"Eh?" You figured it out? 

"It's my brother."

"You mean Licht?" He didn't seem like the type of guy to hire assassins against him. He was pretty calm. They also appeared to have a friendly relationship. 

"No!" Alfia shook her head, "Licht isn't the one who caused all this. The one who did this is my other brother, Iston,"

"You have another brother here?" 

"Yes," Alfia nodded, her voice firm, "This is a matter of life and death. Can you take this more seriously?" This man was half-heartedly saying things without a care in mind. This was supposed to be a serious conversation. However, he was making it comical.

"My bad. But that frown on your face isn't helping." Keith laughed. She was being too serious. 

"..."

"Sorry." However, Keith quickly apologized. 

"Anyways, my brother was the one who caused all of this. It seems he views you as a threat." Alfia sighed.

"A threat? How am I a threat?"

"..." Alfia and Faelyn paused as they stared at him. Are you seriously asking this question?

"...Point taken," Keith didn't say anything as he knew what they wanted to say. With all the damage he caused, it screamed nothing but a threat. 

"But I don't think-Wait, is it?" A thought occurred to him. 

"Yes, it's because of me," Alfia groaned. She continued, "Iston's thoughts are what you expect. He thinks of elves as the superior race. And he, a prince, is above everyone. So me talking with you is a problem." 

"..." A silence came after once she said this. 

"That's why I hate that man," Alfia's expression turned dark.  

This was a surprise. Keith had seen Alfia's anger many times before. But this was something else. It was hatred that was ingrained in her bones. 

"He's always there to try and ruin me. He says he does things in the name of "elves," but it's really for his own personal gain." Alfia understood the backhandness Iston had! It was nothing more than a farce. 

"..."

"But then again, I'm powerless against him," A look of remorse was on Alfia's face. 

"Princess,"

"But it's true. I can't do anything to stop Iston. He has more power and influence than me." Alfia understood. Influence and power. All of it was something Iston had. Some elves followed her. However, it was nothing compared to the ones following Iston. 

There was no way she could go against him. 

"Don't count yourself out," Keith sighed. 

"Hmm?"

"That type of person will not grow," 

"Eh?" Faelyn and Alfia tilted their heads. 

"You keep saying that you're weak. However, I don't think you're weak." Keith chuckled.

"How am I not weak?" 

Keith flicked her forehead, "Because you're not."

"Hey!" That didn't answer her question. 

"You're walking a different path than all the others."

"..."

"People can join others and follow the same path that was already built. Those types are a dime a dozen. But those who stray off to make their own path are the strongest." Keith smiled. 

"But I don't have what Iston has."

"So? Just because you don't have what Iston has doesn't mean you can't match him." 

"..."

"Alfia, don't think of anything of that sort. Iston's mindset is set in the past. There will be no growth. You have opened your mind to everything around you." If he had to choose between the two, Alfia would definitely be his choice. 

"And besides, you're more beautiful than him. I'm sure there will be people who will follow you," Keith laughed. There was a plus.

"..." Alfia's eyes widened when she heard that. 

"Huh? What's the matter?" He said it as a joke to ease the tension.

"Nothing, you can leave now." 

"Is it really-gah!" Before Keith could say anything else, what he got was a fist to his stomach, 

"Just go!"

"Sheesh, woman!" Keith rubbed his stomach as he walked away. However, Faelyn looked at Alfia, 

"Princess," There was a slight hesitation as she stared at her.

"Nothing!" Alfia shook her head.
