What did Cadmus do to make it a tradition? Keith began to wonder even more. While he was doing that, Sakura assured, "You don't have to worry about anything. It wouldn't be anything dangerous."

"Okay, that's good." Keith was content with that. 

"Are you planning to join any clubs?"

"I haven't thought about it, to be honest. I guess I would just need to see it to find out." If there were any clubs that he was interested in, he would check it out.  

"I see," A small smile formed on Sakura's face. However, Keith didn't notice as he started to sniff. A bright smile formed, "Senior, the tenderloin is ready!" The fragrance alone was enough for Keith to understand it was perfect.

Keith took the meat out of the fire. He had covered it in a metal sheet, which made it even more delicious. 

"Amazing," Sakura muttered as she stared at the piece of meat shining in this dark forest. 

It should have all the flavor. Keith thought. The juices from the tenderloin couldn't disappear. He covered it, not allowing anything to evaporate. And the juices stayed at the bottom, soaking the tenderloin.

"Let's eat it!" Keith gulped as he took out his knife. When he did, he sliced a piece open. That was when it started. 

The signature meat juice fireworks started to explode! Keith grinned, "The juices are so delicious." Some of it fell onto his face, and he couldn't help but lick it. 

Just that tiny drop was enough to cause him to gasp.  

"Senior, here is your share." Keith placed a slice in front of Sakura. The girl couldn't help but marvel at it. And when the two ate it, 

Holy! Why is it so tender?! It was similar to pork belly, with a perfect fat-to-meat ratio. However, it was so surprising that it felt more like fat. When it touched his tongue, it melted into his mouth. 

And a complex of flavors went through his mouth. The taste of honey and garlic, like a barbeque, had gone through his mouth. Afterward came a juicy taste of pork katsu. 

The filling adds a perfect texture. The tenderloin provided a soft texture, while the mushrooms and onions gave it a slightly chewier and harder one. 

"Senior, what do you-" Keith was going to say something, but there was no need to. There was a plate right in his face,

"More, please." "Understood." Keith chuckled as he placed more tenderloin onto her plate. And the two kept eating without a care in the world. 

"That was a great meal," Sakura commented. She had never had such a delicious meal before.

"That's because we found a great ingredient." Keith chuckled. It only tasted this good because he had a great base to work with.

"Keith, your cooking skills are otherworldly. It wouldn't have tasted so good if you weren't cooking it." Sakura shook her head. He was right that the meat was delicious. Just because you have a good base doesn't mean the other layers would come together. You needed skills to enhance it. 

"Thank you for the praise." Keith grinned, but then he got up. 

"Should we continue with hunting?" Looking down at his body, he felt it was going crazy. It was similar to an orc lord.  

"Mmhmm, let's go and hunt more." Sakura was eager as well as she raised her katana. Like that, the two went hunting again. 

...

"See you later, Senior Sakura!" Keith waved his hand. The two had returned to the city. The two had hunted for a lot more meat. 

"Mmhmm." Sakura nodded as she watched Keith head home. But once he was out of sight, a grin soon formed. This year's club recruitment is going to be the most interesting yet.
