Chapter 37: Creation of the Celestial Heavenly Sect and the Newest Invention
Nestled deep within the inner region of the Dreadshade Forest, a place shrouded in ancient mystery and enchantment, the newly constructed Celestial Heavenly Sect stood as a testament to the Su Sacred Clan's determination.
It was a place of profound spiritual significance and serene beauty.
The Celestial Heavenly Sect blended harmoniously with the natural surroundings of the forest, as if it had been grown from the very trees that enveloped it.
The architecture was a seamless fusion of traditional design and modern aesthetics.
This resulted in a structure that both honored tradition and embraced innovation.
The sect's entrance was marked by twin stone pillars, intricately carved with celestial pagodas.
A cobblestone pathway led through a dense thicket of ancient trees and into the heart of the sect.
At the back of the sect was a massive mountain with abundant spiritual energy. At the foot of the mountain was a massive ancient door.
This door led deep into the heart of the mountain, where a series of complicated formations blinked continuously.
Hovering at the center was a nine-level pagoda that hummed gently, as if it possessed sentience.
Right outside the forest, streams of people adorned with various luxury robes walked into the forest in the direction of the Celestial Heavenly Sect.
"Do you know what is going on? Why would the Su sacred clan ask us to come here?" a middle-aged man with a protruded belly asked a man walking close to him.
"I don't know, but we are about to find out," he responded.
Right in front of the group, others were discussing the strange invitation of the Su clan.
"We all knew the Su have been recruiting a lot of people in the past couple of weeks. Perhaps, what they've been doing is inside this forest," a woman said in a hushed voice.
"Right. Right. I heard since the invasion of the beast tide, the Su sacred clan had been guarding this forest," another person added.
"What are they up to?"
"With their current power and influence in Barren Land, why would they spend such a massive amount of money on the forest?" another person said with puzzlement written on his face.
"I heard this invitation was sent to all the prominent families in Barren land," a voice said from the side.
Frequently, the guests encountered Su soldiers in Metal Bone constructs, looking at them with expressionless gazes.
As the guests ventured through the dense and ancient Dreadshade Forest, their anticipation grew with every step, their imaginations running wild.
As they approached the entrance to the sect, their curiosity couldn't be contained any longer.
Passing through the massive ancient tree canopy, what they saw left them speechless.
Twin stone pillars, intricately carved with celestial pagodas, welcomed them.
In contrast to the gloomy Dreadshade forest, the two stone pillars welcomed them into a new world.
Gasps echoed from the people. For a couple of seconds, no one moved as they appreciated the intricate twin pillars.
"Come in..." one of the guards by the twin pillars reminded.
"Y-Yes. Yes," they responded and walked into the sect with their hearts racing in shock.
Is this what the Su clan had been up to? Crazy!
When they entered the sect, they were left speechless and dumbfounded.
There were many strange building designs they had never seen in their life.
After walking for another couple of meters, the people were left awestruck and numb.
The shock in their hearts had gone beyond what they could process. They could only stare at the magnificent buildings and scenery like fools.
Looking at the grand martial hall, the people sighed once again and entered.
The guests took their seats with the shock of what they'd seen still evident in their eyes.
This was the first time they were overwhelmed by the mere structures of buildings. They were totally defeated.
Previously, they thought the Su clan was powerful in the military section, but now, they realized how wrong they were.
Shortly, the martial hall was full of people. The guests sat in twos and threes, discussing the grandeur of the buildings.
Just then, a person entered, and everyone in the hall stopped their discussion.
As Huang Yin, the Barren Land Goddess, entered the martial hall in her flowing violet robe, the very air seemed to hold its breath in reverence.
She was a vision of ethereal beauty that transcended mortal comprehension, a celestial being gracing the mortal realm with her presence.
Her long robe, a deep and resplendent violet, cascaded around her like a river of twilight.
It was adorned with tiny, shimmering stars that seemed to twinkle and dance as if plucked from the very night sky.
Each star on her robe glimmered with its own radiant light, casting a soft, celestial glow upon her path.
Her ethereal beauty was so captivating that it left the mouths of some wide open.
As for Huang Yin, she didn't bat an eye at the lecherous and stunned expressions of the men inside the martial hall.
With slow, graceful steps, she walked toward a female attendee who came forward and ushered her to her seat.
Looking at the position of her seat, it left everyone stupefied.
Why would she sit beside the main seat?! Everyone wondered with incredulous looks.
Some of the prominent families exchanged subtle glances, and a look of envy and jealousy crept up on their faces.
"Sorry, everyone, for keeping you waiting," a voice said from the entrance.
Hearing the voice, everyone turned their heads to the entrance.
As Su Yen entered the martial hall, dressed in a pristine white Hanfu, he embodied an aura of timeless elegance and regal charm.
His appearance was captivating, regal, and full of royalty.
The white Hanfu, crisp and immaculate, draped gracefully over his tall and well-proportioned frame.
The fabric flowed like a silken waterfall, caressing his every movement with a whisper of elegance.
The robe's purity contrasted starkly with his raven-black hair, which fell in glossy waves to frame his face.
For a couple of seconds, the hall was in total silence.
The contrasting appearances of these two otherworldly people made the others seem unworthy of being inside the same room as them.
"Please take your seat," said Su Yen as he approached Huang Yin at the top.
Recovering from their shock, they sighed and took their seats.
Today had been so much stress that the people inside the hall wanted nothing but to escape from this torment.
However, no one dared leave the hall, remembering the domineering behavior of the Su clan.
Besides, they were all curious about what was going on and why the Su clan had built such a massive building in the middle of Dreadshade Forest.
While some could already guess what this place was about, they still kept their silence.
Seated beside Huang Yin, Su Yen reached out his hand and took her hand in his and whispered.
"You look so beautiful."
Hearing this, her aloof expression turned a shade of red, and her heart skipped a beat.
"Humph! You're only lying. Who knows how many women you've deceived with your sweet words," she managed to say without taking her hand off his palm.
"No. No. You're the only woman for me and the one in my mind..." he responded and caressed her lovingly.
"R-Really?" She said and looked at him from the corner of her eyes with her heart racing.
"Yes," he responded firmly.
After teasing Huang Yin for a couple of moments, Su Yen withdrew his hand and stood and clapped his hands.
At once, he gathered the attention of everyone as they focused their attention on him.
"Thank you all for gracing this wonderful moment..." He paused before he continued.
"I'm pleased to announce the creation of the Celestial Heavenly Sect. There would be no more Su sacred clan but the Celestial Heavenly Sect."
Looking at the dumbfounded expressions on the faces of everyone below, Su Yen had already expected this and didn't stop talking.
"Also, for the creation of the Celestial Heavenly Sect, the sect is pleased to announce its newest invention."
