulled out several sets of Han dresses, briefly adopting a girlish posture as she held them up against herself.

The robot asked again, "Miss Jiushao, do you need help changing clothes?"

Jun Jiushao coldly responded, "Pervert."

This made the robot feel wronged, saying, "I am your domestic assistant, helping with housekeeping and changing clothes is normal, and I am not a man, ah, or do you prefer women?"

Jun Jiushao rebuked again, "Lewd."

The robot became agitated, "What did I do? Serving you is my duty."

Jun Jiushao still responded, "No thanks."

If this robot could cry, it would certainly be in tears at this moment.

Jun Jiushao took matters into her own hands, tidying up all her belongings, placing the dresses in the wardrobe, and arranging other items around the spacious dormitory. The robot was like a bystander, watching from the side.

After a while, Jun Jiushao remembered this gadget and said, "This thing of yours, you're just a servant after all. Seeing you all in black, the heart of an artificial intelligence must not be kind either, probably very sinister. You'll be called Hei Si from now on."

This filled the robot with awe, saying, "Thank you, miss, for giving me a name. Hei Si feels like it shares a name with some mysterious and powerful existence in the universe."

Jun Jiushao squinted her eyes, her expression characteristically detached, and said, "I rather think you share a name with the stockings on ladies' legs. Sure enough, are you naturally a perverted, lewd, shameless creature?"

If this robot could bleed, it would have spewed a river of blood by now.

Jun Jiushao then said, "When miss changes clothes in the future, you go to the balcony, or else I'll take you apart and recycle you."

The maid robot named Hei Si could only weakly agree.

After arranging everything, Jun Jiushao paid no more attention to the deeply aggrieved robot. She left the dormitory and stepped outside the dormitory building.

Facing the sunshine of Ruyi City, Jun Jiushao thought, "Even though it's fake sunshine, it still feels very comfortable on the skin."
