Volume 5 Chapter 91: Number 2

"Alright, let's go." Keith put up the peace sign; it was now time to go. But as they were about to,

"Hey! Why are you guys-" Hearing some creaking sound, a guard came to check on it. He was surprised to see the three students out of their cells! But that was the last thing he saw. Keith dashed up to him.

Without a second later,

"Okay, he's out cold." Keith let go of the guard, and the man dropped to the ground.

"..." So casual.

"We need to take out the other one," Keith smiled, "Melor, carry him."

"Okay," Melor didn't dare question Keith, not after how he knocked the guy out.

The group quickly headed back to the lobby. And the other guard didn't seem to notice them. He was focused on his newspapers. Nothing needed to be said about what happened next.

"Do we just leave them there?" Jack questioned. With two unconscious people, if someone walked in, it would be trouble.

"I got this. Melor put the guy in the chair," Keith smirked as he got to work.

"This looks perfect," Keith stared at his masterpiece.

"..." The others really had nothing to comment on. That was because it looked immaculate. One guard was sleeping on the job while the other was reading a newspaper.

"Okay, we can leave now." No one would know what had occurred.

"You're way too good at this," Licht muttered. The way Keith made an easy escape was just too natural. It was like he did this a thousand times!

"I know. Now let's leave." Like that, they walked out of the solitary confinement ward without any trouble. Once they got some distance,

"Good, we can be casual now."

"Keith, I wanted to apolog-" Licht was going to say something. However,

"Your brother is trash. There's no need to apologize for anything."

Licht's eyes widened, "You knew?"

"Alfia was the one who told me it was him." Keith shrugged his shoulders.

"I see," Licht sighed.

"By the way, where is Alfia?" That was something Keith was a little confused about. He knew Iston did something. Yet, he hoped what he was thinking hadn't occurred.

"Alfia and Faelyn are fine. They are being held in their rooms."

"Oh, thank god." Keith sighed in relief, "Dodged a bullet right there. I thought she was having one of her fits."

"..."

"Can you act more serious?" Gabriel grabbed his head. Joking in this kind of situation was not the way to go.

Keith waved his hand, "But it would be annoying to talk in a tense atmosphere. However, I really thought Iston was going to end her." With how Iston acted when they fought, he thought he might have actually done that.

"There's no-" Gabriel paused as he turned to Licht, "He wouldn't, right?" He didn't know much about Iston.

"Iston is ruthless and backhanded. However, he wouldn't dare harm Alfia. If word got out, he would be put on the chopping block." His route to the throne would be over if he did.

"Thank goodness," Keith sighed in relief, "Also, why are you here?" He never did get the reason from Licht. Was it only to apologize?

Licht sighed deeply before asking, "I want you to stop Iston."

"Eh?" Beside Keith, the rest were baffled by his words.

"But aren't the two of you brothers?" Jack questioned. Last time he checked, they were siblings.

"We are siblings. However, that doesn't mean I agree with Iston's methods. His ideologies and methods are too dangerous."

"Then why didn't you stop him." Melor frowned. Since they were close, he should have an inkling of that crazy guy's ideas.

"Because I don't have enough power," A weak smile appeared on Licht's face. This was something he knew. Born from a lower bloodline, Iston had all the power over him.

"That's why I need your help. Please save Alfia!" Licht was about to get on his knees. However, Keith grabbed his shoulders.

"You don't need to beg. I was going to do something about it in the beginning." Keith commented.

"Eh?"

"That's why I got myself sent into solitary confinement."

"Eh?!" Licht and the others were surprised when they heard that. You sent yourself there on purpose?!

"What? You think I punched those elves for no reason?" Keith raised one of his brows.

"..."

"What's with the silence?!" A sigh came out as Keith held his forehead, "I knew Iston was targeting me. I needed to do this."

"?"

"Anyways, I'm going to be storming an island. You guys in?" Keith grinned. This was not the first time he had done this.

"You always do the craziest things," "Let's do this!" Gabriel and Jack were in.

"We have to do this!" Arlo was the third.

"I want to join in as well!" Melor added. Since Keith would do something this big, why couldn't he join in on this fun?!

"Sure, the more, the merrier!" Keith laughed. He wasn't going to say no to the extra help.

"Also, I will need your help getting on the island, Licht." Keith turned to Licht.

"Hmm?"

"I'm assuming you can invite people in and out of your island, right?" Keith had that power with his island. He did that with Carolyn and Alfia.

"Mmhmm."

"Yeah, gonna need your help with that. Last time I charged in, I got an earful from Grandpa Cadmus." Just talking about it was enough to make Keith rub his ears.

"You're lucky you only got an earful," Gabriel sighed. He was there when Cadmus chewed him out. It was not a pretty sight.

"But Keith, are you sure you can handle all those elves?" Licht questioned. Before, around 80% of the elves supported Iston's craziness. But the defeat of Alfia cemented it.

"Oh, don't worry. We can handle it." Keith turned to the others, "Gabriel, Jack, Arlo. Load up!"

"Understood!" "But with what?" Jack retorted.

"With this!" Keith summoned out some weapons from his storage belt!

"You had all of this on you?!" "Yeah."

"Stop acting so casual!" Jack wanted to karate chop his head! This man was breaking the tension with how carefree he was!

"They never thought to take away the belt. Tsk. Tsk." Keith shook his head.

"..."

"Okay! We got weapons! Now let's go!" Keith pumped his fist in the air.

"..." Why does it feel like we're going on a field trip? There was something wrong with this atmosphere.

"Licht, lead us to the island."

"...Understood." Keith smiled as he followed the elf. When they entered the island,

"Woah! This place is tightly guarded." Keith and the others quickly hid behind some trees. What they saw were a bunch of guards around the gates.

"Completely different from Todd's island." That island had no ounce of protection.

"Licht, you enter first." Keith smiled.

"Understood. I wish you guys the best of luck." Keith had given him his job, and he would accomplish it. Once he left,

"What do we do now?" Jack questioned. With those students monitoring outside, how were they going to get in?

"Before that, what is the plan?" They were going to raid this island. But how were they going to do that?

"..." Everyone turned to Keith.

"Why are you guys looking at me?"

"...Are you seriously asking that question?" You're the only person crazy enough to charge into one by yourself!

"...Fine. Fair point." Keith sighed, "I will give you guys your orders."
