What is that idiot doing? 

Carolyn clutched her head. She couldn't believe Keith would do something like this. Well, that was inaccurate. She expected he would do something like that! With how angry Iston and the elves made him, attacking them was unsurprising.

What she was confused about was Keith giving her a look. It was signaling her to not step into the fight.

Darn it! I wanted to fight as well! Carolyn was itching to fight with the elves as well. And that man put a stop to it. He always does this! Why does he keep pushing me away? This was not the first time. Whether it was on purpose or out of habit, there was a distance.  

It felt weird. 

"What's the matter, Carolyn?" While Carolyn was lost in thought, she looked up to see Alger. 

"Hello, Senior Alger," It was a polite greeting.  

"What's wrong, Carolyn?" Alger questioned. With how dangerous her expression was, it looked like she was going to kill someone. However, Carolyn shook her head, 

"Nothings the matter."

"Come on, you can tell this senior." Alger sat beside her. 

"There's only been a bit of trouble," Lately, she noticed Alger talking to her. However, it was only casual.

Alger smiled as he took something out, "Do you want some?" What was in his hand was fruit.

"...I'm fine," Those fruits wouldn't compare to the ones she ate. 

"I see," Alger nodded as he started to eat the fruit, "Sometimes, talking about it will help you out." 

"However, I don't think this will be a time for you to help," What she was feeling right now was something she didn't understand. 

"I see," Without a second, Alger got close to Carolyn. 

"What are you-" "Calm down for a second. People are watching us." 

"Eh?" Carolyn's eyes widened. Don't tell me. Without any hesitation, she used mana search. When she did, it showed there were a lot of people surrounding them! 

When did they surround them?

"They're getting ready to attack us. Can you deal with some of them?" Alger whispered.  

"I can't. There's too many." Carolyn shook her head. She had spotted at least 10 surrounding them. There could be more as well. 

"I see," Alger thought, "But let's say, what if you have the power to do it?"

"Eh?" "Will you defeat all of them?" 

"Yes," Carolyn nodded without any hesitation.

"Then you just have to trust me," Alger smiled. Carolyn was confused when she heard that. However, 

"What do you need me to do?" There was no time for her to think.

While the two chatted about their plan, the elves stared at them.

"What do we do about the other one?" "Who cares about him."

"Take both of them out!" The elves didn't hesitate as they dashed at them. However, they stopped in their tracks as they saw something unbelievable. 

Carolyn's hair started to shine. The amount of mana overflowed from her body. It was a beautiful glimmer, as if a galaxy surrounded her.

What is going on? Carolyn's eyes widened as she looked at her hands. She never expected something like that. But it only lasted a second as she turned to her opponents. And she fired the stars. 

Each one was like a meteor as it crashed into the enemies! They were sent flying through the wall!

I did that? Never did she think she was capable of doing something like that. While she was dazed with her power, 

"Carolyn! Watch out!" Alger quickly pushed her away. Splat! Carolyn quickly turned around to see that Alger's arm was shot. 

"Eh?"

"Senior, are you alright?!" Carolyn quickly looked at it.

"I'm fine. There's nothing to worry about." Alger waved his hand. However, Carolyn scoffed, "That doesn't look fine. We need to go to the nurse."

"If we go,"

"It's fine! Let's go!" Carolyn didn't hesitate as she dragged Alger to the nurse's office.
