Chapter 1960: The Primordial Origin Flame Dragon Soul Venerable, Fire Dragon King Surtr



As Surtr descended, Andromeda and Drake's Family and Friends stepped aside instantly. They didn't even exactly will it, but it was more like their own bodies moved out of instinct. Even the gigantic robot made out of Drake's Family and Friends combined Divinity Auras and Abilities moved away instantly, reacting to their own instincts.

As the gigantic robot stepped back alongside Andromeda, Surtr confronted the Evil Venerable, who had tricked everyone into entering his Inheritance, giving them gifts to grow stronger and everything, only because he wanted to kill them all after they grew fat enough and use their combined essence for his resurrection.

"You're only a cheap copy of my Fire Law! I admire your strength and everything, but you clearly are simply someone gifted with power and resources by others, but what about your own efforts, Surtr?! What have YOU ever accomplished on your OWN without your family doing it all for you?!"

The Venerable insulted Surtr, and he wasn't quite wrong either, Surtr agreed with his words. Since he was born that he had relied a lot on external forces and powers gifted to him to survive.

From his Unique Skills that facilitated his life, to the many allies and friends he made which helped him grow from a little helpless dragon cub into the adult divine dragon he was now.

While he could see Drake and his many accomplishments, Surtr had barely any... Other than protecting a small village of Fire Giants, his home.

"You're right, I am thankful about my family's sacrifice, and at the same time, I am quite sorrowful..."

Surtr nodded, although he was completely unmoved by the Venerable's words. He didn't seem angered, even less frustrated.
