Today was a sunny day. However, what Carolyn saw made the day feel strange. 

"Keith?" "Yeah?"

"Why are you tied to the bed like that?" One of her brows was raised as she stared at Keith. His body was wrapped with a blanket and tied to the bed. It was quite the sight. 

"Ugh, I don't want to talk about it." 

"Hah! It's because this fool tried to cook inside this room!" Craig quickly explained with a laugh.

"Huh?" A dumbfounded look formed on Carolyn's face as she stared at Keith. You tried to cook here? Do you understand that this is a hospital room?

"I couldn't help it. I was hungry." Keith tried to shrug his shoulders, but it was weird. His motions were rigid, as expected from someone being strapped down. 

"Shame on you!" "How could you cook here?"

The other patients started to jeer at him. But that caused Keith's eyes to twitch, "You guys were the ones who wanted me to cook! You guys should be strapped down as well!" How was this my fault?! This was not a one-man job; this was multiple people! 

Yes, Keith was the one who cooked. But this was only because Groa and Craig begged him to do it. That was why he summoned out a small pan and started to cook. The moment he did, the nurses busted in and found him guilty. Before Keith could have the chance to explain, those guys already jumped into bed, pretending to be asleep.

"I don't know what you're talking about." "Say that to me with a straight face!" Everyone looked away from him, trying to avoid eye contact. Even Titus didn't look at him.  

"It seems you have been having fun these last few days," Carolyn muttered.

"Can you call this fun when I'm stuck like this?" Keith didn't know whether to laugh or cry in this situation. While the two talked, 

"Keith, your lunch has arrived." A nurse rolled in a cart with their food. But when Groa saw it, "Bleh, do we have to eat this?" 

"You've been eating this for the last few days." The nurse shook her head. They had been eating the same meal; they should have gotten used to it. 

"Keith, I will feed you again."

"Eh? Feed you?" Carolyn's eyes narrowed, and she turned to Keith who explained, "I can't exactly feed myself with my hands like this." They were strapped down. So, the nurses themselves would feed him. 

"I'll do it," Carolyn muttered. The nurse blinked her eyes as she stared at her. A thought came to her mind as she nodded,

"Understood." Carolyn sat down beside his head and picked up the spoon. But that caused Keith to frown, "I really don't need you to feed me."

"Hmm? But you want the nurse to do it?"

"Not what I mean." Keith shook his head, and the spoon was shoved into his mouth. As that happened, Titus and the others had grins on their face.

Why are you guys grinning like that? He didn't know why, but he wanted to fight them. 

Eh? Keith noticed something off. But he didn't say anything as Carolyn continued to feed him. After she finished, 

"Carolyn, I heard you were training," Alfia told him about Carolyn being focused on her skills. That was why she wasn't there with the rest. 

"Yeah. I'm sorry about that. I didn't realize it until yesterday." Carolyn only learned of it from Gabriel yesterday. That was why she quickly rushed here. 

"Let me see your hand." "Hmm?"

"Show me your hands." Carolyn opened her hands for him. When he saw it, only a sigh came out of his mouth.

"Woman, you should be more careful. Just look at your hands." They were bruised up. The palms of her hands were red and swollen. She had been practicing so hard to the point it caused that. 

"...I know."

"Give me a second." Keith started to chant; a water blob appeared before them, landing on Carolyn's hands. Slowly, the redness died down. 

"Thanks." "You could have done that by yourself. And here." Suddenly, something dropped down in his bed.

"Use this ointment if your hand reddens again."

"Stop nagging me." "I wouldn't be nagging if you watch yourself more."

"Hmpf!" Carolyn snorted as she walked out of the room. 

"..." This girl! So stubborn! 

"Keith, you seriously don't understand a woman's heart." Groa shook his head. 

"Indeed." Titus and Craig had a disappointed look.
