Chapter 96 [Bonus Chapter] Falling In Line
Hissed!
Hearing Roland's nonchalant voice and how casually he mentioned the yacht's price, Martin could not help but sucked a breath of cold air.
Even Denis, who happened to hear what Roland said, also had his eyes widened in surprise.
Martin was already a multi-millionaire with a lot of business in Brine City. However, even he would still hesitate for at least a week before he could decide whether to invest in a 100,000 Global Dollar project or not.
The reason why he asked about the yacht's price was because he also planned to buy one for his own personal use. He liked the Divine Destiny's beauty a lot and he was planning to buy the same kind.
However, hearing the price, he could not help but immediately answer, "Never mind!"
Heck, even a 100,000 Global Dollars' worth of investment was still worth pondering over, how much an 800,000 Global Dollar yacht that doesn't have a business value in his opinion?
He ought to enjoy himself a little, but buying an 800,000 Global Dollar yacht seemed to be over the top right?
And yet, he knew that that was exactly what Roland and Stacey were doing right now.
Casually buying a yacht worth almost a million online.
Was this how rich people think? Are millions worth nothing to them anymore? Is this the difference between a non-WPB card holder and a WPB card holder?
The comparison and difference were quite tragic. Martin could only sigh to himself as they finally arrived in the area with a lot of people.
Ding!

[You have successfully face-slapped a person with two bystanders watching: +10 FS Points]
Roland laughed at yet another System report that flashed on his eyes. With this, he already earned a total of 60 FS Points in the span of a single hour. Although it was not a lot, it was honest work so Roland has no say to that.
Face-slapping has been quite hard nowadays. Especially because he could not purposely instigate a face-slapping scenario. Everything must be left for fate to decide.
"Excuse me. Excuse me," Denis politely requested as he slithered through the people taking pictures of the Divine Destiny.
Behind him was Martin, Roland and Stacey who also had a little trouble passing the crowd. However, with Denis leading their way, and creating a path for them to follow, they managed to arrive at the forefront with a little less time.
"Hey, what are you doing, don't cut the line. I'm still next!"
Just as they were about to get out of the crowd, a man suddenly yelled at the top of his lungs.
He was holding a digital camera in his hand as he pointed at Denis and the group fiercely.
"Line? Next? What are you trying to line up for?" Denis asked, looking at the man holding the camera curiously.
As far as he knew, there was no such thing as falling in line here in the cargo area unless you were a cargo that was about to get loaded into the ship.
But was this man a cargo? Well, it was obvious that he was not.
"What the actual fuck? You cut in line without knowing what the line is for? Of course, it's the line for taking pictures of this yacht. What else could it be? Duh!" The man rolled his eyes at Denis, finding him very irritating.
Denis' eyelid twitch being treated like that by the man. However, it seems that what he said was the truth as after the man said those words, the people behind him also echoed in agreement.
"Yes, he's right! Why are you cutting in line? I have been waiting here since thirty minutes ago. And now that I am already near, you just have to cut the line?"
"Hey, who told you to cut in line? You also reek of rotten fish, get out of the way so that everyone can take their pictures!"
As the public opinion against him intensified, Denis could finally not hold on anymore.
"Enough!" His hoar voice immediately silenced the nosy crowd. Even those from afar were attracted by the sheer might of his voice.
With his muscular body, one could say that Denis was a brute. Paired with his boorish and rough voice, his brute aura was even further amplified.
The man holding the digital camera was taken aback by Denis' bellow. However, recalling that the public opinion was on his side, he calmed his nervous nerves as he said, "Stop shouting at you barbarian."
"Do you think we are deaf? If you want to cut in line, just cut in line. No need to shout like that. However, don't think that we will just let you cut in line just like that. I assure you that you would not be able to take a single good photo with us being here, isn't that right, everyone?"
The crowd nodded in agreement.
It was only once in a lifetime opportunity that they had seen a yacht as beautiful as this, of course, they would not pass up the opportunity. Who knows how long the yacht will stay here for.
They need to at least have a picture with the yacht as the background and make it their display picture in Dissbook so that they can brag it to their friends.
"Get out of the way now, and obediently line up behind us!"
The crowd began to pressure Denis again. However, as a fisherman who always had to bargain with thrifty and demanding customers, Denis was used to such a scene.
Knowing that he was on the right because the yacht's owner was the brother of his boss, Denis simply said, "who said that I am trying to take a picture? I'm here to clear the path for the owner of this yacht, you understand?"
He glared at the crowd, not afraid of the pressure they were trying to pin to him at all.
"Huh? Stop joking! Owner? The owner of this yacht is clearly inside the yacht. Who are you trying to fool?"
"This fisherman might have thought that we were idiots, haha!"
"For real. Clear path for the owner, who does he think he is?"
The man with the digital camera also voiced out his own opinion, "You should have come up with a better joke. At least, try something a little believable?"
"I'm not joking. The owner of this yacht is him!" Denis suddenly pointed his fingers towards Martin.
The crowd traced his fingers and saw Martin's fat appearance.
Martin was also quite lowkey, only a few people knew of him on this dock site- only his employees like Denis.
When the crowd turned to look at him, none of them realized that he was a multi-millionaire who owns a lot of property in business in Brine City including the QP Hotel.
Just as they were about to laugh and insult Martin about his fat appearance, the latter suddenly moved to the side and said, "I'm not the owner. He is!"
He pointed at Roland.
Now, all eyes were drawn towards Roland and then to Stacey who had her arms still hooked in Roland's arms.
The crowd looked at Roland for a moment before they burst out laughing.
