Volume 5 Chapter 58: You’ll Have To Punish Everyone

"How dare you talk to him like that?!" Alfia's expression turned dark as she glared at the owner. This was disrespectful. Even if it was human, there should be some respect.

"..." The vendor didn't know what to say. That human was friends with the princess! Never once did he think that! All he understood was that what happened next was going to be horrible.

"We'll take some fruits as an apology!" However, Keith spoke up.

"Eh?" Alfia turned over to Keith,

"That would be more than enough of an apology, right?" Keith gave a wink. A few seconds passed by before Alfia sighed,

"That would be enough."

The vendor's expression brightened, "Please take some!" He didn't hesitate to hand over two bags full! After walking away, the vendor almost lost all strength in his legs.

"Keith, why didn't you let me punish him?" Alfia was itching to do something about this!

Keith tilted his head, "Let me ask you, will you punish everyone who does this?"

"Of course!" There was no way those types of people shouldn't be punished! What they were doing was basically discriminating against others!

"Then you will have to punish all the elves here then," Keith chuckled.

"Eh?"

"You do know only a few treat other races the same." And those were the people who were overpricing him like no tomorrow!

"Even if you punish them, it won't change them either." Punishing them might make it even worse. They would still have hatred.

"..." When Alfia heard that, she didn't know what to say. Keith's words were correct.

Noticing the downward expression, Keith chuckled, "Come on. What's with the sad expression? Did you forget we got ourselves some new fruits?!" This was a win!

"Pff." That caused Alfia to smile, "Is fruits the only thing in your head?" His eyes were still bright as he stared at them.

"That's because it's exciting." He would be lying if he said it wasn't. That was the type of person he was.

"Trust me. These fruits won't be as delicious as the ones you had grown." She had tried those fruits. The flavor was nothing compared to what Keith had.

"Did you forget I have Diana?" Keith smirked.

"..." I see. That made a lot more sense.

"Let's head back to the island!" Keith pumped his fists.

"Mmhmm!" Alfia nodded. Like that, the two head to Keith's island.

...

"Good work today, Nephele, Aria." Diana stared at the two. The two's weary expressions said it all. It seemed they had dealt with something.

"There were so many attackers," Nephele sighed.

"Attackers?" Diana's eyes narrowed.

"Who were the attackers?"

"They were trying to hide their faces. But they were elves." Those people tried to hide themselves with hoods. However, Nephele took them off once she knocked them out.

Diana's expression changed.

"How should we deal with them?"

"The two of you need to be more discreet." The two spirits turned to see Aidiun by the door.

"Sorry about that."

"Don't apologize. Just make sure the others don't hear about this," Aidiun shook his head. They were talking in the open, "What's this about the elves attacking Keith?" He heard a good amount of their conversation. Nephele started to explain everything that had happened.

"I see," Aidiun's expression turned dark. Someone was targeting Keith.

"Does it have to do with her?"

"It has to be," Aidiun shook her head. Alfia had to be the reason why he was getting attacked. There were also stints of elves trying to bully Keith. However, the latter paid no mind to them. Diana looked at Nephele,

"Nephele, I want you to be with Keith for all times,"

"Understood!" Nephele nodded. There was no way she was going to let Keith be hurt.

"And Aidiun, you should find more information about the elves attacking Keith. The culprit had to be in the academy." Keith didn't talk much with other elves outside the academy. So that meant the culprit had to be inside.

"On it. And should we tell Cadmus about this?"

"No!" Diana shook her head, "Asking him to do that is creating more problems for Keith." Cadmus might actually stand guard and watch over his cart.

"We can tell Sohma. But not Cadmus." Sohma had a level head compared to Cadmus. Plus, he was a better choice in figuring out the culprit.

"Understood."
